Found this fabulous place by accident today. Definitely the best in Marietta. Marietta square is sadly lacking places to have coffee or anything before 5. All restaurants were closed. The only other coffee venue was packed like a night club with a line to the front door. The pie's here are outstanding. The staff are super and the venue uses real cups. No paper or plastic with pisses me off completely. I'll definitely be back. read more

An eggs an egg but, a pie is not just a pie. This place is GLORIOUS!!! My husband and I thought there must be something special to just have a store that just sells pies. The Pie bar does not disappoint. Glad we purchased a whole pie and not just a slice. Yes, we ate it all. Please stop by....and no whining about parking. It's worth the effort. Came in yesterday to pick up a couple slices of pie to go. We came in around 2pm on Sunday and there was no one else so we got in and out quickly! It's located on the outskirts of downtown Marietta. The girl working was really kind and patient with us. We got one slice of peanut butter cream and one slice of chocolate chess. They had about 8 pies in total I think - some notable ones that sounded super tasty were mocha cream, apple, and bourbon pecan. They all looked fabulous though. They also serve coffee here as well. We just got our slices to go though. For sure not cheap. But the pies were quite tasty. I wish the slices were a tad bigger especially since they are quite pricey. The peanut butter cream was for sure heavy on the peanut butter. So if you aren't a pb fan, steer clear. I most certainly am a huge fan of peanut butter so this was just my type of pie. A great little gem on the Square. Typically, I go to the Pier Bar in Woodstock, but this is closer to my work. Drawback is that they don't bake the pies at this location, so I'm not sure how long some of the pies have been sitting in their cooler and display case.The coconut slice that I got simply didn't taste fresh. I've had it at their Woodstock location many times, but the slice from this location just wasn't at the same caliber. The key lime and the peanut butter cream was spot on though! read more

Overall, very well baked pies (crust is baked well!) l love that you can buy slices of all their pies instead of the trend to make individual pies which can be inconsistent. Marietta square is a great location and glad they realized it as well! The customer service is exceptional! Only real con is that the pies are a bit too sweet. Think they could use a little less sugar and would be perfect but I consider that to be the only flaw. The fact that the pies are baked so well stands out to me much more! Yummmm! I brought home a slice of the Chocolate Chess pie for myself and the Peanut Butter Cream Pie for a friend a couple weeks ago. Mine was so rich and creamy I couldn't believe it. Pie Bar is one of the best dessert places in Marietta, Woodstock, Acworth, Roswell, and Alpharetta perdiodt. (The t is not a typo, iykyk). Every single time I am near the Woodstock or Marietta Pie Bar. My husband requests multiple slices of pie so of course I also get myself a couple slices. The employees are great to chat with, and I haven't been disappointed by any pies. Cool Spot located near Marietta Square. Street parking is available, but hard to come by. I purchased the Key Lime and Apple Streusel. Hands down the Key Lime was the winner. The grated lime can become a tad overwhelming and bitter since you get it in each bite and as a garnish on top of the slice.The apple wasn't sweet enough, packed with cinnamon and a spice I couldn't put my finger on. I was working a few doors down the last few weeks and grab a slice of apple pie for a snack. The pie was just ok for me not bad but didn't knock me off my feet. So on Friday I decided to grab a pie to bring home for the family, I ended up doing the 8 slice sampler. I had no idea of what I was in store for. Their customer service is AMAZING. Was blown away by how friendly, kind, and funny their pie barista is. I changed my order on him, ended up ordering 8 individual slices instead of one large pie. He was very kind, and at the end informed me that I had actually made a sampler pie with how many slices I had and would give me that discount. LOVE HIM. The pies were okay. We had blueberry, apple streusel, key lime, lemon bar, and peanut butter. Most of them were way too sweet to taste any other flavors. I was looking forward to the blueberry being tart, but it had a LOT of sugar. To the point where the sweetness hurt my throat. My sister had the buttermilk blueberry and said it was not too sweet, it was perfect. Tasty pie. I've had the Apple Streusel and Chocolate Cream pies and thought both tasted great. The apple pie definitely tastes better than frozen, mass produced apple pies for reheating. Both pies weren't overly sweet and had a nice crust. These are not cheap pies, however, so try a slice before dropping $30+ dollars. read more
