RIP OFF CONTRACTOR ALERT!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY . THEY CHARGED $415.00 TO CHANGE 3 LIGHT BULBS. SAID THE JOB COULD HAVE COST MORE. We had 3 LED plug in lamps out. Company was given photo and specs on the lamps prior to the visit. Each lamp cost about $10.00 each from pretty much any seller on the internet. Pie charged $30.00 EACH for which should be a stock item for most electricians or picked up at the supply shop with all their other supplies the same day.. Here is what the owner said - "My tech is saying over all time at job was about 2 1/2 - 3 hours for purchasing, troubleshooting and installation. Troubleshooting, installation may have been about an hour. I didn't add travel time." The company is literally down the street. My reply to the owner - There should not be an issue with sourcing or trouble shooting. We have had the same lamps out before and even supplied photos. The lamps should be standard stock for most electricians. Plus 3X cost is nuts. Three hours to change three plug in lamps. Really!! I think this will end our relationship. Your team is not efficient and apparently not being managed well. Pretty insulting to any intelligent person. Stay away from this company. read more

Everyone there is super nice, professional and responsive. They installed an EV charger and, a few weeks later, I was having issues charging my car. They came out and checked everything for free to make sure there weren't any issues with the wiring (the wiring was fine, I just needed a new portable charger). Pie electric is an amazing company with excellent electricians. They are top-notch with service and skill as well as being wonderful people. They are honest, detailed, knowledgeable, and very quick in response time. Our home was built in 1997 and we purchased it from the original buyer. Most of the electrical Was shoddy and subpar, and the original buyer said the kitchen island electrical outlets never worked. We hired several electrical contractors to remedy the specific issues to no avail. We were told they would have to rip up the floor, tile, foundation, and part of the wall to connect the outlets, mounting to thousands of dollars. So, for 12 years, we weren't able to use those outlets. This November we needed ceiling fans installed, and of the five or six companies that we contacted PIE was the first to respond and were able to send an electrician the next day. we had also asked to have the island outlets checked in the off chance that they might be repaired. The electrician that came that day was not able to remedy the situation and he spent nearly an hour and a half troubleshooting the connectivity issue. He said another one would come the next day to check again. The next day that electrician discovered the problem within 10 minutes and had the island outlets working by the end of the hour. Amazing! No damage to any tiles or floor! The next day, he returned on time and installed our ceiling fans and one other electrical correction in another room. We are customers for life with PIE electric. We had the folks at PIE, Ken (owner), Paris, and Andre complete several jobs for us on our newly purchased home. They installed 6 outdoor lights ( 2 were carriage lights on either side of the garage and 4 were motion sensor floor lights placed around the outside of the home). We also hired them to install 5 recessed led can lights inside my living room. We were happy with the results except one of the recessed lights is buzzing when turned on. So that is the reason we hired PIE to install two lighted bathroom fans in our two bathrooms despite them not having the lowest bid. But we did have a problem with one of them damaging my brand new Petrafina counter top inside my two bathrooms. Ken kept denying responsibility despite his employee being the only one in the bathroom. After some back and forth Ken found someone to somewhat fix it. While the counter tops were repaired mostly satisfactory, the drywall that was damaged due to Ken's employee using a reciprocating saw on it, was not repaired in a professional way. I am very sad that this happened but note to Ken an apology goes a long way. That was why we became upset. Accidents happen but that is where professionalism can smooth over the most tense of situations. This has made me not recommend this company to anyone. This isn't the cheapest company but if they don't damage anything they are worth it. read more

I had a few jobs to complete. One, a chandelier installed on a 15 foot ceiling, two, a fan/light fixture installed on a 15 foot ceiling and third, 3 pendent lights above my countertop were replaced. Ken was professional and courteous. He had an apprentice with him who he closely supervised. All lighting fixtures were were up in no time. I love how they all look and I am going to hire Ken again to do some more electrical work on my home. He's already aware of the work my home needs. I didn't have anything bad to say initially and honestly as far as the electric installation and how friendly, flexible, timely and upfront they are they did an amazing job. I got electrical work done for a hot tub a few months ago and it has been doing excellent. However, I've recently had to take my side panels off. Let's just say they won't win an award for reinstalling those. Almost all my screws were stripped, either a little or a lot, they were sunken way to deep and not a single original hole was used. They just drilled new holes and made everything look like it was lined up right. I guess that would explain why the screws are stripped and parts of my corner panels are cracked inside. Luckily nothing is visible on the outside of the tub but it has made it difficult for me to actually line it up right and now I have to replace probably 65% of the screws next time I have to remove the panels. read more

Do Not Recommend I paid them $265 and they did not fix my OTR Microwave shorting out issue. They came out three times and couldn't find the problem. They wanted to charge me another $245 to run a new line. I had another electrician come out and they were able to find and fix the issue within 30 minutes. I called them for a refund and was told they would call me back, never did. They were really nice but that doesn't get the job done, nor does it get me my money back. read more

I am really picky when it comes to in home repairs and do not give 5 stars unless they're are really earned -- Ken is an excellent electrician. Half the outlets in my garage went out. I replaced the circuit breaker myself and still no power so I tried out Home Advisor for the first time and and left a message after hours with Ken. I used Pie (Ken) before and he was very good, all their reviews were awesome. Then I called and it took the other guy 2 weeks to come, He only bid the job, When I had thought he was going to work. So I had to wait another 3 weeks for him to come back. He was then a no show and a no call. So I sent him several messages, after a week he responded said he was on a big job that was running behind and would contact me soon. That was about a month ago. These guys were great! We discovered that we needed an electrician on a Saturday, to install a 220 volt plug for my mom's electric stove (it had been hardwired into the wall in the 1980s - who knew?) before installing an automatic shut-off switch. After a moment of panic, and worry that we weren't going to be able to finish the project that day, we started the process of finding someone who could help us, pronto! The owner returned our call within a few minutes, and a licensed electrician was at my mom's house in about 2 hours. The electrician knew exactly what he was doing and completed the work in about an hour. Charged normal, reasonable fees, and was very pleasant and professional in the process. I needed some electrical work done on my house and they had the most reviews, so I called, spoke with Ken, was given a quote, and told they could come out the next day. Paris and the other guy (whose name I didn't catch) were late. I let it slide because I needed the work done and didn't want any drama, plus I could appreciate a company openly expressing their faith. Unfortunately the whole "Christian" thing is a complete guise. These "men" had the audacity to sit there and carry a conversation with me, not even read the instructions which made it take much longer than necessary because they kept doing things incorrectly, talk about church and how involved they are with theirs, and play with my kids while doing what I needed done in the living room, then turn around and steal two expensive knives from my knife block while alone in my kitchen doing what I needed done in there. When I saw that the knives were missing from the block, I figured they were in the dishwasher or maybe in the sink, but after doing all the dishes and looking everywhere, I realized they had actually been stolen. They were smart, though, to steal things nobody would notice at first and when they did, would assume it was in another place that would make sense -- I mean, really, who goes around making sure the professional they hired didn't steal from them while they're not looking?? Well, not only did they steal from me, but then when Ken called later that day to collect the payment, he told me I owed TWICE the amount he had previously quoted. When I reminded him of the fact that he told me it would be that price he quoted the day before, he came up with ridiculous excuses, and after I continued to tell him how outrageous it was that he expected me to be okay with being charged double, he acted as if he was doing me a favor when he "came down" from what he was trying to charge me to "only" $150 more than what he had originally quoted. Not only are these people are absolutely unprofessional, but also thieves and obviously false Christians. Major disappointment. read more
