During this time, we both experienced several problems revolving around Webster's customer service and poor management from staff, leading to repeated, unnecessary frustrations that should have never existed in the first place. I am writing this to share my husband's and my experience in the hopes that it saves anyone else from wasting their time. We found Webster Cosmetic Dentistry and became new patients as we recently moved into the area and needed a new dentist. As a new patient, they wanted us to have x-rays taken, to which we informed them we had just taken x-rays before leaving our old dentist, and expressed concerns that, as these x-rays were recent, this expense would not be covered by our insurance. They said they would cover the bill if insurance did not, and proceeded with the x-rays... Insurance did not cover it, and the dentistry sent us the bill for the x-rays. I had to fight with Webster for about a year to have them honor the bill. After this, my husband and I had several cleanings done, which led to insurance and billing problems. After the first or second cleaning, we were charged for the entirety of the bill for the last visit, as they did not properly file our insurance information for both of us. My insurance did cover the cleaning, and sent me a check directly to cover our payments. While I was made whole by my insurance, I was very displeased with Webster Cosmetic Dentistry, as I had to pay upfront and make money tighter for my other bills, when this would have been covered by my insurance directly had they filed my information correctly. At one of my cleanings, I was making conversation with the lady cleaning my teeth while we waited for the doctor to give a final exam at the end of the visit. As I was talking to her, I apparently added a curse word in (which is normal for my family), not at her or anyone in particular, but as part of my speech. The doctor (Dr. Webster) overheard this as he was coming in, and proceeded to flip out on me, raising his tone of voice and scolding me as if I were a child, saying "how dare you" and ranting about my slip of the tongue. I felt very disrespected, and later angry about the situation after the shock wore off, only now realizing I should have left their business by this time as their service only continued to worsen. Earlier this year, my husband had a tooth chip and fall off of significant size, about the size of a popcorn kernel. He called that day (a weekday, Thursday if I am not mistaken) to schedule an appointment as soon as possible, and left a voice message. The next day he called again hoping to get through as this seemed like an urgent issue, and again received no answer or call back. It took until the middle of the following week for the dentist to simply return his call and schedule the appointment. This is normal for Webster's, as prior to this incident, my husband was experiencing pain in his mouth and called to be seen, reaching no one. He never received a call back or an appointment, and luckily the pain went away after a week on its own. During one of my last cleanings this year, I had a cleaning that was abnormally rough; I felt I had either tartar or bone pieces in my mouth after she was done, which I disregarded at the time. Coincidentally, about a month after this visit I began having problems with my crown, where my gums started bleeding around this area, it smelled foul, and eventually fell off entirely. I made an appointment to get this fixed, where I was scanned for a new crown, to which afterwards I was told the scan was not done properly and would need to make another appointment for a new scan (which was when I was supposed to be getting the crown put in). I am not entirely sure when it occurred, but I believe it was after this where I was called to make a new appointment, as they had no record or recollection of making the appointment for the second scan. After this second appointment was completed, they put a rush on the crown so that I could get it in before I started working my seasonal job at Amazon and gave me an appointment to finally put the crown on. However, once they received the crown, they called me to schedule an appointment, not realising or acknowledging they had already booked me prior, even though I had their card to prove otherwise (for the second time in a row). At this last visit, I was told by Dr. Webster that I should be grateful that they squeezed me into their busy schedule, which came across as rude and arrogant, considering the fact that they lost my original appointments to begin with, leading to a rush job from their own errors.

I used to love going to this dentist. USED TO. My daughter…read moreand I were patients from 2012 till about 2014. An unfortunate issue left me with a very awful experience no parent should have to deal with. Long story short, my daughter needed a procedure and because I didn't want to put my daughter under anesthesia this brought on unexpected challenges. For starters, my child (at the time) was 5 years old. When the dentist, yes the dentist, told me I needed to leave the room so she can proceed I absolutely did not budge. If she thought I was going to leave my daughter alone in a room with people I didn't know, she was out of her mind. I was not leaving my child alone for one second. Come to find out, all they needed to do was inject my daughter with a numbing shot and her tooth issue could've been fixed. Instead they gave me a hard time because again, I didn't feel comfortable putting my child under anesthesia.... The final nail in the coffin was when I asked for both my daughter and My medical records. I was told that I couldn't get them until my daughters bill was paid....hello HIPAA Violation. I haven't been back since & have been a happy patient elsewhere.

The signed the secondary so we can file and get it out of pocket back. Well they got the secondary also and kept that. I have now called three times visited twice and have emails stating the office manager will get back to me and send me a check. It has been three months and still nothing. My wife called today and they told her they would email the office managers contact information and still nothing. Lilly in the office has been given us the run around.
