This place after multiple attempts of trying it because it's right by my house has proven to be horrible. I have never gone and picked up my clothes and there not be a tear/button missing/ or stain. Then the cleaning they do is horrible the quality is unacceptable. They charge $5 instead of $2 which is what a good place will charge you. read more

I rarely go on a rant about anything, bc it takes a lot to get under my skin... But I had to today, and I'm thankful for Yelp for setting the stage. I had been going to this cleaners since it opened. The ladies that originally worked there were wonderful. Until recently... My second to last visit, a new girl didn't even hang my clothes up, she just threw them on the back seat. I didn't realize what she had done until I had gotten home. So today I pick up my clothes, and she did the same thing. I immediately heard the sound of my newly pressed clothes slide to the floor. I hurried and got out of my car, and she asked me what was wrong... I said yes, that my clothes were thrown on my seat. And she then said, it was because I had too many clothes. Sloppy service y'all!! I peacefully picked my cloths off of the floor of my car and hung them up on the "oh crap" handle. So since I have way too many clothes, I'm going somewhere else who can get better customer service. Here is some advice pilgrim cleaners, TRAIN YOUR PEOPLE TO CARE ABOUT OTHER PEOPLES THINGS! TREAT THEM RIGHT!OR YOUR BUSINESS WILL SUFFER. Firethorne and the surrounding area is blowing up with competition. You will lose more business. read more

I am disappointed in the prices offered here among other things. I have gone here for a few months due to a lack of cleaners in the area. However more have opened and I won't be back. I forgot a coupon for 30% off when I dropped the clothes off (which on a $63 bill is a good bit) and they refused to take it when I picked them up. Even though they have done this a couple times in the past. Why wouldn't a store take a coupon from a loyal customer?? Odd customer service. On addition, the count on the ticket read 21 pieces but it was only 20 in reality so that caused confusion and a headache. I'm not coming back here again and I suggest others steer clear of this place. The prices and odd coupon requirements do not make the headache worth it. Go elsewhere! read more

Not a good experience. Took clothes over to be tailored and was given a one week wait time. When I picked up the shirts nothing had been done to them except dry cleaning. Seems they are in business to take your money. If I was the owner I would hire someone else to represent my company. Would give zero stars if possible. read more

Go elsewhere now that there are options. Only 1 employee here appears to care about anything, the rest don't appear to want to be there and aren't courteous. They are also disorganized at times (had to wait 15 minutes for them to find my clothes and they didn't do the tailoring i had requested). Cleaning service itself is fine but why bother when 5 other places are opening within a mile of here. read more

So i dropped off 20 pcs of shirt and they dry cleaned 2 of my shirts instead of normal laundry , yes the material has a cotton and linen mix but the tag on the cloth does not recommend dry clean at all. So when I questioned the lady at the store why i was not being asked or told first since i told them to do laundry when i dropped it off and those both clothes has been laundried many time with no issue, the answer i get was it is their normal practice to decide what the best for the cloth and all their customers normally know that ( well i am obviously not !!! ) Next i asked if all my clothes has linen mix, are you guys goin to just dry clean all of them and charge me $140 without informing me? Her answer is still the same ! It's their practice to decide what is best for the cloth, if next time i do not want dry clean, i have to ask them to give me consent form to sign when i drop off the cloth. Well, why i was not told about this beforehand when i open account with them? Terrible service for sure! read more

I wish I had read the reviews before going here. I took 2 dresses to be cleaned one with a belt, the girl told me Monday after 5. I was headed on business travel so I was there at 5. Another girl says, it's ready after 6 but they close at 7. I come back at 6:45pm get my dresses & after 30% off my total was still $15ish which I think is a bit pricey for 2 pieces. I get home and sure enough2 dresses but no belt. I had to travel without it, I go back when I return to town and let them know my belt was missing. She looks at my receipt & says "we normally write it on the receipt or give the belt back" I let her know the girl who checked me in didn't do either apparently & that it was my first time using this cleaners. She kept restating it as if it was going to change the fact that the belt was missing. She slowly says she'll contact the "warehouse" and call me, gave no apology for my inconvenience, no additional compensation for my time or for me having to come back on their account. I will NEVER USE THIS CLEANERS AGAIN. THEY HAVE NO SENSE OF URGENCY OR PROFESSIONALISM in handling day to day needs of working professionals. read more

Wish I could give them 0 stars. The new employee is so clueless, very unprofessional and lazy if I may say so. They've been changing staff for the past year. My mom drops off every weekend and the same two girls are there one little Hispanic girl and an African American girl. My mom loves them! They are so nice and very attentive. But now it's been over 3 weeks that I haven't seen the little Hispanic girl which is a shame because she always was so nice and greeted us and even welcomed us back after not seeing us for a while, she always talked to us while my mom gave her piece by piece about literally anything and never seemed bothered or with an attitude, she was always smiling and bubbly. The other girl was so nice too, but she had told me she was leaving for vacation but that the Hispanic girl left. I questioned if it was because of management because one day I saw some older African American man standing behind her very close and she looked uncomfortable to how close he was, he didn't even care. She denied my allegations but I'm pretty sure she had reasons why to leave. For one the manager, Selly, Sally, whoever, there's something off about her, she's way too in your face nice. And she talks and talks and talks that we have to wait literally 10 minutes for her to finish with a car for us to drive up and wait yet another 10 minutes of nonstop talking. My mom asked why is she like that as an employee but the Hispanic girl told us that SHE was the manager, Everytime our clothes went missing the two girls apologized and said they're gonna do what they can to find them or something but now, not even an apology we get questioned if it's somewhere in our closets! We don't get reimbursed anymore only credit and don't even get a copy for our records of our reimbursement or credit but they keep it to themselves. Customer service is all over the place, there's new faces that doesn't seem welcoming, you literally have to be like HI! And you get a look and then get asked for your number, the lines in the drive thru are longer than usual, and the new girl is slow. The other two girls were faster, and showed teamwork, one girl was handling the drive thru while the other was outside! Yes outside, getting customers orders and the bags and onto the next car to move the line and keep it going. I've never seen two hard working girls like them, it's pilgrims loss, not theirs. They lost two amazing girls that brought business from us because we recommended all our friends from the Katy-Fulshear area but now they lost us as customers as well. No friendly girls, no business, because their customer service reflects on the business. Gonna miss those girls, they deserve better than pilgrims. read more

As a paying customer, I like to think that I am important when I visit a business establishment. Unfortunately, today when I visited this Pilgrim Cleaners, the representative was so busy talking on the phone that she couldn't have cared less that I was there. It is not that she didn't provide the appropriate services but that she was more interested in the person on the phone rather than her customer. Maybe this is the new business model and other people accept it as normal but I still think the environment should be "the customer comes first". read more

They lost my husband's clothes and were very rude about it. After several days went by, they finally found them. They didn't even bother to give us a credit or refund for the inconvenience. Do not go here. There are much better options. read more
