We come here regularly whenever we are in Hallendale Beach. This time the food was not as good as…read moreusual. The pastelito andino carne (we ordered 4) was dry and bland. The chicken empanada (a bit greasy) was still delicious. Staff was friendly, mostly Spanish speaking. They greeted us with a smile. I still recommend this bakery because they make their products fresh and in house. Maybe just tweak a few things to make it less greasy.

I'm not Venezuelan, and I really enjoy this place, I recommend the empanadas: pabellon (savory shredded beef, sweet fried plantains, black beans, and cheese, all wrapped in a crispy fried) don't forget to dip with cilantro sauce. Service will take 10-15 min depending on how busy is. Try to go early if you don't want to wait longer... ambiance is alright. Serve your food inside or outside. Also there's a parking lot behind. The previous Yelper on here commented about the price, but honestly these are very large - you could get two if you are very hungry, or one for a snack or light meal, IMO. I only wish I left more room in my stomach for dinner ... I'll have to have these tomorrow for a snack or small meal! (my hotel room has an oven, luckily!)

Tasty Argentinian style pizza where pretty much, they all come with olives. But you can request them on the side. The faina was really good. Actually better than the pizza which can be raw in the middle if not cooked properly. We came to the Hallandale location and it has ample parking. Just remember, it's Hallandale so traffic can be heavy. The sound system wasn't working but the place is big and roomy.
