I've had past piercings at another BJP location and had a good experience, so we came to this one as it was close for both of us. We made an appointment ahead of time which was easy to schedule over the phone. We had to sign some paperwork and pay first and then we were taken back to the piercing room. I forget the name of the girl who pierced us but she was nice and pretty informative. BJP gets a bad reputation for not being a "real" tattoo/piercing shop so I will say I was a little nervous (even though I've had stuff done here before) but I feel like she did a great job. I have gone here for 5 of my piercings and they all healed perfectly. The piercers were very friendly and welcoming which I appreciated because I went with my anxious friend to get piercings done together and they somehow calmed her nerves every time. I will say it's a bit on the expensive side when compared to most other shops (my tragus was 90$). So if you have a low budget I'd say don't get here but if you have the money it's worth it for the good experience. read more

After all, it was a great day! The experience was everything I thought it would be. The girls at the front ignored us and when they finally noticed us, they were unfriendly and barely helpful. The guy that did the piercing was fine but we didn't even get proper post-piercing instructions. If you're considering...just DON'T. If I could give 0 stars I would, not only did they completely ruin my belly button piercing, their customer service was absolutely terrible. I got several other opinions about the placement of my piercing and was told it was horrible and go back. When I first called, they agreed to do a refund if they removed the jewelry, when I showed up , they all ganged up on me and refused a refund and LAUGHED at me. Including the main manager. I was in so much pain and insisted they take out the piercing. Not only did they mess up bad, they refused to make it right. I have gotten two piercings here an industrial and a conch, my whole ear turned green and the place replaced it with an even cheaper piercing saying it would fix the issue but it got worse. Came into this store on a Sunday afternoon super excited to get an ear pierced. I had been looking forward to this for a long time now. Finally I had time to go and get this done and this shop is close to home. When I walked in two of the employees were assisting someone at the checkout. I thought "okay, cool they have employees here today". I walk in and was not greeted by any of them. Sooo I did what most people do and kept looking at the earrings to pick what I would want ahead of time. I was also hoping to replace a few other earrings and a nose ring. I patiently waited for about 5 minutes. Now I know that doesn't sound like a long time but when you're just standing around it's a long time. Not once did they even acknowledge that I was in their store. I was super disappointed and walked out. I was really hoping this place would be my new spot to get my piercings. Harley is probably the coolest tattoo artist I've ever had. Not only is he the coolest tattoo artist ever, but just an all around good guy. Honestly his tattoo work is phenomenal. I have an Angel of Death tattoo from him that is absolutely phenomenal. His attention to detail is second to none. The way he tattoos is incredibly gentle and the work I have from him has healed incredibly fast. He is always attentive to exactly what you want done. If I could give more stars to him I would. Hands down if you choose him as your artist it will be the best decision of your life. As far as the other staff goes, they are incredibly nice and helpful. i Just Got mt second Tattoo. The first one i had was not a good exoerience. So i knew i wanted to find a new location. A feww ppl told me the've been happy with the tattoos theyve gotten at the auburn mall. Even tho its only day 3 after it is beautyful and im working hard to do The after care as instructed. I shiwed it to two of the managment where i live and they liked my tat sooooo much and said the letterings really nice. They ask where and the name of the artist. Id gotten a few of her cards and gave her one. I really hope when she gets a new tattoo shell go to Samanta. It will be awhi,e but the next tat i get will be dine only by her.. Oh, And i sooo much like the atmosphere at the Bidy Jewlery Plus business. I recommend this to anyone who needs a tattoo. I went to Body Jewelry Plus and honestly didn't know what to expect, I was getting my ears re-pierced and my nose pierced. I was greeted kindly at the front desk and they answered all my questions I had, Kayla did my piercings and was very kind. I admit I was quite nervous, however she calmed me down and let me know all the answers to my questions. My ears were straight and my nose was very well done. I got a small pull off nose piercing, after a week the gem in my nose popped out, I got worried thinking there was nothing I could do about it, I went back to the shop and they said that since it was a pop off they could change it out for me. Kayla was very kind and admitted she was new to the piercing but I understand it wasn't her fault, she changed it out for free and I was in and out within 10 minutes. 10/10 recommend Kayla as a piercer read more

Okay, I feel really bad about writing a negative review because, in all honesty, I had a great time when I went here. The people were nice and understanding, especially since this was my first time getting a piercing that wasn't in my lobes (I got a regular cartilage piercing in my left ear), and because I was a minor and took a while to pull up the document to prove my age and confirm my mom was my legal guardian. So, again, the people were really nice! But then I actually got my piercing. I had wanted a hoop instead of a stud, and since I had only done research on piercing aftercare, I hadn't realized that I shouldn't want a hoop for my initial piercing. However, due to what the woman at the counter said, it was my understanding that they didn't have the right tools to put in a hoop, so I asked for a normal metal stud instead. I told the piercer that I would go with the metal stud, and he started to get everything ready. My mom mentioned to him that I had wanted a hoop, and he said that he could do that (completely contradicting the lady at the counter. Who was, again, really nice). Anyways, he explained that the healing process of a hoop would be longer and more painful than with a stud, but that if I was willing to go through that, he would use the hoop instead. I agreed. I hadn't realized that you shouldn't use a hoop AT ALL until the piercing is fully healed, and I really wish that the piercer hadn't given me the hoop. I've spoken to another piercer, and she says that he shouldn't have even considered giving me a hoop, but I guess it's my fault too for not doing proper research beforehand. Then comes the process of piercing my ear. It was all going smoothly and relatively painlessly (you know, as painlessly as a chunk of metal entering your body can be), until he tried putting the ring into the piercing. He wasn't able to close it at all. He struggled, and struggled, and messed with my ear, and eventually broke the ring. Turns out he hadn't even grabbed the right type of ring and thats why he couldn't close it! Eventually he grabbed the "right" one and it went in, but this whole ordeal was longer than it had to be because of things that I feel like he should've been paying attention to. He then hands me the piece of paper containing aftercare info, and just says goodbye, not further explaining to me how exactly to care for a piercing. That last point might be a little nit picky, but when my mom got her nose pierced, the piercer spent some time explaining aftercare to her before she left. Anyways, flash forward a week to yesterday. I began suspecting an infection because of increased redness and in how swollen my ear was. I went to the doctor, and sure enough, she thought it was infected and gave me a prescription of antibiotics. Now, this probably was just me not taking good care of my piercing, so I won't blame the shop for my infection. However, this leads me to my next complaint. I wanted tips on how to better care for my infected piercing, so I messaged another piercer to ask about it. She asked to see an image of my piercing and she explained to me how she would care for it if she were in my shoes, but she also explained the fact that the ring he put in wasn't appropriate. She told me that 1. He shouldn't have put a hoop in the first place (something I'm sure we're all aware of by this point in my review) and 2. The hoop was too thin, and it would be nearly impossible to find a stud to fit in that piercing! Anyways, it seems that everything about my piercing itself was wrong and should've been done differently, and I'm beginning to regret going to this place. However, I still give them a 2 because my mom actually got her nose piercing here a year and a half ago, just by a different piercer, and it apparently went really well. read more

Samantha has been awesome with me and the long process it has been taking to get my tattoo finished. I have autoimmune diseases and arthritis making it more painful then i ever remember it being, plus i stupidly had a person who is a wanna be artist do a little work on me and he not only went in right away with a huge needle, but he went way deeper into my skin then he should have ever gone causing a ton of scar tissue, (This is the place im trying to cover). I have had to have her work on me several different times meaning i have had to come in several different times where we work for a while and she has to stop for a bit, because it gets to be too intense. She has explained the process all along the way, told me what to expect and why i should expect it. Like i said she seem's to understand that it is a long painful process for me and get's why it is taking as long as it is. I couldn't ask for a better artist to work on my new tattoo. My daughter and I went here, at first I thought hmmmm tongue piercing in the mall but ok u do have to licensed. So we went in, both set to get tongues pierced...which I HAVE done before. First I get mine done...she sets the bottom so far back that it's pushed into the back of my tongue...i mention this to her and she says well u did say it could be further vack....NO I SAID THE TOP didn't have to be in the same spot as before! Anyhow...i said it's very uncomfortable as it is hitting that's little flap of skin under the tongue that stretches as u stick ur tongue out...and she says well if it still bothers u in a week or two u can get it re-done...yeah more pain n swelling thanks. Mind u the guy who did my first one...not an OUNCE of pain..even the piercing itself. So then my daughter goes to get hers done, her eyes tear up...like when u get punched in the nose or something. The piercer says wow never had anyone CRY on a tongue piercing. Smh not very CUSTOMER FRIENDLY. Very impersonal. So I call after a week of this barbell being placed badly....the back of my tongue has serious pressure and pain, my throat is hurting my ears r being affected but I see no infection so this is good I suppose. A FRONT COUNTER person answers, I ask for the piercer, she says oh she gets off at 8:30, I said well its 8:24, that gives me 6 minutes, she said well she is on her way out soon, I said I got my tongue pierced there last week and I'm having issues...she told me to call if so...i need to talk to her. Well she is gone now she just walked out the door. Lmao....r u kidding me. Very rude, very unprofessional, I will never go there or recommend this place to anyone. I usually don't leave review reviews but this place I straight insanitary. I saw the guy at the counter drop a bunch of jewelry and sweep it up and put it back in the display. I ask if they were going to sanitize my jewelry and she just rubbed it with purrell or something....if you know anything about body piercing you autoclave to sanitize, that's why the jewelry is made with surgical steel. On top of that the piercer was rude and judgey to me because I don't look like the type to get piercings. Just say no. Someone will get an infection!!! read more

So I got the industrial in my ear from Body Jewelry Plus at the outlet collection, and it got infected bad. Thanks to Adorn, I now know why. BJP messed up the angles, used one needle, the peircing isn't straight, and the bar was WAY too big. Which caused it to keep bumping things and getting tangled in m y hair. Which hurt like hell. So the only way it will heal is to take it out. The piercing was $80, and for that price they should've known what they were doing. I have to wait two months for it to heal before I can get it done elsewhere. The first thing he said was that is not good. And emu oil wouldn't help. Because BJP thought it was a keliod and it wasn't; it was an infection from peircing it wrong. After I took it out, my ear felt a lot better and even looked better! Due to their angles, it caused to much pressure on my ear. Causing the infection in which wouldn't heal. They also didn't give me a copy of the form that I signed which is illegal. In Washington state any form you sign they are legally supposed to give you a copy. read more

I love this place, and although I visit the Southcenter one more out of convenience, this location in SUPERMALL seems ten times more knowledgable about their products. I came in and needed a new septum ring and wasn't sure what size my original one was pierced at and was also indecisive on what to get, but the guy that helped me was super friendly and SUPER knowledgable.
