We went to the Glades to buy a used RV and truck and ended up staying for a month. It was all we…read morehoped it would be and we're sorry we could not enjoy all of the activities they usually offer because of Covid. My husband loved the pickle ball courts and the two restaurants on site were absolutely stellar, especially Crumbs where we had many breakfast and dinners. The one time we had pizza we were very satisfied as well. RV years were mostly from Ohio and Michigan and a few Canadians, but that contingent was largely absent due to Covid. All the campers we met were friendly and helpful and the site was impeccable. The front office was especially helpful for providing notary public services for our vehicle purchases. My husband was wild about the pickle ball courts and the great folks that he played with. It was an especially good value for a month and even more so for a year. The pool was lovely and we looked forward to the Wednesday bake sales and farmers market. We would love to go back and might even consider wintering there next year. My only observation as a new RVEr was that the population At Florida RV parks in general was very Caucasian. There were no or very few Hispanics, African-Americans and Asians at the location. It was definitely LGBT friendly. Servers at Crumbs Country restaurant did not wear masks but outside dining was available and very comfortable. The overall belief of the RVers was that Covid had already come through the park and everyone simply distanced or rode by on their golf carts. Almost no one wore a mask.

We have been wanting to try this little park for over a year now. Finally, we just booked. There…read moreare only 30 sites but each one is super large. We were able to put our big ole truck next to the rig easily. It was super quiet and everyone was friendly. The owners are very kind and caring. They seem like they enjoy what they are doing. The only reason I gave this park a four instead of a four five is there are no laundry facilities or bath house. Although we didn't need either, it's good to know in advance so you can be prepared. It takes about 15 minutes to get into town. Not many good restaurants nearby but we decided to cook. We also perused the flea market. Okeechobee is a truly unique place where everyone says hello, holds the door open and is friendly.

Every site is paved with manicured landscaping. Plants in between sites provide privacy. 50 amps FHU, big rig friendly. Boat ramp conveniently located inside the resort, great for RVers who are here for fishing There's boat/trailer storage area in the end of the park, for renters to store the toys. There are gators in the lake, so you don't want to swim in the lake! Wifi, outdoor pool, pet friendly, gated. Although not many amenities, but there is a big tiki by canal equipped with outdoor seating, great for chilling and hanging out with friends. Big dog park for our fur baby to run freely. Dog bags are provided through out the park, very thoughtful. However there's no trash by the dog park or anywhere near by to throw away. Can only go to big dumpster. We love this park! It's a great location for weekend getaway for us. We are thinking of coming here once a month!

My time living at this RV park has been extremely stressful due to ongoing electronic interference…read moreand surveillance-like activity that I have experienced while staying here. During my residency I began noticing repeated patterns that felt far beyond normal privacy concerns. I experienced what seemed like constant monitoring, unusual electronic interference, and sensations consistent with directed energy exposure and remote neural monitoring technology. These issues occurred frequently enough that they became impossible for me to ignore. What made the situation even more concerning was the feeling that the environment around me was aware of what was happening but unwilling to acknowledge it. When you try to talk about electronic harassment or advanced surveillance technologies, the situation is often dismissed as paranoia or conspiracy thinking. That kind of dismissal makes it very difficult to seek help or even have a serious conversation about what you are experiencing. The park itself is located in a very isolated rural area near large cane fields, which can make someone dealing with these kinds of concerns feel even more vulnerable. Isolation and distance from larger towns can leave residents with very few options if something unusual or disturbing is happening. From the outside the resort may appear quiet and pleasant, and many short-term visitors may never notice anything unusual. But living here long term while experiencing persistent electronic interference and surveillance concerns has been mentally exhausting and has made me feel like I have very little privacy. I would strongly encourage anyone considering a long-term stay to pay close attention to their environment, and any unusual interference or monitoring patterns they notice.

The park is mostly mobile homes, but let me tell you, never ever have we seen a mobile home park as prestige as this! Most of the trailers are very old, but they are very, very nice and collectible and taken care of Amazing! Truly this RV park should be in a magazine! Instead of a car show they should have an antique mobile home show! Everyone of the people that live there take pride in their homes! Everyone's so nice, lots of dog walking and friendly waves! We will not hesitate to book here again when visiting Sebring! We had a lot of fun in the last three days visiting the Hammond state park and taking the tram tour , eating at all the yummy restaurants, going to the Secret Gardens winery tasting, walking the Historic Circle in the Sebring Town! Just a lot of fun!

The park is located on Lake Josephine, and if you like to fish our go boating everything you need is here including a fish cleaning space. You can also invest in a dock if ones available, or store your boat for a reasonable rate. The sunsets over the lake can be part of your daily routine and some nights they are spectacular. The residents here are always friendly, and smiling, and enjoying getting together for the many activities that are offered. Tennis, pickleball, bocce, horseshoes, putt putt, shuffleboard, various crafts and games. Tai chi, Walk walk, Line dancing classes, water aerobics, and many more. The office staff is friendly and accommodating especially, Brittney. She is very knowledgeable and experienced. The manager is easy to talk to and available if you need information regarding the park. This park is a hidden treasure in central south Florida.
