As in, I was in a cab and had to tell him where to drop me. I didn't want to pay a lot for one night so I asked him to just drop me here. On the plus side, the staff was very nice and accommodating. The grounds were clean. The air conditioning worked better than in most upscale hotels with their new "green" a/c that turns off when you go to bed and doesn't go cool enough. This was a BIG plus for me. The room was mostly clean. There is a mini-fridge. On the down side, there was dirt on the sheets. They appeared clean and washed, but like something had been set on them and left grit behind. I had to shut the bathroom door because I could hear the neighboring room as clearly as if they were standing in my bathroom. But once I shut the door it was quiet. The toilet didn't flush very well - it took two flushes usually, and sometimes continued running until I shook the handle. The fire alarm is ripped out. Maybe it was replaced somewhere else, but it was just missing from it's original location. The phone kept cutting my calls off so I had to resort to my cell phone. Overall though, it wasn't a bad stay for a cheap hotel.

Even with the sound proofing, she was off the rails. Thankfully the Sheriff came just as I was going to introduce her to the find out phase of messing around. This was not the hotels fault. It could have happened at any place. As a result of the chaos, the manager gave me a partial credit. I am grateful. But still it cost too much. If the price came down to what I normally pay for a BW, I'd stay here again.

If we didn't only have an hour to get ready and leave for the wedding, I would have left immediately and demanded a refund. I will never stay at this hotel again and neither should you. Spend the extra $40 and stay at the Hampton Inn. Then you won't have to sleep fully clothed in fear of catching bed bugs.
