First time here, just opened 2 weeks ago, our server was extraordinarily kind and I love how attentive she was and answered all our questions and her style! She has A couple chunky rings and an adorable Saturn pearl necklace :). I was so excited to try out the new Pigzza location on Mills! I decided to stop by shortly after opening to see what all the hype was about! It's a small location but it's very nice and modern on the inside! The service was a bit slow, but honestly nothing to get riled up about. Our server was so nice to us, and the team in general seems passionate about the place. I did see that they're still hiring so if you're looking for work this could be the place to be! For food we had the Cacio E Pepe Fries, Broccoli Pesto Bowties, and the Fusilli with Brisket Sauce. All were absolute knockouts! For our drinks we had the Greenpoint (similar to an old fashioned), and Flora the Explora (taste like a Moscow mule). Next time I'd love to try out one of their pizzas and some other drink options! We ordered the cacio e pepe fries, artichoke dip, the shrimp pizza, big mo pizza, carbonara, and the spicy sausage tortiglioni. Overall I think everyone enjoyed their food, but it was nothing memorable. My favorite dish was the artichoke dip. The service was extremely slow. It took almost an hour to get our food and it is nothing complicated to make. Other tables were waiting even longer. Our server was very kind and apologized many times for the wait. I went to Pigzza for the first time with my friends on a Saturday night. We each ordered our own pizzas and I had the Big Mo with gluten free crust. It was one of the best gluten free pizzas I've ever had due to the crust and how it was cooked. So so good!! I was very impressed. My friends enjoyed their pizzas as well, however one of my friend's was a little burnt on the bottom and another friend received her pizza 15 minutes later than the rest of us. Service was also a little slow so plan accordingly. They ordered the artichoke and pepperoni dip appetizer which they liked and some drinks. My friend suggested this place for my birthday dinner. I'm pregnant and cannot drink and go crazy as I normally would so all I wanted was amazing food. Every single thing we ordered was 10/10!!! A few things to note about this review... we had a party of 11 and when they initially seated us...they weren't ready since the table they needed was still seated. So I can't fault them on that part. They did within 10 minutes expand our table to fit the 3 other people who couldn't fit initially. We did order a lot and it did come out rather quickly and quite hot. It is pretty expensive as well. Finally made my way to the hot new pizza spot that countless have been raving about for months. I must admit I wasn't as in love with it as I would have liked to have been, but then again, expectations and hype were through the roof. However, I still have tons of positive feedback to share despite not being blown away. The vibe of the restaurant itself is very casual. So casual that I felt a little too dressed up wearing heels even though it was a Saturday evening. Nonetheless, it was still clean & modern inside with a bar and an open kitchen concept. Our server Taylor was an absolute delight, had the kindest demeanor and truly went above and beyond. He was prompt in delivering our drinks & dishes but most of all, he was generous enough to offer me eye drops when he discovered I made the mistake of touching red pepper flakes and then touching my eye (OUCH - do not recommend). He checked in on us frequently and ensured our water glasses were never less than half full. Couldn't have asked for a better first time experience when it came to the service. I'm not sure if you're able to make server requests here, but if so, 100% recommend sitting in his section if you can. The drinks & food is where they lost me a bit. I decided to try the "strawberry basil gin fizz" because not only did it sound refreshing, but I loved the photos I had seen of it prior. It was served in a smaller glass than the one I had seen in photos - Not the biggest deal in the world. The "calamari R.A. style" left a lot to be desired. The description sounded so enticing but unfortunately the actual dish fell very short (it was way too heavily breaded and I hardly tasted any actual calamari because the breading was so overwhelming). For my main course, I ordered the full portion of the "spicy sausage tortiglioni" and it was full of flavor but the pasta was slightly undercooked (less cooked than al dente). My boyfriend got the CBW pizza and absolutely loved it (sadly I can't give my two cents since I'm a weirdo and don't like pizza). I felt that the pricing was fair overall for the drinks and the food portions. For a date night, you can easily spend less than $100 here ordering a cocktail each, an appetizer and two entrees. While I probably won't be urging my friends to run to Pigzza for dinner this weekend, I would still head back a second time to try a few other dishes that caught my eye on the menu. Maybe this spot is more for pizza lovers, and that definitely isn't me, so don't take my word for it if you are - Best to go and decide for yourself! Pro tip: If you want to guarantee indoor seating, be sure to make reservations on Resy. A large portion of their seating is outdoors, so expect a high chance of ending up at a table on the patio if you don't plan ahead of time. Also - parking is a bit of a hassle. Our server was great as was the manager. They were attentive and friendly, yet not over bearing. We started our meal by sharing the wedge salad. We thought the pickles added another layer of flavor and I loved how fresh the lettuce was. We were going to order pizza next, but I went rogue and ordered the Cacio y pepe fries as I saw more and more of them being made and loved seeing the Parmesan cheese snow over the plate of hot fries. When they arrived to our table, I couldn't stop eating them. The garlic aoli was a great dipping sauce, but I mostly ate them plain. For our main course, we ordered the pepperoni pizza. 4 stars for a fun new place to eat on Mills! We recently stopped by for pizza and dessert while having a weekend out with our kids. Both our boys are obsessed with pizza and so we are always looking to try new spots out. Inside seating is very limited here so we had to go outside... which was totally fine the day we went because it was a nice day but probably would be more tough during the peak of Summer. The parking lot is a challenge because it is shared with Track Shack so I don't know how that will pan out on busier days (and when we went it was pretty busy). The kids each had their own pizza and loved them and I split a pizza with my husband. We got the Big Mo which has a vodka sauce on it with mushrooms, onions and chives. It was A LOT of mushrooms so be prepared for that and the sauce was lighter than I would have liked but all and all it was yummy and the crust is a great flavor! We ended the meal with the banana tiramisu. It was quite messy and not a beautiful presentation but it tasted good :) I am sure we will come back to try some more things. Alright so, Im a fan of Pig Floyds - So I know this place was not going to disappoint. I came in on a Friday night around 8ish, no reservation. I was sat almost immediately at the "chef's table" which is my favorite because it lets me see the kitchen in action - which is a symphony with in itself. I went because I was feeling peck-ish so I ordered an appetizer with a drink. The roasted pepperoni and artichoke dip which was amazing. And although the garlic bread isn't intend to be the star of the show, it surely deserved its spot light because it had some fresh roasted garlic throughout the bread. I was super exited to finally give Piggza a try! They have been the talk of the town and was really looking forward to this experience. We had a few hiccups that affected my view point of this place. But! First things first - we were happy to sit down right away with our reservation. It wasn't as crowded as I was expecting it to be (the last time I tried to go they were completely full and we couldn't dine there). Our server was friendly and prompt. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, with a cute bar and patio area outside. We ordered the Fries appetizer - they were huge and very tasty! Great for sharing with at least 2+ people. For the pizza - we ordered the Casper and added pepperoni to our pizza! One thing I thought was odd, only To-go orders are allowed to get an 18" pie, while dine-in patrons are only allowed to get a 12". I found it strange. The pizza was unfortunately a little burnt on one side of it. Totally fine with a little bit of toasted crust for a wood fired pizza, but this one was a little over done. We had an amazing time at Pigzza! There were five of us celebrating my mom's birthday, and I'm so glad someone suggested trying out this place. I hadn't heard of them before, but someone mentioned they were part of the same group that owns Pigfloyds, and that was enough to pique my interest. The restaurant's fresh and clean vibe is noticeable from the outside, and it continues as soon as you step inside. We decided to sit outside, and fortunately, we were under the covered section with a nice fan to keep the air moving. Their drink selection was great, with a small beer and wine list and some fun cocktails. I went for a beer, my wife tried the Sangria, and my mom ordered the Lavender Haze. They both loved their drinks, and my dad and I enjoyed the Cigar City Jai Alai, which is pretty hard to mess up, lol. My only minor complaint was that our server didn't know how to properly pour a can of beer into a glass. It resulted in half a glass of foam and half a can of beer still left. Not a huge deal, but it could improve the presentation. We kicked off the meal with Calabrian Chili & Orange Wings and an order of Cacio E Pepe Fries. Both dishes were fantastic. The wings were perfectly cooked and packed with incredible flavor. They were so good that they didn't even need the Bleu Cheese or Ranch offered as dips, but those house-made dips were amazing too. The Cacio E Pepe Fries were delicious on their own, but the dip added an extra layer of flavor that we loved. For our main course, we ordered three pizzas to share, and each of us ranked them differently as our favorites. This speaks to how amazing all the pizzas are and how there's something for everyone. "Meet Me at Floyd's" was my top pick, as it ties both restaurants together with its Braised Brisket that reminded me of Pigfloyd's brisket. The combination of ingredients created an explosion of flavors, and the slight unexpected heat on the finish was a delightful surprise. "CBW" was another winner with a great combination of flavors, and don't worry about the jalapenos; they added flavor without overpowering heat. "Casper" was a tasty white pizza, though it didn't have a unique twist, it was still packed with amazing flavor. We're all eager to return and explore more items on the menu. My S/O and I got some cocktails and shared a Caesar salad, the Asiago tortellini, and the off-the-menu Giant Mozzarella Sticks, a feature we saw on an IG Travel Blog that brought us in in the first place. We shared an Amaretto Spritz and some strawberry cocktail, which were both decent, I'd give them a 7/10. The Mozzarella sticks were pretty good compared to what you would typically get anywhere else but again, it's cheese deep fried and served with marinara, I'd also give those a 7/10 overall. The Caesar Salad was actually pretty good! The Caesar dressing was definitely house-made and the proportion for a SMALL Caesar was definitely enough for us both to share. Now, the reason for the 3 stars, is because the Asiago tortellini was honestly pretty bad. The sauce was extremely bland, just the taste of Asiago and the texture of dirt. The dish was also topped with HEAPS of green onion that took away from the pasta in a way I didn't know possible. I would like to get the name of the strawberry cocktail I had and to confirm that the Asiago dish did in-fact mention the green onions, but their menu appears to change every single time someone takes a photo and posts it to Yelp. Been excited for this place to open since it was announced, and it doesn't disappoint! The fritto misto is some of the best I've had, the addition of some tartness from the pickled peppers is *chefs kiss*. The pizza is great as well, we've tried the Meet Me at Floyd's and the pepperoni so far. I was nervous about the jelly BBQ sauce on the former as I don't have much of a sweet tooth, but it was balanced really well with a little heat. So this is a tough one to rate ... this placed took forever to open and I think maybe that's what made us super excited to go with some big expectations. We had already looked at the menu before arriving and knew what we wanted. I got the sangria (it was okay nothing exciting about it) my husband a glass of red wine. For the food they have half portion options for the pasta which I think is amazing! But they were out of the clam and brisket pasta so we went with the spicy sausage one which was really good. Came on Friday afternoon for a late lunch/early dinner and it was pretty quiet and we were sat immediately. We ordered the cacio e Pepe fries, a shrimp in AINT easy pizza, and the spicy sausage tortiglioni for us to split. Food came out lightning fast, which was great bc we were hungry haha. Everything tasted great, my only thing I would note is I wish the fries had more pepper on them to really embrace the cacio e Pepe vibe instead of just the sauce on the side. Word to the wise: the pasta had HEAT but it was delicious, make sure you're prepared to have some kick in your life thanks to the red pepper flakes! I did find the music was a bit too loud for my taste, but I imagine would have been the right volume for their happy hour and dinner rush which was kicking off as we were leaving. I was excited to try this highly anticipated BBQ Italian fusion restaurant! The dough on the pizza was delicious, the parm has like a cinnamon twist to it, and the pasta was yummy too! Can't wait to come back and try more. read more

Have been looking forward to the opening of this place for quite some time and was disappointed. We made a reservation on a weekday just in case and the inside was mostly empty. Initially, they wanted to seat us against a wall right behind the their POS system which would've been annoying with servers coming right behind you every so often. So we asked for another open table and sat. It was ok for the two of us but I can see how it'll be tight for a larger group. We ordered the spicy sausage tortiglioni and the pepperoni pizza. Which was not what we wanted being that the pizza with clams was out (seems like they switched it to shrimp now), and they were also out of the brisket pasta. The pasta to me was made well, the pizza was soggy and could've been cooked a little more. The wine and cocktail list is extensive and I enjoyed the red I had. My wife ordered the sangria and I had to agree that it tasted pre made and not fresh. All in all, the food doesn't fit the space as it's tight, resembling a fast casual place and not somewhere where we saw ourselves hanging out at the bar or wanting another drink. The garage doors were open and with the outside heat and kitchen we found ourselves uncomfortable. There was someone working on a laptop with stuff all over a table and there were water canteens on the chefs table, making the place look disorganized, not reflecting what you pay for. read more

Don't let the small parking lot discourage you. Circle the block and walk a little bit. I had a salad and shared a pizza. My son had the chicken Parmesan- which I of course sampled. All of it was tasty and shareable. I would definitely come back and sample some more. read more
