So I thought the macarons from Ladurée were good, the macarons here were better. It's hard to explain, but the shell of the macarons here were different in a way, but in a good way. Just take my word for it, haha!! Btw, I found out this place has a shop in New York City that sells them. If you are ever there in New York City, find this shop and indulge.

First time I had these macarons were this brand more than a decade ago. The lines don't lie. Well worth the wait. They are in fact the best ones in Paris. I tried black truffle and foie gras ones on this visit. La Duree costs more but these ones taste better.

Pierre Hermé makes the best macarons I've ever tasted! Don't even bother with Ladurée. Even though we bought them later in the day, the quality was still top-notch! However I would recommend going to an actual Pierre Hermé store (which will have more options), not the one inside Galeries Lafayette. The one inside Galeries Lafayette is just a macaron counter. There were quite a few people in line buying them and the girls working there were very helpful in explaining the different flavors. We opted for 4 macarons (totaling €8 I believe). We got Rose, Letchi & Framboise (rose, litchi & raspberry), Caramel au Beurre Salé (salted butter caramel), Pistache (pistachio), and Cassis & Confit de Cassis (black currant & candied black currant). The quality is outstanding. First bite, and you can tell the texture is perfect, light and airy, melt-in-your-mouth, yet retains that slight crunch when initially breaking into the macaron shell. Pierre Hermé transcends their menu with fantastic and unique flavor pairings that reignite your love for macarons!

Wonderful selection of macaron flavors. The chocolate is classic but I loved the black sesame and the yuzu ones most

Hands down one of the best macarons I've ever eaten. They are so soft yet crunch and the flavors are ever changing. There is a variety of flavors to pick from. My favorite of all time is the pistachio and Strawberry one. It the perfect blend of flavor and taste. You can order from one to a whole tin full of macarons. I ordered a small box of four. I didn't have to buy the souvenir tin they just put it in a paper box. I recommend eating them sooner than later.

Great macarons: YES. Best macarons in the world? I don't know about that. Would I get the macarons again: maybe. Priced at 2,10 € each, the macarons are pretty, and most importantly, tasty! Infiniment rose (rose & petales de rose): rose & rose petals. Nicely perfumed, this pink macaron really tastes like rose. Plaisir sucre (chocolat au lait & praline feuillete): milk chocolate and praline. Pretty good because I like praline. Arabesque (abricot & pistaches croustillantes): apricot & crispy pistachio nuts. My least favorite macaron from all of them. The apricot is bitter and overshadows the pistachio flavor. Mogador: milk chocolate & passion fruit: surprisingly not too tart and it has pieces of passion fruit. This particular Pierre Hermé is a counter located at the famous Galleries Lafayette Hausmann. There line wasn't too long, but there were many tourists buying a lot of macarons. 4 stars!! Pierre Hermé is yummylicious!!

    6 macaroons for 12 euros.

Best macaroons in the world? I believe it!! We happened to see this location while shopping so took advantage. I had originally planned on going to another location then I learned that there are actually over 20 locations all over the city so there is a big chance you will see it. Although expensive, it was so worth it. The flavors are so rich and so authentic... For example we had a "mint" flavor and it was not an American Mint and chip type of Mint but a real mint herb flavor... I could've sworn I was eating a fresh mint cream. I have no idea how they did that. There was also a licorice and violet flavor that I found very interesting and complex, and very very good. This just pushes out any memory of any other macaroon I've ever had and now will forever be in my food bank memory...

Omg!!! The macarons here was delicious and every macaron was so flavorful and unique. I really liked the mint macaron. It had a distinct mint flavor and the mint tasted fresh. The other ones were delicious too. I would recommend this place if you're craving macarons.

Ran into this shop on accident as we were looking for another shop in this gallery. We had lunch and opted to buy macarons home for souvenirs. 18 euros for a box of 7 is a bit pricey but I definitely didn't want to miss out on one of the best macarons in Paris! They were tiny and soft but had the perfect amount of crisp inside. Not too sweet but perfect enough to go with a cup of tea! My mom loved it when I came home with the lychee one. Definitely a macaron stop to be made!

Stopped and picked up some Macaroons. This was in the list for the best in Paris and I was disappointed. The flavors of the macaroons here are just to many mixtures for.

THE FOOD ------------------…read more+ THEEEEEE gold standard for macarons in Paris ... or anywhere for that matter. + Macarons here are a little crisp, a little pillowy softness and a whollllllle bunch of flavor. - It cost a pretty penny (about 3 Euros for 1 piece), but you won't regret it for a second when you bite into one of these addictively delicious treats. THE SERVICE ----------------------- + All class, top notch white glove service - literally - they handle the macarons with much care like it were gold! THE SURROUNDINGS ------------------------------------ + Located in the heart of the Champs-Élysées on Rue Lincoln, so, YES, it is busy like rush hour outside ... and inside. + There are 2 sides to this massive flagship location - you can either make a purchase of macarons at their store OR dine/sit down in their tea house. Both have lines to wait on, but making a purchase only takes about 10 minutes on a weekend, while dining in looks like an unimaginable wait! + The store to make a macaron purchase at has 3 tables to sit around to enjoy your purchase of delicious macarons. You MUST catch someone about to leave (like we did) in order to snag a table. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS ------------------------------------------- = Expect waits on a weekend afternoon, especially to sit down in the tea room. If you just make a store purchase, it's only about a 10 minute wait ... and you'll be thanking your legs for that. = It's a tourist destination in itself, so expect LOTS of people taking photos of this location. CONCLUSION ----------------------- = Yes, I'm from the tri-state area and they've had a Laduree in NYC since 2011, but there's alwayyyyys something special about going to one of the originals and this spot is no different.

We were greeted warmly by pleasant staff & the gentleman helping us gave samples of small coconut cookies (I believe they were macaroons.) The prominently-displayed madeleines caught my eye, mainly the raspberry filled (2,70 €) with a bit of jam peeking through, as well as the pistachio flavor (2,20 €) with its unmistakeable green hue. The shell-shaped cakes were sweet & spongy, as to be expected, but not markedly special. A passable pick-me-up while we strolled hilly Montmartre, but after one try, I'm not in a rush to return.

I couldn't resist getting a bag of the almond cookies for the road, and I later discovered that these tasted just like marzipan candy. While located in a touristy shopping area, Biscuiterie de Montmartre felt charming and stood out for their selection of high-quality cookies and sweets that are perfect for gifting.

This location is one of many mouth-watering stands inside of the Galeries Lafayette food hall. Their glass cases are full of bright and colorful, beautiful pastries and sweets to swoon over as you decide what to order. From macarons to cakes to chocolates, there's a variety to choose from! I already knew that I wanted to try their macarons; I ordered the matcha, hojicha, and black sesame, while the boyfriend ordered the genmaicha and wasabi. The flavors were outstanding for each one! I was pleasantly surprised at how perfectly the matcha and black sesame flavors especially came through in macaron form. I also ordered a small pot of their yuzu sorbet, which was refreshing and delicious! Again, the yuzu flavor translated very well into sorbet form. My only wish was that the container was bigger... Prices were as expected - 1,80€ per macaron and 3,00€ for the sorbet cup - but as rare unique treats, I felt that they were worth the cost to try! It's also a bit less than the big bakeries such as Laduree. Can't wait until the next time I have the chance to stop by a Sadaharu Aoki to indulge in other new desserts!
