The fugazzeta pizza stuffed with ham and cheese is outstanding and easily the highlight of the menu. The chicken napolitana milanesa is another must try, huge portion and perfectly done. Located next to Padrinos on Hallandale Beach Boulevard in an upscale strip center just west of the intercostal bridge, Banchero is serving quality Argentine style pizza. Been seeing this place in Hallandale for a while and being married to an Argentinian we decided to give it a try :(((( So we're a believer in trying new places but honestly we were not too impressed .maybe we should have tried there pizza but we wanted more typically dishes . The gnochi we ordered in marinara sauce tasted like rubber , definitely not fresh made in house , the Marinara sauce watery , we also ordered the chicken milanesa. Large portion but very bland no salt no flavor had to actually dip it in the marinara sauce from the gnochi to make it palatable. Finally, a Banchero closer to me! I typically go to the Miami Beach location, but when I found out they opened a second location in Hallandale I was excited! The parking is way more convenient than the Collins Ave location. Inside is decorated nicely, not as nice as the beach location, though. Our waiter was nice, and very attentive. The food was exactly the same, that was a pleasant surprise. I've had issues with restaurants opening second locations and the food not tasting the same. Needless to say I will become a regular here. read more

As I live in Florida for 7 months out of the year, I can enjoy the local cuisine in Miami or Fort Lauderdale. This little gem is north of Miami ( about ) 9 miles and south of Fort Lauderdale in Hallandale Beach. My wife and I chanced upon this excellent Argentinian restaurant for lunch. My wife ordered chicken, beef, and corn and cheese empanadas with an excellent cafe con Leche. I ordered two empanadas ( chicken and corn ) and a small capresse pizza. Everything was fresh and delicious. The pizza had a Sicilian style crust with cheese, tomato sauce, and tomato slices. That pizza knocked it out of the park for both of us. For desert, my wife had the chocotorta, and I had the flan with whipped cream. What a great experience with the terrific staff that took care of us!! Highly recommended read more

We went to Banchero because the wait at Padrinos next door was too long. We didn't have any of the Argentinian food so I can speak to that food. We did have two salads and a few pizzas. The salads were mediocre. The cheese pizza and the chicken and mushroom pizzas were just ok. The red pepper and onion fugazza pizza was good. The service was fine. This has got to be one of the Craziest places Ive seen in South Florida..The prices are absolutly insane. You can have a full lunch meal, 3 sides under $12 next door. This place Bancharo are like those mattress places that pop up with no customers. This is a $30 per pie pizza place..did anyone do their research? In Argentina these pies are about $7.00 (money conversion)..Take two and a half New York slices about $10 and thats the size. I like this place and the food....the staff are always attentive and friendly....the milanesa is fantastic and the pizza is not like the pizza you get in most places....it is Argentinian style and made in a pan and not in a pizza oven....overall I would recommend this restaurant and will continue to make it one of my regular local places for a good experience.
