I didn't want to go back to the place I got pierced at so I figured I ask here since it's where I buy my body jewelry. I walk in and gave the worker there a full description of what was going on. They inspected my ear and walked me over to the titanium hoops. I did not know what the material was in my original piercing but they explained why this will be a better material and should help. They gave me a lot of information about why the chose the material and the size of the hoop which I appreciated and trusted. They told me to continue the cleaning methodsI have been doing in the area and it should start feeling better soon. I came home, washed the hoop with soap at water as directed, and it already felt better within 15 minutes. Since then, there has been no irritation-- none of the redness, itchiness, throbbing, sensitivity, or heat that I was feeling before. I didn't catch their name but my receipt says Phoenix so I hope I'm giving recognition to who helped me. Either way, the service was great! I have never gotten pierced here but everytime I go in here for questions or to buy more jewelry, the workers are very helpful and knowledgeable.

I arrived shortly after their posted opening time, only to find a note saying they'd be back later. When I called, I learned the piercer wouldn't arrive until 1pm due to a personal commitment. I gave grace and returned. The piercing itself was quick, with some small talk about Seattle, and I mentioned that I hadn't been pierced in 20+ years due to keloiding, so I was nervous and wanted to make sure things were done carefully. I paid, received a basic aftercare sheet, and headed home. Later that evening, the front of my flat-back earring fell out and the back was hanging loosely. I eventually managed to get the flat back post in the front just to keep the piercing from closing and I called about 8p after closing and left a message for guidance but never received a call back. A different piercer at a jewelry shop explained that flat-back earrings require a slight bend in the post for tension -- something that hadn't been done. It was an easy fix, but disappointing that it was missed, especially since piercings need weeks to heal. There's clearly a lot of history behind this business, but my experience didn't reflect the level of professionalism and follow-up I expected for a $100 service. I personally prefer to go somewhere with more consistency in both technique and aftercare communication.

I took my ten year old to get her ears pierced here. The woman who began our piercing seemed very…read morenice and knowledgeable. The trouble happened when my daughter agreed to have her ears pierced at the same time by two different piercers. The original piercer did a great job on the right ear, but the assistant who did the piercing on her left ear did it so poorly that she nearly missed her ear lobe all together (see the little red dot on the photo I attached). It was at such a drastic angle, that I didn't notice until we got home due to the overall weekend chaos in the store. They would not re-pierce it for over 48 hours, and no other piercer had the correct earring, so I just did it myself with a sterilized amazon kit. After rewatching the video, I noticed that the woman we were working with seemed to notice that it was at an angle and fussed with it a bit, but said nothing. It was mildly traumatic for a sensitive ten year old. Go to a real piercer.
