Tried their $5 piercing sale, but since they charge jewelry, it would have been cheaper to get piercings done at Players Ink (which is free jewelry). My friend got her lobes done here, so they charged her the jewelry on each lobe. If she had her lobes done elsewhere, it would have been half the price. Pokt Piercing uses surgical grade jewelry, while I don't think Players Ink does. But since I did not like Pokt's selection of cheaper jewelry, I would have had a better deal elsewhere. Though, they have a beautiful gold selection. If you're planning the treat yourself from the get go, then this is a beautiful deal! The aesthetics of this place is maximalist-pink-and-sanrio-core. Before the piercing procedure even happened she gave knowledgable advice to my two friends who hadn't downsized their piercings and why it was important to do so. BEWARE BEFORE BOOKING! I got my nose piercing here with three friends, and all of us ended up with infections. The pricing is outrageous--we paid $65 for the piercing, including jewelry, which the piercer claimed was titanium. However, when I had to get it checked at another shop due to the infection, they told me it was actually stainless steel. The jewelry was low-quality and clearly the cause of our infections. It makes sense now why she gave us a discount--she was scamming us. When I reached out to her about the issue, she simply told me to take the jewelry out and said she wouldn't be available to help until late March, which is completely unprofessional. On top of that, after reading through the reviews again, I'm convinced many of them are fake. This place is not trustworthy--save your money and go to a reputable shop that uses real jewelry and actually cares about their customers. read more

I originally found Pokt Piercing on Instagram and I started following the page for any deals or promos that were coming up. I saw that they were having a HUGE promo for 1 day, but when I looked into it, the wait was 2+ hours and people ended up camping out for hours! So I decided to sit this promo out. I decided to come in for a nose piercing on a Sunday during a BOGOF promo and ended up waiting 1 hour. The actual service was quick but it was just the waiting that takes the longest, which is understandable since I came in during a promo. I love that Nikki's workspace is very clean and she sterilizes the jewelry with an autoclave sterilizer. LOVE THIS SO MUCH! I've seen some piercing places just wipe the jewelry with an alcohol wipe or let the jewelry sit in alcohol. But I'm glad Nikki takes sterilization seriously and uses and autoclave! The first part is letting Nikki know what piercing you want to get done. After that, she lets you pick your jewelry. While your jewelry is sterilizing, you'll need to fill out some digital paperwork which will require your ID. Once your paperwork is reviewed and finalized, you'll go back in where Nikki preps you for your piercing. Nikki is so sweet and so awesome! I felt bad asking so many questions especially since this is my first piercing that wasn't my ears. Every answer she gave was very informative and she even showed me photos! I have not gotten my ears re-pierced in over 12 years and I was pretty nervous. The last time I got them done was at Claire's, and we all know Claire's aint the most reliable place to get them done. I came across Nikki on instagram and came as a walk in. Her shop is inside a tattoo shop and I love her little area. I came here spontaneously to get 4 piercings, 2 on each side of my earlobes. I asked her questions on if it was okay to get all 4 done at the same time and she told me it was no problem. She is a very knowledgable piercer and makes sure that where she marks the piercing is exactly what you want. Total was around $300 which was more than what I expected, but honestly she did such a great job that it was really worth it. It has been around 2 months after and they have healed pretty well, compared to my first piercing that I got done at Claire's. I would love to come back here if I ever need any other piercings done. She also mentioned that they can curate jewerly for ears at a fixed cost, which is a pretty cool concept. My best friend and I have gotten several piercings from her over the past year or two, and each one was done beautifully with no issues. I had my belly pierced two times before and they rejected both times, and I decided to trust Nikki to pierce it for a third time and it's been fully healed nicely for about 6 months now and my previous scarring is unnoticeable. Also her studio is so cute, piercings can make anyone anxious, but once you walk in, it feels super inviting and like Im at home. I came here a week and a half ago and was happy that they took walk-ins. Been wanting to get my ears pierced for a while (I'm a 62-year-old male :P), and I researched some places to get it done. There were quite a bit of positive reviews and plenty that spoke towards sterility of the tools. I was so happy to find a local piercer in the area & when I came across Nikki's work, I was excited to come in to get my dermal piercing! As of right now, my piercing has healed and I'm extremely happy w/ how it looks. I'm hoping to stop by to her new location since I haven't seen it yet. It looks so kawaii w/ the pink aesthetic :-) In the past, I've had the chest dermal piercing done probably 3-4 times with some cases of it rejecting. Dermal piercings are a bit different compared to your normal piercings that go through skin, this piercing is inserted into the skin. If you plan to get one, feel free to ask Nikki more info on it! However, in my experience.. the dermal piercing can easily reject so plzzz be careful. However, this time w/ Nikki.. it did not reject! She was very attentive & walked me through the steps on taking care of the piercing and mentioned better tips to help keep it from rejecting. This honestly helped since I've gotten this piercing done in Oct 2022. On a scale of 1-10 of pain level, it felt like 2/10 (mostly cause I've had it done before) but she also guided me through w/ breathing techniques when piercing it. In terms of pricing, I believe I paid around $150 for piercing w/ jewelry, saline spray & tip for Nikki. She offers cash, card, Venmo services in terms of payment. My daughter has been talking about getting a nose piecing for a short while. We did some homework and found Pokt. We didn't set an appointment and walked in on Sunday around 6pm. There were two tattoo artists working with clients already and Nicole, working with a client on piercing. We were greeted by Nicole, asked if we were there for a piercing. and informed we were up next. It was great that we happen to come at a time with a pretty short wait. Nicole interviewed my daughter for what she wanted and then showed her the selection of jewelry for her traditional nose piercing. Because my daughter is a minor, she and I had to fill out a form on the tablet for authorization. She had a jewelry case displayed on the wall for clients to choose from which she told us the final cost of the piercing and jewelry. She put on gloves and asked which nostril and put a small dot on the nose for us to look at and for my daughter to agree to the site. I didn't see the instruments that Nicole opened to see if they were sterile. We were having small conversation and didn't remember to look. She laid everything out on a clean wrap. (the kind they put on your chest similar at the dentist office) I dont know if that was sterile either. Observing her technique, she made sure to only touch the instruments and jewelry. Nicole offered the ability to record video of the actual piercing. And so I did for a memory. The procedure was done very swiftly and quick. And although the spot of insertion is very sensitive, my daughter didn't flinch or seem to be disturbed much at all. Thank you Nicole for doing such an awesome job! read more

I went here with my group of girlies and she was very transparent and reassuring which was comforting to us because it was some of their first time getting a piercing and it was my first time face piercing.
