Order takeout at the counter. Table service for dinner in.
Becky H.

I wrote about 4 paragraphs while at the restaurant and the app crashed!!! I hate that. It's a small place but with great table service, a very clean dining room and restroom. To order takeout, you can use two delivery options, and order (dinner portions only) online. Or walk right up to the spotless counter, then watch the Food Network on the large screen TV while you wait. It's in a strip mall, with ample, free parking. Only challenge is if you want to go north on Route 3 ;) My DD had been wanting to try this place, and after we dropped off her kids at camp, she and my SIL treated me. As is our custom, we each ordered something different, then shared it all. For starters, we had luscious dumplings stuffed with shrimp, crab, pork, water chestnuts and herbs. The ginger soy sauce was almost unnecessary, but I love that stuff so of course I had to have it. For main dishes, we had green curry, with loads of pork and veggies and a soup that was just the right spiciness; pad woonsen, a delectable noodle dish with egg, mushrooms, veggies in garlic sauce; and duck curry that was to die for. The duck slices were melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the sauce was amazing. I can't even. I don't know what the bill was, but my DD and SIL were pleased, so it was probably not terribly high. No leftovers, though - it was just the right amount of food to be pleasantly full. I saw so many dishes on the menu that I want to try, I'll definitely be back!

Pad See Ew

Pad See Ew, Pad Thai, and Spring roles was the order. Working backwards the Spring Roles we're delicious, the Pad Thai was just okay, and the Pad See Ew was just okay. The problem was flavor was there but it wasn't there...in other words it needed more. Now would I go back and try something else...I would because placing an order was easy, the prices were reasonable and the customer service was good. So today it's okay but I have a feeling I need to review them again a four star review is right around the corner. We shall see what happens...

It's a quaint spot with a few tables for dining in, but don't let the size fool you. This place serves up a huge Thai spicy punch of delicious, fresh cook to order, authentic Thai cuisine! We've ordered carry out from here 3 times already. We've tried the Penang curry w/ chicken, Drunken noodles w/ chicken, Pad Thai, Pineapple fried rice w, Pad see eww, & spring rolls. Everything was fresh, hot, and deliciously awesome! Needless to say we will definitely order again and again!

This place is relatively new. I haven't written a review in a few years and will only write a review if the restaurant is new (positive or negative). This location use to be a Chinese take out and is now a Thai restaurant. The restaurant offers a variety of food and I've attached the menu pictures. If you dine in, the capacity of the restaurant looked like it can fit 20 people comfortably. Prices are relative, meaning, not too expensive and not at a discount either, just in between. Ingredients are fresh. The chief was helpful to make my selection by asking: "do you like noodle dishes, small noddles or thick noodles, do you like rice dishes, what kinds of meat do you prefer, if you like spicy dishes, there are some selections". The questions the chief asked me helped me to narrow my choices base on preference. My first order was the "drunken noodle" with steak. The dish tasted very fresh and tasted as good as a tai dish restaurant in downtown. My second order was calamari and if you enjoy calamari, you'll definitely enjoy this dish. The calamari tasted so fresh and the sauce tasted great. My final order was the fried green beans and it also tasted very fresh and didn't need the sauce that came with it, in my opinion. Overall, this restaurant provided fresh ingredients, provided a wide variety of dish selections, tasted very good as comparable to the many more expensive Thai restaurants in downtown, the prices are relative, the owners and chiefs were helpful, the wait time for the order was short, and the location is very convenient. I would recommend and repeat. I will be trying the "duck" dish on my next visit! ---------------------------- Edit: I decided to come back the next day and try the duck basil and tai tea (both pictures are attached to this review). Duck is not widely accessible in our area and I had to try this duck dish. Keeping with the "fresh" theme, the duck dish tasted very fresh and seasoned perfectly (not too salty and not too sweet). The duck meat was tender. I was very satisfied and enjoyed the duck basil meal. I felt refreshed after drank the Thai tea. The Thai tea was blended well because it was not too watery and not too creamy. I also attached a picture showing the seating area that showed both the booth and table seats.

Slam dunk! I finally got a chance to stop by here and get one of fave Asian dishes, DRUNKEN NOODLES! They absolutely delivered! I went inside to order, sat down at one of the bar tables and waited while my phone kept me company (so sad I know). She brought my food to me wrapped and packaged nicely, ready to go. I went to my car and ate some before I drove off. Omg! I will most certainly be back for more drunken noodles and to try some more food from their menu. They cooked it perfectly, drunken and not dry, perfect amount of spicyness, great portion for a great price.

But make sure to tell them you want the vegan versions if you order off it, as they have non vegan versions of some of the dishes with the exact same name. It is a loud restaurant. The chicken satay was fried chicken with peanut sauce, definitely not authentic (chicken satay is usually grilled). Decent for what it was though. The khao soi's flavor was great, there were pieces of chicken which is also not authentic (usually has a chicken leg). The mango sticky rice was tasty though, rice was warm and chewy, mango was very little though. I originally asked for tom yum noodles with thick rice noodles (it usually comes with super thin noodles), and the kitchen "couldn't" do it. Yes you can, all you have to do is cook a different type of noodle and put it in, it's not that hard. I'm not sure what you "can't" do about it. Price was okay, decent for DC. Service kept reminded us probably at least 3 times throughout the meal that they're almost closing (at 9:30PM).

The service was great, and the restaurant itself was really pretty and had such a nice atmosphere. We all got the mango frozen cocktails, and they were AMAZING; so refreshing, and honestly the perfect pairing with the food. Everyone in our group ordered something different, and everything we tried was so good. I got the Thai vermicelli, and it was absolutely delicious! I also got to try some of my friends' dishes, and everything was flavorful and really well done. I'm usually pretty nitpicky when it comes to coconut curry sauces, but it was so perfectly balanced and flavorful. It was easily some of the best Thai food I've had in the DMV (honestly!). No complaints whatsoever. I'll definitely be returning next time I'm in the area! :)

The khao soi had good flavor, and it came with rice. The chicken wings were for my son, he said they were the best wings he's ever had. The beef curry had good flavor, but the beef was a bit overcooked. Service was a little bit of a miss. When the waiter first came, he asked us for our food order. However, we wanted to order drinks first. I was able to order my cocktail, however, the waiter left before anyone else at my table could speak to order a beverage. Food came out very quickly. This is not the type of place where you would want to enjoy drinks and food over a period of time. However, if you are super hungry, your food will definitely get to you quickly. Restaurant was crowded, but not super loud. Overall, I would come back for the food, I just wish that I could have more time to enjoy my restaurant experience.
