Tucked away in a tiny grab-and-go setup is what may easily be some of the best Argentine empanadas in town. This is definitely not a dine-in type of place. The space is extremely small and designed mainly for ordering to-go, although there are a few benches outside in the front if you decide to stay and enjoy your food there. The hardest part of the visit? Choosing which empanadas to order. Their variety is impressive, and every option sounded better than the next. It's the kind of menu that makes you instantly start planning your next visit before even finishing the first bite. Service wise, the attendant was not particularly welcoming and didn't offer much guidance or recommendations on the more popular empanadas, which would've helped first-time customers navigate the menu a bit easier. That said, once the empanadas hit the table, everything else became secondary. Perfectly flaky, flavorful, fresh, and incredibly satisfying. The food completely stole the show. Not much for ambiance, not much for service, but when the empanadas are this good, you'll gladly return for another round. : read more

I know a good thing when I see it and the Empanadas store is easy, delicious and fun. I usually order boxes for clients with various flavors and treat myself to one, as well. My current obsession is the caprese! It's so warm, ooey gooey and melts in your mouth fantastic. They have various types, sweet and savory, so there's definitely something for everyone's taste. read more

Had this place bookmarked for a while. Finally got the chance to check it out today. Located along Biscayne Blvd., The Empanada's offers a variety of freshly made empanadas at an affordable price. As of right now, they have a promotion: buy 12, get 2 free and buy 6, get 1 free. The type of empanadas made are either traditional, special, signature, sweet, or vegan. There's also sandwiches, ice cream, sauces, cookies, and cold beverages. I appreciate that each empanada is stamped with the name of its filling so you know which one is which. I purchased 7 empanadas: two beef, two chicken, spinach, caprese, and pulled pork with mango bbq. After waiting a few minutes I was handed a box filled with hot empanadas. It smelled divine and yes I took a bite of each one after cutting them in half. I liked them all. Each had just enough filling which was flavorful and the empanadas was light and flaky. These are so good for snacking. Gonna try to visit again to try other flavors read more

Wow these empanadas are reallt good. I was in the plaza getting a salad when I decided to try it. I am constantly passing this place. They are all served hot in a case it looked like 15 different varities. I got the chicken it was excellent around $4 but a big size. read more

Found this little gem as I was driving through us1 in aventura. The signs outside called my attention. Parking is a bit tight. I had to wait probably like 2 minutes as I had someone ahead of me. Seating outside but not much so you're lucky if you find a spot! This restaurant brings a very unique approach to the Argentinian empanadas with different than usual fillings but with a gourmet taste. The girl who assisted me was very nice and professional and also gave me suggestions on the most ordered items. I took carry out and brought it home to my wife which she loved. Recommend the steak empanada and the cheese and beans one. Go check em out! read more

I was driving south on Biscayne Blvd when I noticed this little show called "empanadas" I decided to go in. Wow, I am so happy that I did. They have about 20 different flavors of empanadas., each tastier than the next. The ambiance is mostly for take out but they have some picnic tables in the front for you to eat. The ladies working the kitchen and counter were very nice and know their products. I recommend this place highly. read more

I ordered online for pick up. The shop itself is very small with a few spots for seating outside. It's very cute and I loved the packaging. My online order was right on time. I ordered a variety of 6 empanadas for my coworkers. Everyone enjoyed them. I'd like to mention that they also offer vegan options! Had the spicy beef which was delicious! It had the perfect amount of heat. Chicken and cheese was ok, not my favorite. Next time I'll go with the spicy chicken My only gripe is that the sauces cost $1. I wish they weren't so pricey, considering that the empanadas are already $4 each and not very big read more

Came here for a snack. They have tons of different empanadas and the menu is divided into categories. So happy they have vegan ones! Got the vegan ham and cheese, yummy and served hot. Husband got creamy chicken. They are pricey individually but they have a special if you order 6 or 12. Service was quick and efficient. Small place with a few outside tables. read more

Really great spot for a quick lunch and light lunch or snack. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They made nice recommendations. The food is great too! I tried - Spicy beef empanada - Homemade premium ground beef, red bell peppers, hard-boiled egg and spices including Cayenne pepper. VERY good. Generous with the ground beef amount. This was not spicy at all imo just had a nice subtle kick. 5/5 Salmon Philly empanada - Salmon, scallions, olive oil, chives, cream cheese, leek, cherry tomatoes and spices. This was pretty good. I just feel it was a little heavy on the cream cheese and a little light on the salmon. Would have been nice to see big chunks of salmon in it, but it tasted good and indulgent. 3.5/5 I really liked this place and would come back when I'm in the area. I love that the names of each empanada are on the empanadas. Their dessert empanadas looked delicious and I would be interested in trying those. The only downside to this place is the pricing for each empanada seemed a bit steep considering the size but I guess that's to be expected in the area. Very good overall! read more

The most delicious empanadas! They have SO many different kinds that cater to everyone's cravings. Anything from your classing spinach and spicy beef to vegan ham and cheese or even smoked salmon with leeks! I picked up 8 for Father's Day along with the Italian sauce (highly recommended)! I also picked up some alfajor de maicena - shortbread cookies with dulce de leche filling rolled in coconut. I didn't get to try all 8 empanadas since I had to share with my dad... it is Father's Day..... but the ones I did try were so delicious. The favorites of the day were the caprese, vegan seitan and spicy beef. I will definitely come back. My family got mad that I only brought over 8.... read more

I was eating my yummy cauliflower pizza in this small strip mall. Then, I noticed the cute little shop in the corner. The store is small but had so many different kinds of empanadas. It was hard to choose one. I got a Caprese one. I liked the flavor but felt not enough stuffing inside. More dough than inside. Most empanadas are $3.5 each. The store just opened according to their Facebook page. The place is clean and if you want to try all different kinds of empanadas, check this place out! read more

Naked and not fried. Fresh and not frozen. The Empanada's offers fast food that ID much more interesting than those big chain restaurants. I'm giving it five stars in comparison to your other choices. The variety of empanadas is staggering. To test the range, I tried the pulled pork, spinach with mozzarella, onion and egg, beef and the The Cheesy Pampa (ground beef, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese and Atuel cheese, black beans, corn, diced bacon and chimichurri sauce). They were all quite good. Now, this is fast food. There is no place to sit inside, although there are tables outside in the parking lot. And, the quality does not teach that of a good restaurant or homemade. For example, the dough is good but not flaky. Yet, it is good. You will also really like the people behind the counter. read more

The woman didn't really speak English, and the computer wasn't working, she called her boss to see how to take cash. The spinach empanada had so much juice it spilled out the bottom and the filling fell into the bottom so dough was plenty till I got to the filling. It was very tasty. The sweet onion and cheese was delicious. I would love to know the ingredients in the dough, it was yummy. I think I would buy a dozen there are so many varieties, I hope the computer works that day. The Empanada Store location in Aventura has a variety of empanadas to choice from. In store pick and delivery are available. The empanadas are tasty and served warm with choice of sauces available for extra cost. Service is decent. That's my go to place for empanadas. Ok so I randomly stopped here after leaving an appointment nearby and I'm glad I did! It's a small location but packed with flavor. There are picnic style tables outside for customers to enjoy their meals. The service was super quick as well. I went in and there was just one other person in front of me and by the time I scanned the menu and the empanada case the server was ready to take my order. I ended up choosing one savory and one sweet empanada to get the best of both worlds. The chicken and cream is one of the signatures and I can see why! It was so cheesy and creamy and the chicken was packed full of flavor. The Oreo empanada was tasty and not too sweet which was great for me but felt like it was missing something. Still doesn't take away from this little hidden aventura gem! Look forward to coming back and trying the other flavors! read more

A cute little place that does just one thing, and you can probably guess what that is by the name of the store. A mixture of the expected traditional offerings, and more experimental flavors. I didn't go too crazy, and had the beef, blue cheese, and pulled pork. Each one felt fully realized, and rather than just simple switching a simple ingredient out there was obvious design and intent with each flavor. All three hit the spot of what I was hoping for, and there's definitely a long list I'd happily try too. A perfect spot to quickly go in and grab, either to take home or utilize the small seating area outside. I hope to return! read more

It's went to the downtown location about an hour or so before they closed after a football game. This is a great place. Let's start with the appearance as it is clean and extremely organized. The people are courteous and professional. The empanadas are absolutely delicious. The variety is great and there is even a choice for vegans. Definitely a place that cares for the choices you make as a client. The sweet empanadas are a great addition to the menu as they will suit the ones with a sweet tooth. I made an order of almost 50 empanadas and it was swell received by my team. My suggestion is that the place aquire a small order of bags to support a large order like mine. This would be an extra but, certainly the touch of caring that we expect from such an admirable business. Definitely recommend! read more

These aré probably the best empanadas that you can find - period. This place makes them Argentinian style, so if you're looking for something filled with vaca frita, this is not the place... but how do you feel about a pulled pork empanada? Or a beef marinated in Malbec empanada? There are soooo many options to choose from, and that includes their dessert themed empanadas (I have not personally tried these yet). So far, I have tried about 8 of them, including the cheese and onion, the plain beef, the beef and Malbec, the pulled pork, and my absolute favorite, the chicken and bechamel one. If you pay through Apple Pay, it immediately recognizes your account and automatically sets up their rewards program as well. For every empanada you buy, you get one point, and once you get to 100, you get a dozen. I don't particularly think I will reach it, but I can see this being very possible if you're the kind of person who buys these for your office! Highly recommended. They have a few more locations but this is the only one serving the northern part of Miami. read more

They have a lot of choices which is nice & the spinach one was tasty but for the most part they are just ok and the service is also unpleasant. This place is great! We've ordered with them through Uber eats twice and have been impressed both times. You get substantial portions - nice and densely packed empanadas so you get your money's worth. The shop is clean and well organized, everything is nicely labeled and easy to find. The bacon egg and cheese is perfect for breakfast. The malbec was super flavorful, nice chunks of beef and mushroom, the caprese goes perfectly with the Italian dipping sauce (fresh basil and parmesan), and the ham and cheese was tasty and cheesy from start to finish. My wife and I also split a guayaba and cheese empanada that was the perfect finish - absolutely packed full of cream cheese and guava jelly. The crust is very nice, not too flaky but substantial enough to hold all the deliciousness in. We will definitely be returning! read more
