The Brooklyn bridge sandwich had so many grilled onions, lots of mayo and was the star of the meal. I will order this when I come back next time. Not the best I've ever had, but definitely good, and the fries were probably my favorite part. My boyfriend wasn't a huge fan of his order though, which was something along the lines of eggs, bacon and French toast. The ice cream seemed to be a really popular option and honestly looked good, but we decided to skip dessert since it was still pretty early in the day. I also noticed a little "Keep Austin Weird" sticker which made me smile. Clearly I keep finding little pieces of Austin everywhere I go in the DMV lol. Overall, I'd say it's worth checking out. We weren't completely blown away by everything we ordered, but I liked the vibe enough that we would definitely try it again just with different menu choices next time.

Delivery review ahead…read more I was craving a really good breakfast sandwich and this place delivered just that! When I talk about quality sandwiches, Semicolon cafe wins! The packaging was handled with care so both of my sandwiches arrived nice and hot. I ordered the B.E.L.T and a grilled cheese. The B.E.L.T was a conversation starter, the bread was buttery and smooth-melts right in your mouth after each bite. The egg with corn, never tried that combo but honey, it was fantastic!!!! The bacon was quite generous and prepared with the perfect crisp and the lettuce and tomatoes were fresh, complementing the sandwich. The sauce on top was a shining star! So much flavor spread evenly throughout the sandwich. My boyfriend loved his grilled cheese sandwich which came with bacon and spinach. Definitely glad that I found this place! I'll order again and this time I want to try their lattes.

It's simple, really good and one of those easy sandwiches to grab when you're in a time crunch. Parking can definitely be hit or miss since it's one of those retail spots tucked into an apartment community, which seems to be super common here in Falls Church. I also tried the chocolate bingsoo once, but unfortunately by the time it got to me it was pretty melted. I'd be willing to give it another try though, especially if I'm picking up my food in person next time. The couple of times I've gone, the lady working behind the counter has been very nice and helpful in her recommendations. Overall, it's a small, quaint little spot with plenty of outdoor seating, which would be really nice on a good weather day. I'll definitely keep coming back for that grilled cheese.

I don't eat lobster (I know, I know) so I ordered the Shrimp Mac & Cheese, which I believe is a limited-time menu item. It was basically a bowl of Mac & cheese topped with shrimp (which I was happy to see vs the shrimp being pre-mixed in). The shrimp were seasoned, maybe a tad rubbery but I prefer that to being undercooked. Tasty Mac & cheese. My companions enjoyed their lobster rolls. Friendly service, clean restaurant.

When I went to eat my sandwich a piece of lobster fell out, so I ate it first. I did not like the taste of the mayo. On the marquee with the recipes for the rolls, it mentions light mayo. Maybe they are actually using low cal mayo. I noticed on the website it does not say light mayo. When I asked about the mayo, the young man did not know what kind of mayo was being used. (They also did not know if the shrimp, also offered, was farmed or wild. Generally, if staff doesn't know that means it's farmed shrimp-- if using wild shrimp it's usually well advertised.) While eating the lobster roll itself, the mayo wasn't as noticeable and the lobster meat was just delicious. Didn't taste frozen or old. The roll was very yummy. My only other issue is that of the Coca-Cola soda drink. I rarely drink sodas so it was a real treat. It looks like the soda to syrup mix was off. The atmosphere is as you would expect. Very clean. No issues there. The outdoor seating was nice as it was a beautiful day. Nonetheless, I will definitely be going back. The staff could not have been more friendly. We went on a Saturday in August so that may be why it was easy to park right in front. I'm not sure how easy it's going to be to park if we have to go into the parking garages. The store does validate; I can't remember for how many hours. This whole area is not quite up and running yet. It seems to be a bit slow, which is normal.

I placed an online order on the evening of 4/21 for my usual -- a Giant #3 with extra meat -- and arrived a few minutes early, which gave me a clear view of the whole process. What I saw was disappointing. The bread was cut incorrectly -- not lengthwise down the center but more like one-third on the bottom and two-thirds on top. That kind of cut doesn't hold up, and by the time the oil was added, the thin bottom half was already soggy. I also don't believe I received the extra meat I paid for. The toppings were applied carelessly -- lettuce scattered across the counter, and the oil and vinegar were poured so haphazardly that the wrapping paper was soaked through before they even got to cutting the sandwich. I'm not writing this to be harsh. I'm writing it because I've always admired this location and would hate to see it slip into the kind of mediocrity that has hurt other spots in the chain. It was clear to anyone watching that neither of these two employees had much investment in the product they were putting in front of the customer. I hope management takes note -- this place is worth caring about.

I paid at the register and went to get a drink from the fountain. When I turned around, I didn't see my sandwich. I waited a few seconds then asked where my sandwich was. The lady who rang me up looked around cluelessly, like some sort of magic trick was performed. The guy whose only job was to wrap sandwiches said nothing with a weird smile on his face. The guy who made my sandwich, I know he made it, I saw him do it... was confused because he certainly handed off the sandwich down the line. I could barely understand the cashier say they'd make me another one. How does a sandwich just vanish? Coulda been them putting my sandwich in one of the to-go bags, coulda been a random overzealous customer, but it was literally seconds, and it was gone. Anyway. Sandwich: This is the worst experience I've had with this chain, so location makes a difference. Now that I am thinking about it, I may have gone here once before and wondered what the hype was all about... having had it in Maine, it's a world of difference. Tasted like older product, and bummed that it was way below par here. Wanted something quick, easy, and familiar, but there are many other lunch options around.

Delivery: well packaged for a long trip to DC and it remained fresh and hot. Food: Sweet potato tater tots El Lomo Saltado Both of these selections were AMAZING! The sweet potato tater tots were genius! Perfectly prepared, packing flavor in each bite. The El Lomo Saltado was DIVINE! Allow me to break down the flavors: Biscuit: gosh this biscuit was buttery and soft. And yes, the juices from the steak did not make it soggy. But back to the biscuit...the top was flaky and the inside was soft! Soft and buttery. Egg: I asked for a well done fried egg (the main dish contains over easy) the egg was perfectly cooked and delicious. Steak: the steak pieces were generous and the seasoning on the meat...dangerous! There was a slice of provolone cheese melted on the egg and the sandwich also contained pieces of potatoes and tomatoes inside.
