I called the office explaining that I have recently been diagnosed with cancer and need dental clearance so I can start radiation and chemotherapy. Absolutely zero empathy, and the response was "We don't have any new patient appointments until the end of August and we don't submit claims to medical insurance, and if you don't have out of network dental insurance we can't help you". I again explained I have cancer, and this is for medical clearance, and she just refused to listen to me. Rude and completely unprofessional. I hung up the phone in tears because this has been such a frustrating and long journey/process, and it's people like that, who make it so much harder.
