Man-O-Man!! I had no idea they existed. I was looking for something good to eat while in Thomson Ga and noticed the parking lot was kinda full. As soon as I stepped inside the restaurant, you could smell how good the food must've been. The menu is diverse with plenty of options to choose from. The service was A-1 and family oriented. Good people! My kinda People! I'm beyond impressed by the establishment! In addition to Amazing food, they offer a nice happy hour list of drinks to choose from. I had the Peach Hennessy Margarita while I waited for my food. They only open Thursday thru Saturday or Sunday (I think), which is good considering it's towards the end of the week they offer live music & a DJ next to the restaurant. Surely gotta fan in me! I wish that I had taken a picture of our meals but we were so hungry by the time we stopped off our road trip. I had the lobster and shrimp, chose it all grilled vs fried. Sides of fries and collard greens. Hubby had grilled shrimp with beans and potato salad. The seasoning was very flavorful. Everything was done perfectly. We ate inside and the AC worked great, they had booths and tables to choose from. Everyone was so friendly and hospitable. I don't when we will be back in this area but I would definitely go back and try more food, or have the same thing again. I mean, it was delicious lobster tail and shrimp after-all. read more

This restaurant has a delicious, southern barbecue and the flavor can't be beat! Excellent customer services their Hallmark the ambience of the restaurant is very nice and enjoyable. Service was a little slow, but they don't have much in the way of staff either. They were very apologetic and I wasn't in a hurry. Checkout was an issue because their internet was spotty and were using Square to run cards. I would recommend having cash on hand just in case. The location was somewhat loud due to the TV's and fans blowing (would have been worse without them - heat, because Georgia). But let's talk about what you're really here for: the food? Absolutely ridiculous that a place of this caliber resides in Thomson. But it fits as the city is lovely, but this place is worth a drive by itself. The service was also amazing. We had it twice and had different things each time and everything was excellent. I am beyond thankful to have such a hidden fantastic gem in Thomson. We need more restaurants like this. I wasn't sure what to get but my son came home with the best lamb chops ever. I went out right then and got me a dinner of lamb chops, collards and Mac & cheese which all where off the chain. DEE & ANDRE really took care of me. Andre gave me a buttered roll to try on the house. Soooo good. This will be my new place to go. The flavor and seasoning in each dish was very welcoming to my palate. In addition the customer service was phenomenal. There was a short wait for ordering and food arrival. Great stop after hiking at Mistletoe State Park. I would call ahead to order. The food is made as you order I believe so it does take some time to serve. They have so so many wing flavors. My wife and I were passing thru town and wanted something off the highway besides fast food. We found this establishment and decided to give a local spot a try. VERY HAPPY with our decision. I had their famous fried ribs and they were excellent, including the flavorful sauce! My wife had a burger and then their popular red velvet cake which is absolutely delicious! Very good food for a great price and the service was excellent! I was leaving a wedding so they brought me an apron so I would not get sauce on my white shirt! So first of all I was super excited to try this place. On the road traveling I was looking forward to great food. The reviews are very misleading. If you have had great bbq you may reconsider this place. We came in around 7. They had a nice crowd but not overly busy. We waited 45 MINUTES before I asked how much longer and once I did ask the lady serving us gave me attitude and went on and on about them being super busy and that's why she "warned" us before we sat down, blah, blah,blah. Mind you she NEVER warned us or we would have left being that we still had an almost 7 hour drive to still go till we were home. After she went on and on about how busy they were I nicely explained that my question was to how much longer. Her response, "I dont know I will have to ask". That is when TWO of the cooks come back to us and ask us what our order was in the first place... so finally we get our food and it was beyond bland. The ribs were under seasoned, bbq was boring and runny. Now the collard greens and mac and cheese were great but I still am not impressed by this place.
