BEWARE! These people will lie and steal your property just to exercise their perceived power over you! I inadvertently took the jack from my car into the facility in case I needed it. They failed to follow their own policy to check bags of people going in - if they had the employee could have simply informed me to take my jack back to the car. After purchasing my part, I was exiting the facility and the "supervisor" checked my bag and implied that I had stolen the jack! Very embarrassing! She informed me that she would not take a look at the trunk of my car where she could clearly see where it had come from.. instead she told me that she would review the video recording and if they had failed to check my bag, then they would return my jack (the big lie). Jackie clearly wanted to stick it to me and returned with a single useless still frame picture of me entering the facility! Time stamp on my receipt 11/8/2025 1:20pm customer with the yellow bag.. Jacky took great delight in exercising her authority and effectively stealing my property because I was upset! I left after giving her some choice words (not proud of that but oh well!). They didn't charge for us to remove the part ourselves like a lot of these reviews said. I took off a star because it is true they charge for every little damn thing. But I bought it because I was not going to take everything little thing off to save $50. I didn't buy insurance which sucked because I bought the wrong year but that's completely my fault, buy the insurance just in case! You must pay for an item before removal, the heavy duty girl in the office is in charge of pricing way too expensive, and the old guy helping you out should not work there if he doesn't want to, extremely rude and talks like if he was on a substance. Wow this place was awesome! Went for a good insulation pad (I know right) and at the dealer there $250 for a brand new one, no way was I paying that. Went on LKQ's website to see if they had my car, or similar models that fit my same pad, and sure enough the Bloomington location did. Now I did some research before hand and knew they charged $3 entrance fee (cash preferred) and no youngsters. So my husband, son and I went to LKQ in search of the pad. My husband brought a tool bag, since you have to get it off yourself, and they inspected the bag at the entrance, which is totally fine. And off he went, I had to stay behind because of my son, but my husband said it was a little hard to find the car since the bay numbers are written on the car bumper. But every car is lined up and easily accessible. My husband asked a nice worker where the bay was, and he was pointed in the right direction. This place is huge! Found and picked his part, and headed to the cashier. You pay inside the gates and yes there is a warranty that they charge you. Depending on the price of your part, depends on the warranty. You have no choice, this is not an optional thing. Spent $25 total with the entrance fee and warranty and couldn't be happier. The pad fit perfectly and I am a happy car owner. read more

When I got home the wheels I purchased were incorrect and I immediately called LKQ back to see if I could return. Apparently I cannot even though I purchased within 90 minutes, had a receipt and had my # registered. Last year I came to this yard and they ask you if you want a guarantee or warranty on your parts. I go today and they automatically charge you the 14$ or 15$ for the guarantee/warranty. The cashier said "it automatically adds it at check out" which is complete BS because I left the San Bernardino and Fontana yard (same day) and they ask you if you want to add it. One guy came back and wanted a full refund on what he had pulled. The guy behind us was like "fuck that. they hit me with that I'm leaving everything", understandable. The cashier tried to say it's for electric parts... we didn't have any but ok we left everything there. As I was leaving the guy in front of me looked at his receipt and ask "you guys charged me the warranty and you didn't even ask?" I chimed in and said that they wanted to charge us that without even asking and laughed. The worker got upset and said "you have to tell them you don't want it." I quickly shut him down by saying we did and that the other yards asked us before we started the transaction.
