My nipple piercings turned out beautifully all those years ago, and since then I've gotten a double nostril and a conch done as well. super great place! i got my tongue pierced here and it was honestly as easy as a tongue piercing could possibly be. annie is super sweet and quick with it. you can tell she has experience and it made me feel a lot better. the price is pretty good for such high quality, and i am definitely going to come here for all my piercing needs! the only bad thing is there isn't much parking in the parking lot, so go early in case you need to park across the street. read more

Good options for jewelry and the guy who does the piercings is great, but the prices are absurdly high and the manager woman is a nightmare. Very unkind - asked me to use hand sanitizer when I wasn't even getting a piercing just buying jewelry? $20 just to get jewelry inserted even after paying over $60 just for the jewelry itself. They also charge you for the front and back piece separately. Felt like nickel and diming. Came here years ago for a piercing and it was the exact experience. Wouldn't recommend! I got my ears pierced the first time as a kid, and I thought that my holes would never close. But a few years of not having to go into work, not really motivated to wear earrings, then the one time I tried to put them in, and they wouldn't go through! I still have tons of earrings, so I figured it's worth it to get them re-pierced. I did a little research and realized that it was not a great idea to go to the shop at the mall where they used a gun, so I looked at local piercing places. Pierced Out came up as highly recommended, and I used their online tool to book an appointment. They have a huge selection of earrings, and the woman who worked behind the counter was able to explain how they work and what they were made of. Erik, who did my piercing, let me know that this was a "stretching" because the hole was already there in the lobes, just had closed up in the back. Everything is very clean and sterile, and I felt like it was a really professional experience! Erik let me know that I need to leave these earrings in for about a year to make sure the hole doesn't close again. read more

I used to come to this shop a lot when I was in my early 20s! It had been a while but I stopped in today to see if they could take a look at a piercing I got done elsewhere. I was happy to find out Annie still works here! She is absolutely phenomenal! She's kind, patient, knowledgeable, and professional. She's willing to answer any questions you have with honesty and suggestions if needed. She was quick and efficient in her assessment of my piercing and reassured me it was healing/looking good and gave me suggestions to help my healing process become a better one based on what I was experiencing. I had such an amazing experience at Pierced Out, and I can't say enough good things about Erik the piercer! I went in to get my nostril and cartilage piercings removed, and honestly, Erik made it the most comfortable and stress-free experience ever. This place is the only place to get pierced! I'm a returning customer. My 10-year-old got her first piercings two years ago, and we returned today for her doubles. Safety is their top priority. They clearly communicate their rules and protocols, ensuring everyone is happy with the outcome. This is especially important when it comes to kids. They treat young people with respect and give them the chance to truly own their decision to get pierced and take care of their bodies after. Worst experience of my life. I paid $120 for a piercing and an earring. A month later, I decided it was time to change the earring, but no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't remove it. Desperate, I went back to the same salon to ask for help. They told me it would cost $20. $20 just to remove an earring they themselves put in?! Are you serious? This is the greediest salon I've ever been to. I'm now convinced they tightened the earring on purpose so I wouldn't be able to remove it on my own. I will never return to this salon and do not recommend it to anyone. Greedy people. read more

It's taken me a bit to do this, but don't go I Spent nearly 800.00 here and it was a terrible experience in the end. Don't go buy jewelry here, in the end they only care about the sale not the quality of service or your ears. Initially I went in for a jewelry change, and decided I wanted to switch up a few pierces. I picked out a few studs and a chain and got everything put in. Within 10-15 mins of leaving and driving home one falls out. Keep in mind home is a hour away too. I Had to go back two times after my initial visit mind you. Nevertheless, I go back another hour drive to go get the one that fell out fixed. I also realized one bar was way too long from the look I wanted. I tell the piercer and they tighten the one that fell out which they didn't do the first visit, and tell me the bar can't be changed and thought that I needed space for that area. I end up buying a shorter because I don't like the hanging of the bar and change the long one to a different spot. I go home and end up having to come back again because she didn't squeeze the back of another earring that the chain was connected too amd the chain was hanging out. Needless to say, this is now when it gets really bad. While driving home again I start feeling pain in my ear. I think maybe it's because it's just been messed with. Next day I wake up and the points from the jewelry are now digging into the flesh of my ear. I ended up going to another shop because I was so upset how many times I had to go to this shop to only be let down by the service repeatedly in days. Anyhow, the shop I went to said the stud put in was way to short for the area and all the points had dug into my ear. They had to really work to get it off this time, and were disappointed a fellow piercing professional would not think to put a better sized piece in the spot. Especially with the chain underneath. When thought about I realized and came to the conclusion they really didn't care and contradicted what they told me about the long bar. Really they just cared about the jewelry sale not what sizes should be used correctly. Very upsetting and will never go here again nor recommend here. Also, the new shorter bar, was also not tightened correctly, lost that a few days after. So really wasted a lot of money for terrible customer service!!! read more

Pierced Out? More like Pierced Off. I've now been here enough times to consider it my go-to piercing place (Eric is great, which is why my 2018 review was so positive), but no more. Back in August 2024, I got an earlobe piercing that decided it loved me so much it tried to merge with my flesh--twice within 10 months. When Annie fished it out of my earlobe both times, she informed me (without irony) that the post was the wrong size. Oh, and second time round it had been inserted back to front. Fun fact: she was the one who installed it. No apology, no ownership, just a fresh bill for the privilege of having my earlobe excavated. Fast forward to my latest appointment to get it fixed--again--and I decided to get a new helix piercing while I was there. Big mistake. Huge. Annie didn't bother double-checking which jewelry was supposed to go where, despite me clarifying that I had two different pieces. But hey, why pay attention when you can just shove a needle in and be done with it? Speaking of which, Annie radiates the energy of someone who genuinely dislikes humans, which I guess makes sense if your chosen job is sticking sharp things in them all day. Aftercare instructions? A leaflet shoved at me like a parking ticket. Helix piercings need slightly different care than earlobes, and this was my first, but telling me that might involve more unwanted interaction. The front desk experience was equally uninspired. The staffer who showed me jewelry didn't mention prices--because why would you want to know how much you're about to spend?--and you only discover the damage to your wallet when you're already at the register. To be fair, the woman on the cash desk was polite and seemed marginally glad to be alive. But that was the high point of the whole experience. If you're in the market for a piercing--and a healthy dose of passive-aggressive disdain--Pierced Out has you covered. Just don't expect any warmth, accountability, or basic professionalism. Bring your own measuring tape, your own aftercare research, and maybe a therapist to process your regret. read more

Came here on a Saturday afternoon to have my lobes pierced (stacked). Docking a star because I had an appointment and wasn't taken back until about an hour after my appointment time. I will say though, the staff are great! They're helpful and answered all my questions. The master piercer, Erik, is great as well! He's patient and honestly because of his 30+ years of experience, it didn't hurt as much as other places I've been. It really didn't hurt per se but any piercing is going to be a bit uncomfortable. The pain goes away as soon as the jewelry is in though. I'm planning to switch out my lower studs with tiny hoops. I can't wait to see how it looks but I'm happy with the results! read more

Shoutout to Erik Dakota! I've been coming here for two years, but he's the only piercer I've requested. Not only is he friendly and professional, he is an encyclopedia of piercing knowledge. He's helped me with a keloid that I developed from a cartilage piercing from a previous salon, suggested new piercings based on my ear shape, walked me through caring for an infection that I developed on an eyebrow piercing, etc. He answers all of my many questions whenever I visit. He casually uses jargon about the chemical composition between your skin and piercings. Dude knows his stuff. I've found the jewelry to be top-notch. I've been to other cheaper places, but the piercings would eventually fall out, and I'd have to get them replaced. All of the jewelry I've gotten at Pierced Out have stayed secure, especially since they offer jewelry with captive beads. The experience at reception and pay-out is always professional and easy.
