We were visiting the area and decided to try this place out. We walked in and was greeted right away. The waitress came right over to bring menus and gave us a heads up that it would be about a 40 min wait since they just got in a lot of orders. We stayed anyway and ordered some apps. Next thing, here comes our pizza! The cook/chef heard that we were going to stay anyway and didn't want us to wait so long for our food. We thought that was extremely thoughtful of him. I have ordered several times in the past and it was "ok" so I thought I'd try again. I ordered penne à la vodka because it was buy one get one. I have no idea what their version of penne a la vodka is, but penne with a little tomato sauce and halved cherry tomatoes with parsley is what you like then ok. If you're looking for the real thing, this isn't it. Not even close. I'll have to try to get some vodka sauce and make it edible. I'm done with Tu Pizza. read more

So, second visit, last visit, really disappointed in that had been once before and it was very good, hence the return. Small, perhaps more so than advertised, one of the two over cooked, and just not what the review or stars would have you think. I used to come to this place all the time and also order for delivery . I think they switched out owners. The sauce is way too sweet and pizza dough taste like they're using very cheap ingredients. I do not recommend this place. You're basically getting elementary cafeteria pizza. read more

Decided to try this pizza place since I was in the area. The reviews seemed well enough for me to try it out. I asked the cashier if he's tried the eggplant parm before, and he said "it's Really Good! Everything we make fresh, the bread, dough and more" So I decided to try the eggplant parm sub since he said it was Really Good. It was definitely Underwhelming. The sub was quite dry, barely any sauce. The eggplant did not taste fresh at all, it tasted like it was microwaved. I could tell because the eggplant wasn't crispy, the breadcrumbs were soft and dry. It was layers of dried eggplant. Couldn't say it was flavorful, just very subpar. I didn't eat the sandwich, $11 wasted. Wouldn't recommend eating subs from here. Haven't tried the pizza, but based on the upsell of the food from the cashier I'm not trying anything else from here. I'll spend my money elsewhere read more

Good Pizza spot that's been here for 7 years. Simple and traditional boardwalk style. They make a good thin crust that still has some structure without being to soggy or floppy. Kinda like Mauros in downtown Hollywood back in the day except not as big. They are quick when it comes to their order as well (15-20 min.) You got Piola down the street which charges way too high for a small slice and longer wait. Oof sorry Piola, love your gnocchi, but when it comes to the pie, your lovely artisan pizza is not for the boys on game day. I suppose it's your preference of slice. So for the pizza hunter that likes a classic thin crust pizza I recommend this spot. read more

New people answering the phone. Old owner must be gone. Ordered a pizza and they would not deliver all the way to my door until I said - "I'm a very good tipper" Pizza arrived late and cold and dry like it was made many hours ago. Very salty and only could eat one piece. Not a good place to order pizza from. BTW, the pizza box did not have a name on it. A reason to think new owners who changed the pizza formula from good to terrible. Just one reason. read more

This One the greatest pizza around Hallandale my son love it so much and we too. And they know his order almost every day. Slice of Pepperoni pizza, cookies and a cup of water. I believe we been coming since they open. Always great taste pizza and wonderful service! When became party time you want your pizza fast delivered! I'm glad that we find great pizza place! WHAT A TASTE! As an Italian, this reminds me of my home. Everything is ran by a very friendly family. Here they made the best thin crust pizzas I ever had. I ate a fresh margarita (the one that the waitress suggested to me) thin crust, hot, and absolutely amazing flavor. LOVED IT AND WOULD HIGHLY RECCOMEND! Ahh what a surprise. Who would've thought a new pizza place in Hallandale would be the best pizza I've had in all of Florida. The food is absolutely amazing and taste so fresh and lively. Unfortunately if I could give it to you straight up, if you are a woman, minority, or queer don't you dare ask questions! Asking about ingredients will clearly hurt the pride of the store owners and they will proceed to get your order wrong and give you a whole lot of attitude with it. I had to show her a picture of my husband with our kid to prove it was our order because it was not the same person who she gave our pizza to. Meanwhile, I'm the one who had a receipt?? After some back and forth using Google translate (the person spoke very limited English) she remade the pizzas, but the whole thing felt like I had to accommodate for her error and anger when we were the ones who paid. Honestly, if she had just accepted the receipt once i showed it and didn't continuously keep shrugging her shoulders or make me feel like the problem, I'd go back to my 5 stars but this type of service and behavior to me is unacceptable. For how expensive these pizzas are, they need to do better. I'd recommend it for the pizza, but definitely not for the service. What a disappointment. I hate leaving bad reviews but this was not okay. At least Blaze pizza will give you a free cookie or something to compensate. All i got was an attitude and shrugging shoulder.
