The OG

Delicious. Good ratio carmelized lemongrass pork and pickled vegetables and brioche bread. Good heat.

Pigly OG loaded sandwich. The veggies are pickled nicely and there was a great amount of meat.
Matt N.

The OG sandwich is such a delicious sandwich. It was very flavorful and filling. The lemongrass pork was very tender and there was a great amount in the sandwich. The brioche bun was soft and provided a nice sweetness that complimented the spice of the jalapeños. The carrots were crispy and gave a nice crunch to the sandwich. I have never had an Asian sandwich this amazing before. I highly recommend trying one. Victor is a nice guy and it's very clear he puts his heart and soul into cooking.

Miso Tofu Sandwich

I had the miso tofu sandwich specially prepared by Victor. It was the best tofu sandwich I have ever had . The miso flavored tofu charred to perfection with the shredded carrots and daikon pickle with fresh cilantro tucked inside a soft bun. Every bite was absolutely delicious! Victor truly nailed it!

I ate everything and I could really taste the banana flavor! So yummy! Now that I don't eat pancakes that often. The service was good. We had to wait in a long line since this cafe is so popular. The line went quickly so we didn't have to wait that long. Since this cafe is so popular, finding a table to eat took several minutes. We had to patiently wait for one of the employees to clean our table before we used the table. The sound level could be loud since there's a lot of people here. I highly recommend this place if you want something good to eat, but you may have to spend a little time to find a table to eat at since this place is so popular.

Parking: Underground garage, stairs or lift (elevator) up one floor to the Cafe Barrone and Keplers Book Store. We were lucky as I was able to find a table outside. Indoor seating is available and that is also where you place your order. When you pay, you are given a number to place on your table. Order regular coffee here and hot chocolate, or special coffees at another counter. They forgot to give the Duchess the regular coffee, but noticed the mistake at the special counter and brought the coffee to the Duchess while she was picking up her hot chocolate. Smoked Salmon Bagel Platter $22.00: Smoked Salmon, Tomatoes, Cucumber, Capers, Red Onion, & Whipped Cream Cheese with your choice of toasted bagel. My choice: Forever bagel. The dish was was plentiful, smelling and tasting deliciously fresh. Large dollop of cream cheese was much appreciated. Bagel was nicely toasted and there was no hole for ingredients to fall through. Loved that! ORGANIC BEET SALAD $15.00 Roasted organic beets, grapefruit, pickled fennel, avocado, goat cheese, & house balsamic vinaigrette. Title should have said ORGASMIC, because the Duchess proclaimed it to be the very best salad she has ever been served in her realm (wink!) CUSTARD sorry no price, my bad. Duchess says she could eat a 55 gallon drum of this creamy rich dessert. Covered with a dusting of fresh nutmeg making it downright addictive. Drinks: Regular Coffee Taylor Maid Farms Drip $4.75 was nothing to write home about. Would not order it again. It looked like coffee, but no taste on the tongue Hot Chocolate $5.00 Duchess made a rookie mistake and tried to sip it before sucking off some of the whip cream, the chocolate milk flowing lovingly down her white flowery dress. Being the "quite proper" Brit, there was no audible curse. Still, she found it very tasty, with a strong chocolate flavor, which left her wishing she had ordered the large cup. Trendy, bustling, loud crowd. Casual dress is the order. Noise level is not so much as to be painful. If your wearing hearing aids, you may enjoy removing one. Sadly, all the staff were walking around with seriously sullen faces. Our server delivered our order with word unspoken, expressionless. So we were pleasantly surprised with Miguel, who while bussing our table was smiling and downright charming. 5 stars to this young man. Yes, we were here to eat, but it is nice to not feel your attending a funeral, when your spending dollars. Tips start at 18% and up. For what? You basically wait on yourself. Will return, as there are many dishes and drinks to relish. Yeah . . . we did leave a tip. Oh!! And the Duchess paid the tab. Drinks all around.

We placed a group order, and everyone enjoyed their dishes. I ordered the avocado & quinoa superfood ensalada, and it was great. It looked exactly like the picture in the menu. I appreciate they served the dressing on the side so that I could put the exact amount I wanted to the salad. I love that the salad dressing had a bit of a tang to it, and it complimented the rest of the salad perfectly. I look forward to trying all the other items on their menu.

I think the salad is just right. This was my first time dining in, and I really enjoyed it! I think the bowls are very pretty and raises the elegance of dining for sure. We ordered the Peruvian steak sandwich and the Seasonal GOAT with Sweet Citrus - the taste was lovely and well-balanced with some spicy taste. The goat cheese was light and airy, so definitely doable even if you're not a huge fan of goat cheese. The inside space was super spacious, and you can choose to sit both inside or out. We sat inside, and I was glad due to the hot hot weather, the AC inside was great. The lady at the register was also super nice, and gave my toddler a set of crayons and paper to draw on! I will be coming back again soon!

We went at the perfect time before the dinner rush and were greeted by our waiter Dylan. He was quick to answer our questions and offered great recommendations. I got the buffalo chicken sandwich with air fried fries and a pepperoni pizza. I also got a iced matcha horchata. Buffalo chicken sandwich tasted great with not an overpowering vinegar taste but also had that wonderful classic Buffalo wings flavor. The bread was very soft and the coleslaw was actually pretty good. I enjoyed the freshness of it. The fries were very dry and hard to be honest, I'll probably get a salad instead of those next time. The pepperoni pizza was a thin crust and not overly oily and cooked to perfection. No burnt crust or lava temperature cheese. Every bite was a joy. The iced matcha horchata was pretty much just a matcha latte lol. I did not taste any horchata flavoring at all. Not bad if it was just labeled a matcha latte but I probably won't get it again. Overall my visit was enjoyed and I look forward to exploring what the other items on the menu are like. Despite the shortcomings of the fries and the lack of horchata flavoring in my horchata drink I would still say my meal was rather enjoyable. On top of that our server Dylan was outstanding. Checked in at all the right times and was not overbearing but also not lacking in interaction. We did not have to ask for much as he was quick to provide everything we needed. The ambiance and the look of the restaurant was very nice and clean. Music wasn't too loud and the lights weren't too bright or too dim. The seats were very comfortable the tables were clean and I couldn't ask for much else.

I asked twice for a to-go box and it never came. Warning: The servers are not fluent in English, so there was miscommunication in what I ordered, and what the server understood, and what I was being charged . It was a mess! I would highly recommend the hummus flight; you get to sample all four of their hummus types. To my understanding, these hummus types change from time to time. When we went, we had the classic, pesto hummus, chipotle hummus, and the dried olive & feta crumble. The chipotle had a stronger kick than I was expecting from hummus, the pesto was a little too oily for my taste, and I didn't see any dried olives in the last one. But overall, it was the most creative and creamy hummus I've ever had. The Manti and Baba Ghanoush were good too; the dumplings being perfectly cooked and the baba ghanoush (which I thought would be something else) turned out to be one of my favorites! For all these dipping sauces, we only got two slices of pita bread, which was not nearly enough. Make sure you take heavy dips or else you'll be eating straight sauce. I don't know, maybe that's your thing. Service was attentive, plating was suberb, and the decor was upscale. I'm just happy to report that the food quality is on par with the ambiance.

The freshly baked bread is a nice take home for lunch. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. I know their jobs are very busy and they work hard. It doesn't go unnoticed. HEALTH CODE VIOLATIONS!!!…read more I am writing this review to both warn other customers and so that management sees this. I was at the MP location earlier this week and saw not one but TWO health code violations committed by employees. First, one of the ladies was drinking out of an open cup at the front where the food and beverages are prepared. This is against the health code! 113977. (a) Except as specified in subdivision (b), an employee shall eat or drink only in designated areas where contamination of nonprepackaged food; clean equipment, utensils, and linens; unwrapped single-use articles; or other items needing protection cannot result. (b) A food employee may drink from a closed beverage container if the container is handled to prevent contamination of the employee's hands, the container, nonprepackaged food, and food-contact surfaces. The employee (brown hair in a ponytail, wearing grey Adidas) was frequently drinking a pink drink from a clear open cup behind the counter where the pastries are! Also, I saw the male employee behind the counter sneeze and use his bare hand to cover his sneeze. He rubbed his nose and sniffed. I was watching him from my table to make sure that he washed his hands. He went over to the sink behind the cash register and I kid you not, he turned on the water and for literally ONE SECOND put his hands under it. He then wiped his hands together to dry them. HE DID NOT USE SOAP TO WASH HIS HANDS AFTER SNEEZING INTO THEM!!!! Article 4. Handwashing 113953.3. (a) (2) After touching bare human body parts other than clean hands and clean, exposed portions of arms. (5) After coughing, sneezing, using a handkerchief or disposable tissue, using tobacco, eating, or drinking. He then went back to work grabbing customers' pastries. I'd really love for management to please have a word with staff/review training and protocols - please don't respond to this review with the canned "Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We have addressed this with our staff and we will take your comments into consideration." Please actually DO SOMETHING and ensure that all of your staff follow proper health code laws! Thank you!! :D
