stayed here a little over 2 years. we were on a canal site and the price was right, our truck…read moreneeded expensive work so we were kind if stuck. i tried talking to the owner about things but she just never seemed to care enough to fix the issues or would blame something else or the residents. here is my honest review . pros: i liked that is was a smaller park , beautiful on the water with an almost constant breeze ( gale at times) laundry room, 1 guest bath with shower, communty room right on the water, boat docks, concrete pads, nice landscaping, gas station eith a subway and a liquor store across the street if you drink, if you love bird watching tons of birds! 30/50 amp available. cons: small park, more difficult for larger rigs to get into. laundry room- 3 washers 3 dryers.the entire time i was there never a time that all worked. by the time we left i had given up on doing laundry there ! i was told i have to use them a certain way for them to work(?) really? BTW your husband is not a handy man! guest bath: was behind the laundry room, you have to walk through a breezeway and it is poorly lit and unsafe! water: there were times it was so over chlorinated my eyes burned in the shower! on the flip side the sulphur was so bad and stunk so bad i could not even take a shower and definitely dont drink it. management: noone is ever in the office and can be quite frustrating, you have to call the number posted to get him to come to the office. i once told him i was expecting medication and needed it, i finally saw it had been delivered 3 days prior and he had never checked the LOCKED mailbox! unstable rent- enough said RATS- 8 months of hell while they chewed holes throughout my rv, spent over 200$ on traps and finally poison, it was absolutely horrible. told owner about it, not once did they try and put a trap or poison out to help, instead it was my fault! i found a total of 38 dead rats in my camper , HUGE rats! imagine the stench! grass cutting- there is no schedule and the grass can get quite tall, and letting your 70 something residents cut the grass because your too cheap to do it is messed up! NOT DOG FRIENDLY! no dog park and no where to really walk them the road in front if the park is very busy. the owner does not like dogs, its difficult to see to pick up your pets poop with tall grass poor lighting. If you like to fish good fishing and boat docks available. Hope this helps someone!

The property is well appointed and has thoughtful touches. The beds were very nice and there was plenty of storage room. There is a nice patio outback with plenty of outdoor seating, and a grill. Overall a very good experience. Travis and Karen are good hosts.

My husband loved the pickle ball courts and the two restaurants on site were absolutely stellar, especially Crumbs where we had many breakfast and dinners. The one time we had pizza we were very satisfied as well. RV years were mostly from Ohio and Michigan and a few Canadians, but that contingent was largely absent due to Covid. All the campers we met were friendly and helpful and the site was impeccable. The front office was especially helpful for providing notary public services for our vehicle purchases. My husband was wild about the pickle ball courts and the great folks that he played with. It was an especially good value for a month and even more so for a year. The pool was lovely and we looked forward to the Wednesday bake sales and farmers market. We would love to go back and might even consider wintering there next year. My only observation as a new RVEr was that the population At Florida RV parks in general was very Caucasian. There were no or very few Hispanics, African-Americans and Asians at the location. It was definitely LGBT friendly. Servers at Crumbs Country restaurant did not wear masks but outside dining was available and very comfortable. The overall belief of the RVers was that Covid had already come through the park and everyone simply distanced or rode by on their golf carts. Almost no one wore a mask.

I came prepared and used my own pillows and blankets and thankfully fell asleep without the stress of worrying about bed bugs. Also, thankfully didn't see any. The room smelled like smoke really badly, was extremely outdated, and very limited items. Like the towels were small and the toiletries were worse than what you'd find at a dollar store. I'd come back if i couldn't find a better deal anywhere else. But $55 / night is steep for a place like this. You could find an airBNB for $30/night that's way better and more accommodating. But then again, it was late, I've been driving for 10 hours. It is what it is.

But whenever anything needed to be done I had to call every single day to make sure they were still going to help out with the issue. If I didn't call them and stay on top of them nothing would get done. I had to threaten to call the homeowner about 10 times. They also told me they would board up my house when there was a hurricane. I left town with peace of mind that I would be taken care of and when they hurricane was about to hit they said they are not responsible with boarding the house. This company is awful. I will never live in a property managed by the company. The manager should be fired.

There is a really nice golf course with nine holes and a putting green, Miniature golf and a small fitness center. They have two pools and a hot tub. There is a full liquor bar with live entertainment. Since it was a holiday weekend, they had planned activities like candy bar bingo, an ice cream social and reasonably priced lunch and breakfast. The staff was phenomenal. Especially the AGM, she was everywhere doing everything always with a smile on her face and remembered everyone's names. We will be back for sure.
