This place is great very clean and the staff is very friendly. The downside to this location is that there isn't a large or unique selection of jewelry to choose from. In addition to the lack of jewelry options, there seems to be at least $30 worth of fees that are added to your piercing cost so highly recommend checking with the staff prior to having the service done. read more

Came here after deciding I wanted my daith pierced and my cousin also wanted to get her helix done. We were nearby and found Hone Piercing; the reviews across all social media were astounding so we felt very confident to go there for the first time. Upon arrival, the waiting area is so cute and decorated well with seating provided in the front. The jewelry is on display or in cases at the front which made us so excited for our appointment. The staff are all very kind and friendly, you'll lose any anxiety within the first ten seconds. Kasra pierced both my cousin and I, and I highly encourage everyone to book with them if possible! They really eased us into the sessions, explaining thoroughly what step they were doing and answered all our questions with confidence. We felt so much anxiety but their calm demeanor really helped us chill out. We also laughed and joked a ton which made the experience all the more special. While I knew my daith piercing was going to be rough, I never imagined it would almost be like giving birth from my ear. I, embarrassingly, screamed a ton as the needle went in but Kasra remained so calm and reassured me every few seconds -- an angel and professional piercer!! WOW! What an amazing place! My nieces and I came in for the Black Friday sale and were not disappointed! Our Piercer, Sara, was amazing! I've been pierced several times before, but my nieces were first timers. Sara took the time to explain everything from how it will heal to aftercare and jewelry upgrade. Evelyn was amazing! Super patient, kind, and incredibly warm and friendly towards my friend who came in for her doubles and me, who tagged along for moral support. She made my friend (who has a needle phobia lol) super comfortable. Evelyn went above and beyond with helping her perfectly place her piercing, as well as giving her advice for future piercings she was considering. She was honest and gave so much professional support, which was SO appreciated. Such a lovely experience with Evelyn!! I came to Hone Piercing to get my septum re-pierced, and honestly left feeling a bit disappointed. This was my second time getting it done, so I had a sense of what to expect and was really hoping for a better experience. Afterward, I noticed my piercing looked crooked. When I brought it up to my piercer, she mentioned that I have a deviated septum, which was something that wasn't brought up at all before the piercing. I wish that had been discussed ahead of time because it definitely affects how it looks and how I feel about it. The studio itself was nice and clean and everyone was polite, but I just wish there had been better communication and more attention to detail, especially for how much I paid. Hopefully this helps them be more transparent with clients in the future when it comes to anatomy and expectations. read more

So I had to get my ears re-pierced as they closed up after not wearing earrings regularly since the pandemic. I had gotten my first piercing when I was a teen and it was goofy to begin with - kinda low and on one side a weird angle. Was a little nervous but I'm SO HAPPY I came to Hone Piercing. It's clean and welcoming. Everyone was so friendly and nice. Check in process was so easy. Once you're all checked in and you pick your earrings and I then got taken into a very clean and welcoming room. I did a simple earlobe piercing on both my ears and unfortunately I can't remember the gentleman who did my piercing other than he was gentle, thorough, patient, and explained everything. He explained the process - what he would be doing, what to expect, etc. It didn't hurt AT ALL. Just a little pressure and that was it! This is DEFINITELY the place to come and highly recommend to all. read more

That was more than a year ago, and I still love my septum piercing! It miraculously seemed to heal instantaneously, and the size they recommended perfectly suits my nose shape (in my opinion). But as I wrote this 7 months out, I have to say I am incredibly disappointed by the jewelry. I was told the jewelry was high quality, and if it breaks I just need to bring it in to get fixed. The problem is, what happens when it breaks and I don't have it? I got 4 ear piercings in November and as of today, 3 of those 4 have fallen out and gotten lost. The first was in February, the second in May and the third one today. And these aren't cheap earrings. I spent nearly $1,500 for these and to have them disappear after normal wear is incredibly disheartening. Would I go back, I don't know. Maybe. But I have to believe there is a place with just as nice people and less expensive jewelry that doesn't just fall out of the ear during the healing process.

I went in a little nervous, but they walked me through the process and explained exactly why they chose the placement they did. This was the first time a piercer actually took the time to measure and ensure the placement was absolutely perfect, even making sure the jewelry balls weren't too large. The piercing itself hurt way less than I expected, especially compared to the first time I had it done. I'll definitely be coming back in the future for more piercings. When we arrived, the owner came to our car wearing a large face shield mask, which honestly startled us. I think the appearance made everyone extra scared. However, after my first appointment was canceled, I came in for my rescheduled visit and left feeling pretty discouraged. The staff explained the risks thoroughly, but it came across less like informed consent and more like they simply didn't want to perform the piercing. I was told things like they had already turned down several people for this type of piercing, that I only had about a 30% chance of success, that it's very hard to be eligible, and that I could be left with a large mark on my abdomen. For a navel piercing--which is very common--that felt excessive and discouraging. What added to the confusion was being told that I had "the perfect anatomy" for it, yet all the guidance seemed aimed at convincing me not to go forward the more and more the conversation went the scarier it got. I was also asked to find jewelry elsewhere and come back because their gauges were too large if I still wanted the piercing done. In the end, I went to another shop and had the piercing done without issue. I can't fully recommend this place, but I also can't completely dismiss them--the experience just left a sour taste. Hopefully, fewer people walk away feeling turned down or discouraged at a shop that offers piercings..

They are always very friendly and accommodating for a walk-in appointment. The salon is hygienic and clean. They also have a very nice selection of gel polish colors, especially cateye colors. I recently had an ingrown toenail (my first ever in 33 years) after my latest visit but the owner was quick to help communicate this with the nail tech doing my pedicure so it doesn't happen again. They offer a discount for cash payments, but also accept Venmo (even for tips) while credit card has a small charge. I think their prices are very reasonable and definitely cheaper than the last salon I went to before switching to Pedi Nail Lounge. There is a large shared parking lot in front so plenty of parking nearby. That's the reason I keep coming back. Unfortunately, the scheduling and appointment management have become really frustrating. Almost every time I book with a specific technician, I don't actually get the person I requested. On top of that, even with an appointment, I regularly wait 30-45 minutes past my scheduled time before getting started. What should be a normal appointment turns into me being there for close to 3.5 hours. I also feel bad for the technicians because they seem overbooked and overwhelmed. The salon accepts so many walk-ins that the staff barely gets a break, and it affects the overall experience for both customers and employees. I truly want to continue supporting this business because the work itself is excellent, but I hope management improves scheduling, honors technician requests, and stops overbooking appointments.

I do not think they keep track of appointments and, if they do, I simply cannot imagine how. I have tried texting and the response I get every time is "ok", even if I ask a question in my appointment request. I've tried making an appointment online and the appointment slots are always available and open, which can't be true. While in the salon, I've seen them answer the phone when someone calls to make an appointment, they are always on speakerphone, and I have never seen anyone write anything down after the phone call, they say ok and then just continue to work. Out of the 5 or 6 times I've been here I have only been seen at the time of my appointment once. Once! I am often waiting 30-45 mins and I stay because I have a very tight schedule and make appointments on the only days I can. I'm currently sitting waiting for my 5:00 appointment and it is 5:40 and there are 5 others also waiting, though I don't know what time their appointments are or were. (At 5:06 my manicurist asked me to wait 15 mins and I said fine....but I ended up leaving at 5:45 because she was doing someone's pedicure.) I have always been happy with the services I've received here and their prices are reasonable, which are the reasons for the 2 stars, but I simply will not be back due to their constant lack of respect of "appointment times".
