Second, I requested a cortadito with a small amount of sugar and cinnamon -- the same request that is accommodated at the Miami Beach location (Lincoln Road). Rebecca responded with a very unpleasant attitude, saying, "We don't put sugar in the cortadito." Dear Rebecca: when a customer requests specific preferences, the proper response is to accommodate the request whenever possible, not respond dismissively. Customer service is about hospitality, flexibility, and making guests feel welcomed. Unfortunately, Rebecca appears to lack both proper customer service training and the values expected when dealing with customers. Cortadito's brand and standards deserve much better representation.
