It takes a lot and I mean a lot to impress me. I used to do compliance while employed as the Corporate Clinical Manager for a Multi speciality multi-office private dental practice in NJ. So you know I am always critiquing when I go into a Healthcare Facility of any kind. I critique from the first phone call to when I am dismissed. This office passed with flying colors. I decided to spend a hefty amount of money that I was quoted by Dr. Fay for implants on both top…read moreand bottom arches. Dr. Panko would pull all my teeth and Dr. Fay would place my implants. They both did a great job and I continue to get compliments, however, when I was already in the chair with Dr. Panko, I was informed that the cost was increased by $10,000! My procedure had already began. I didn't fight it at the time because the thought came to me that I might not have been happy with the final product (Sort of like rethinking of complaining in a restaurant about your steak and someone might spit on it before they give it back to you.). I believe the timing to inform me could fall under false advertising since I was already in the chair and bam! An additional $10,000! I believe Dr. Panko should be the one to reimburse me since he was responsible for raising the price which Dr Fay was not aware of at the time. I expect a call from Dr. Panko. Perhaps he wouldn't have been so eager to up the cost at such a late date had he realized I live in the same neighborhood as he does.

They confirmed with me that yes, indeed I needed a root canal. They could have scheduled me in fairly quickly but I was going out of town the very next day for quite an extended period. I was dreading the actual procedure based on nightmarish stories that I'd heard before. Boy was I in for a surprise. The only real pain that I experienced was the actual numbing shot to the inside pallet. However, once fully numbed I felt nothing. Bonus points for not having the whole side of my face numb. I expected pain and or soreness afterwards but only experienced muscle soreness from having my mouth open for a little over an hour. Kudos to those who worked on me. Would highly recommend.

This dental office has a policy that they won't complete your treatment until your insurance pays…read morethem. I have 2 policies for one reason, to keep my out of pocket costs low or non existent. They called and cancelled my appointment unless I paid for the entire thing out of pocket because they had not been paid yet by my insurance companies. I can see paying the out of pocket portion but in this case it was zero. They know they're being paid but refused treatment. Never have I ever experienced this at a dental office and as much as I like the doctors, the business practices are trash and are not customer service friendly at all. I won't be going back once I finish this procedure that was already billed.

Apparently she was trying to get across her point that they don't take emergency calls by telling me that this is "not the same office anymore". Just crazy and insensitive. The dental assistant was hateful as well. If you can get past the rude staff - Dr. Boyle is the awesomest dentist you will ever see.

I had a permanent crown done on my front tooth at another practice and it was horribly done, I was…read moremortified. I had never been a patient of Dr. Boyle but she agreed to see me and squeezed me in rather quickly. From the very beginning, Dr. Boyle took the time to listen to my concerns and provide honest feedback about what she could do. While I had the permanent crown made at the lab, I had a temporary crown. The original coloring for the temporary crown was a little too brown for my teeth but it was only temporary. The next day, Dr. Boyle called me to tell me she had obtained a lighter shade for a temporary crown and asked if I wanted to come back and have a better one made. I was blown away with the initiative and generosity. She even had me come back an extra time to have more photos taken, to ensure the permanent crown would match perfectly. When I got my permanent crown, she immediately said "I think we can do better" and sent it back to the lab to have a new one made. I had my final permanent crown implanted today and it is a perfect match. I cannot thank Dr. Boyle and her staff enough for their patience, skill and perseverance. I was incredibly distressed about my previous crown and she made it so much better. She focused on the aesthetic impact of a front tooth crown and is obviously very knowledgeable about cosmetic dentistry. Her staff, from the ladies at the front desk to the dental technicians, were all incredibly kind and helpful. Highly recommend this practice. Dr. Boyle and her staff are absolutely amazing!
