If you see this in the restaurant, you know you are in the right place!

This restaurant has a delicious, southern barbecue and the flavor can't be beat! Excellent customer services their Hallmark the ambience of the restaurant is very nice and enjoyable. There is a family vibe with flatscreen televisions and the aroma is awesome! Come here if you have never tried it.

That is a chicken wing. I got ten of these.

I think the picture of my wings says it all. I'm guessing the chickens are midget chickens that have been exposed to a nuclear reactor leak.

This was my second time here. I went once at lunch and this time at dinner. Serve was great both times. The food came out hot, like they just cooked the Mac n cheese and greens. The owner was very nice, came out and greeted everyone.

Food is fabulous! We had never been here before and found this while driving from Columbia back to Ga. So glad we stopped in . Dionne our server was amazing and had lots of suggestions. We tried the fried pulled pork sandwich which was wonderful. My husband had the fried ribs with greens and potato salad. Every thing was delicious. The portions are huge , you could easily share. I would definitely recommend!

I am beyond thankful to have such a hidden fantastic gem in Thomson. We need more restaurants like this. I wasn't sure what to get but my son came home with the best lamb chops ever. I went out right then and got me a dinner of lamb chops, collards and Mac & cheese which all where off the chain. DEE & ANDRE really took care of me. Andre gave me a buttered roll to try on the house. Soooo good. This will be my new place to go. It's hard to find good food especially lamb chops that don't taste gamy and is prepared so juicy and tender. Give this place a try. Awesome!

I really enjoyed myself this Sunday afternoon. The food and service at this establishment was exceptional. I tried a variety of things on the menu starting with the Miami Heat wings, baked beans, collard greens, mac n cheese, and potato salad. The flavor and seasoning in each dish was very welcoming to my palate. In addition the customer service was phenomenal. There was a short wait for ordering and food arrival. Everything was very clean and disposable carry out, cups and silverware utilized. In addition, to being checked on periodically. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner and his family at the restaurant. The are as pleasurable as the food. This is one of the best black-owned small businesses that I have visited.

Great stop after hiking at Mistletoe State Park. I would call ahead to order. The food is made as you order I believe so it does take some time to serve. They have so so many wing flavors. The Miami heat was super yummy as was the jerk chicken. This place also has the cheesiest Mac and cheese. Super delicious.

I post the exact following in quote on my facebook as well as Instagram, a sign of how much I enjoyed. '@pigg_ah_boo_southern_flava_bbq Pigg-Ah-Boo's twice today cause it's just that damn good. This time it's the Fried Pork Ribs and oh my dear dear sweet baby easter bunny is it good. BTW, Customer service matches the food! My life, On the road, Living in a van, and LOVING it!' why not 5 stars? I was in about 20 minutes after they opened and they did not have the mac n cheese ready or unsweet ice tea. should be prepared for entire advertised menu at opening. That saying, the customer service and quality of food got me back for dinner and I will be back any and everytime I'm in town. Super impressive

Miami heat wings. These are big, crunchy, sticky & juicy! This sauce is fire! The consistency on the wings is everything!

The entire staff was most welcoming, the generous portions of real southern cooking was absolutely delicious, the service was spot on, the price was extremely reasonable. Every one of the 18 of us enjoyed our lunch. What an amazing little gem in Wrens, Ga. When our paths cross again we will certainly stop here.

Best kept secret down this stretch of the South might just be Peggy's fried chicken…read more Now, a great many places have the confidence to fry a bird. That is not the same as knowing what they're doing. Plenty can make chicken hot. Fewer can make it memorable. Peggy's managed the rarer thing. This was the kind of fried chicken that makes a man quiet for a minute and reconsider whether he has properly valued his past blessings. They had other meats on the menu, and I do not doubt they were prepared by decent people with honest intentions, but ordering anything besides the fried chicken would have felt like showing up at a revival and asking for directions to a yoga class. And the sides, Lord help me, the sides were no afterthought. If I had not attended the funerals myself, I might have suspected my great grandma, grandma, and momma were back there in the kitchen, keeping an eye on the pots. Forgive me, Mammaw G, Mammaw, and Mom, but Peggy's had the better day with that chicken. I say that with love, respect, and a willingness to dodge a lightning bolt if one has been set aside for me. Fried okra, green beans, sweet potatoes, and mac and cheese, which any Southerner with good sense knows is a vegetable when it needs to be, spread across our plates like a family reunion of the righteous. The only medical advisory I'd offer is this: if your doctor has warned you against coating your insides with salt, you may want to admire from a respectful distance. And the sweet tea was right. Not tea-flavored water with ambition. Sweet tea. Properly made. The sort that lets you know nobody in the building is interested in modern nonsense. Next time I'm rolling down I-20, I may well make the turn toward Wrens again just to see whether Peggy's can do it twice. But judging by the regulars, the handshakes, the easy way the staff knew folks by name, and the fact they made us feel halfway local ourselves, I'd say this was no one-off. This felt less like a lucky meal and more like the kind of place that still believes doing something well is reason enough to keep doing it.

If you've never been there, they will start you out with samples of all of their lemonade (which all of them are incredibly flavorful) and you'll inevitably get one because it's THAT good. The staff comes with recommendations to help you navigate the menu and they are so attentive and helpful. I'd go as far to say that they had some of the best service in Augusta. Now to the food, 10/10 I could not recommend them enough. I've had the honey lemon pepper wings and the loyalty platter. And it was so good. The honey lemon pepper wings were full of deep flavor and they give you at-least 10 wings with the plate. The steak and shrimp are the best seasoned meats I've ever had at a restaurant. I've also had a few nibbles of their seafood and ‍. Then when you're ready for dessert, don't worry you get samples too. The blue velvet is my favorite but all of them are award winning so you can't go wrong when it comes to Nattas sweet treats. Over all, great experience, great people, and great place. Get out and support local, it'll never disappoint. P.S. if you think it's pricey, you're wrong. You get what you pay for here. You get no less than two meals out of one plate.

The portion sizes are generous and very tasty. I made a Southern Palmer with their Peach Tea and Unsweetened Ice Tea 1/2 & 1/2 of both mixed together, was the perfect beverage to pair with the Honor Platter. I finished the honorable meal with The Strawberry Velvet Cake Brownie & Red Velvet Brownie dessert pairing. The service from when I stepped in, while eating and leaving was exceptional, inviting and very pleasant. Shurell was fabulous, vibrant and a fresh of breath air. I highly recommend Kitchen Kings x Natta's Sweet Bakery to discover Augusta's Hidden Gem off Gordon Hwy. The Ambiance was the perfect R&B Vibe for a casual, sexy Saturday.
