Ate a few bites before taking the photo. It was so good!

Really excited when I found out about this Lao fusion food truck! They offer a wide variety on their menu. Here's what I ordered: Lao Smashburger - I was impressed with the unique flavors combos. The patty was infused with lemongrass and spices. We all know smashburgers are often greasy and heavy (which is expected), so I really appreciated the cucumber, pickled onions, and fresh veggies to cut through the fat. The secret sauce tied everything together. For $17, this is a solid choice. Lao'd Eggrolls - Don't be fooled; these are not your typical eggrolls. They're GIRTHY! Inside you'll find a generous amount of meat filling and shredded veggies. Tea Leaf Salad - This was addictingly delicious! I usually skip salads, but this is a must try. The flavors and textures took me on a journey. Crispy, fresh, and delightful. The dressing wasn't overwhelmingly acidic either. Just right and won't give you a heartburn. Thai Tea - As an Asian, "not too sweet" is the highest compliment we can give. Chicken Satay - Chicken skewers with a peanut sauce. The spiciness creeps up on you. Truffle Parm Fries - The portion is enough to be shared with 3 or 4 people.

I stumbled upon this food truck on my way to the food event. The Lao burger was absolutely bomb! I really liked the texture and seasoning. The service was wholesome also. Highly recommend! I'll def come back again.

They offer a great menu and friendly service. If you are looking for a bite to eat, you can find them around town - typically in the Redwood City to Belmont areas. Check out their schedule to see where they are at! For those of you who need a caterer, or get catering for your office or host events on the Peninsula, I highly recommend you reach out to Thiri. She will partner with you to create a great event with a menu and service to fit your needs. Top notch service, great prices and food quality. IYKYK ;)

Tried their food truck pop up event and it seriously delivered. The double patty smash burger was juicy, packed with flavor, and had those perfect crispy edges with grilled onions on top. The truffle Parmesan fries were crispy, well-seasoned! Portion sizes were generous for the price, and the staff was really friendly and fast. Easily one of the best values I've had from a food truck. Can't wait to see more menu items in the future. Hope they pop up again soon!

Both food was service was amazing. I got my food pretty fast. My favorite is the coconut noodles soup and tea leaf salad. The Laos smash burger was fire and my son loves it! (I forgot to take a picture of it)

I would recommend looking up their instagram just in case this happens to you. The team was kind and patient as it was my first time there. I ordered the loaded fries with a patty and it was delicious. The burger patty was seasoned and juicy. The fries were crispy similar to In n Out fries. With the sauce they used for the fries, I feel like I got a burger and then some. For the price, that will probably be my go to order since it is more filling than one burger. Overall, good food and I will try again at the original location.

The wait still did take a little while. But without exaggeration, this was the best smash burger I've ever had! The patty had that perfect crisp on the outside from wing smashed, and the flavoring was amazing. The fries was also so good, I love the cut and crispiness along with the sauce. Pairing it with Fieldwork Brewery next door elevated the experience. Definitely coming back!

The restaurant was somewhat busy when we got there. We waited for a few minutes before the host came by and told us we have our pick of tables. Menus were already on the table when we sat down. Here's what we got: - Soprano chicken with salad (mine) - Outlaw burger with onion rings (his) The burgers were pretty tasty. My chicken burger wasn't dry and the salad that accompanied it was refreshing. Zach said he liked his burger and the onion rings. Service wasn't that memorable, no one checked in on us except towards the end when we asked to check out. It was fine since we noticed that more customers were coming in. If you're craving a solid burger place, Maverick Jack's got your back.

I ordered the Maverick classic burger with American cheese and a side salad. It tasted fresh and I finished all my food since I was pretty hungry. Like two hours later my stomach felt really sick like my intestines were twisting inside of me. The pain was excruciating and lasted for a couple of hours and all I could think of was maybe I got "food poisoning." Most likely the food poisoning came from the bad ground beef or cheese. Unfortunately, since it was my first time and the experience I received, I will not be returning to this restaurant. First impression is everything and this place didn't meet that expectation! To reply to the owners response not true. It does not take 8 hrs for someone to experience food poisoning. Before you reply to a customer comment, please do your research first! I've included in my pics below that food poisoning symptoms can be experienced within hours of eating bad food!

The pastrami was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor, layered generously in the sandwich. Every bite was rich and satisfying without feeling too heavy. We ordered: -Onion rings: Super crispy and the onion didn't fall out with each bite. The ranch also was very tasty! -the Reuben: Crispy bread that paired perfectly with the pastrami meat. The Swiss cheese added even more flavor to the sandwich. -Philly cheesesteak: PASS. The meat tasted super stinky and paired with the melted cheese made it even worse. Will not order this ever again. Overall, this place is ok for a quick lunch. They have a wide variety of beers which is nice. I'd only return if I was desperate for a pastrami sandwich in this specific area.
