I have been seeing Joy for a couple years now and while I always say there is no such thing as perfect, Joy will make sure her work always goes above and beyond your expectations and you leave with not just a nice Power Nap but with that renewed positive vibe knowing your lashes are on point all over again - no complaints ever. She is rightfully fierce and passionate about her work and hands down would never trust anyone else again with my lashes and even my brows which are still perfectly in tact today a few years later. I've had three appointments with Joy so far & let's just say I will definitely be booking many more with her! I came to Joy with classic eyelash extensions that did not retain well, and she has blown me away with her work. My fills stay on for so long, and I really appreciate her patience with me as a newer client trying to figure out what style looks best on me. I've gotten both classic and volume fills, both were gorgeous and the retention was amazing. I needed extensions that would last for at least two weeks at a time because of my busy work schedule and I love just getting to wake up with pretty eyelashes! I completely missed it and felt terrible about it because there are some questions and information you need to know. The location is super clean and neat very open and bright room. Loved the music she was playing honestly a vibe. I have SUPER straight thick eyelashes so I know joy put in the work to curl these babies. Joy is an amazing artist that is definitely reflective in her work. Detail oriented and a perfectionist, she takes her time in creating lash fills that are beautifully symmetrical. The type of lash extensions she uses are extremely lightweight and almost feels like they are non-existent. In addition to seeing her for mixed lashes, she has also done my powder brows, (and no surprise) I am extremely happy with the results. If there is a post for a -10 that is what Joy would get from me! Lashes were so uneven, I had to remove them myself,, within 8 hours of application with boiling coconut oil, as I could not reach her. Her excuse was because she had been on a plane all day!! After I sent pictures to all of my friends of my new lashes, they all said OMG are you going to ask for a refund? They look horrifying!! And they definitely did and were so uneven, besides the fact that the glue and fumes had burnt my eyes so badly that I coudnt even see clearly for a couple of days! If I was you, I would definitely choose a true artist, not somebody that portrays them self to be one!!! In a dispute right now trying to get my money back and of course she is fighting me on it.
