We stayed here on a yearly lease, and overall our experience was positive until it came time for us to move out after our new home was completed. Unfortunately, our home's construction was delayed beyond the move-out date listed in our written notice through no fault of our own. My husband spoke directly with the manager, who assured us that she would work with us regarding the additional days we needed to remain on the property.
Throughout our stay, we were good tenants. We never had any issues, never caused any problems, and always fulfilled our responsibilities. We also provided more than the required 30-day written notice before vacating.
What is disappointing is the way my husband was treated on the day we left. When he went to the office to inform them that he was moving out, the staff member he spoke with was unnecessarily rude and unprofessional. He explained that he would return the following Monday to pay and finalize the remaining balance due. Rather than handling the situation professionally, he was told that he could not leave without paying immediately.
As local residents with an established history of meeting our obligations, returning a few days later to settle the account should not have been treated as a problem. Instead, the interaction became unnecessarily confrontational and left us feeling completely disrespected.
I do not leave negative reviews lightly, but the way my husband was treated was unacceptable. Customer service and professionalism matter, especially when dealing with long-term tenants. One negative interaction can overshadow an otherwise positive experience, and unfortunately that is exactly what happened here. The conduct of your staff reflects directly on your business, and no customer deserves to be treated with the level of disrespect that we experienced. read more
