I highly recommend Don! He did an amazing job and was very professional from start to finish. His work is excellent, and what impressed me the most is how competitive and affordable his pricing is compared to others. Even though he is licensed and bonded, his rates are still very reasonable. When we needed him urgently, he was very responsive and came to our house right away to install it. He made the whole process easy and stress-free. Great service, great quality, and a very reliable person to work with. Thank you, Don! Highly recommended! read more

Special T Electric - Lighting Fixtures & Equipment Near Me

We needed a full panel replacement and upgrade for an older home. We got four quotes. Don put 4X the time into understanding the project including having a city inspector come out to make sure what we were doing would pass inspection. He handled all the permitting with the city and gave an extremely detailed and fully transparent quote. To be honest, I was ready to give him the business based on the quoting process. The motto on his business card was "shockingly affordable" and he was. He's an excellent communicator, very detail oriented, dependable and extremely professional. Since buying our home, we've had several projects and this was by far the largest and by far the least stressful. I can't recommend Don highly enough. read more

Don is great professional prompt kind and reasonably priced. We called him to install a ceiling fan on our front screened in porch. He went above and beyond. Thanks again. read more

I initially asked for a quote because we were having problems with our car charger. Instead of immediately suggesting a full replacement, he took the time to troubleshoot the issue first, explained what was causing the problem, and gave us a simple solution. Other electricians might have just recommended replacing the entire outlet without offering an honest assessment. read more

I called Don after being referred by a friend. He returns calls, texts and shows up on time. I was having problems with tripping breakers and an outlet not working. He checked out my breakers and figure out the problem. Turned out to be something simple, my built in microwave was having a nervous breakdown and needs to be replaced. He accomplished this in one hour. Highly recommend! read more

Special T Electric is amazing. Don the owner is very thorough! on the phone and in person, he is very personable. Definitely knows his stuff. He came by the house to do the estimate and made sure everything could be installed without any problems. During Don's consultation, he confirmed that I could do both - the attic fan controls the attic temperature during the middle of the hot day (you can tell the difference right away), turn on the Quiet Cool whole house fan to bring cool air into the house when the temperature changes in the evening. The combo has been working excellent in the hot summer weather. I already see a lower electric bill each month. Don Quiet Cool system installation, was finished ahead of schedule. We had no complaints about the installation We were surprised how quiet the fan runs. Beyond happy with our Quiet Cool system fan and the work that was performed by Special T Electric We would definitely recommend!! read more

If I could give 10 STARS I would. I'm a very picky and a perfectionist, Don was absolutely amazing and very professional. He made recommendations we talked and let me tell you, he knows his stuff. I want everyone to know that I would tell all my family and friends that I would highly recommend his work. He was very conscious of the area, he was very clean before and after the job was completed. He was on time, and in constant communication. Which I loved. I will definitely be having more work done him in the feature.
