I disagree with the other negative reviews here, this is most certainly not the worst Pick N Save. It's kind of a typical Pick N Save in that it's not very good. The workers aren't very friendly and certainly not very efficient. The produce section isn't very attractive, and the store has some display problems. You'll have to wait a while in line (bring a book). The deli, bakery are a little sketchy and the services desk isn't appropriately named. Check expiration dates carefully.

The main level is packed with grocery options and an impressive variety of hot food stations, including burritos, noodles, pizza, salads, and more. The bakery looks fantastic too! One thing I would have loved to see is an Indian food hot bar. Given the location and surrounding community, I think it would be a huge hit! On the top floor is their restaurant, Tudi's. Our server mentioned that the pasta is freshly made in-house, which sounded promising. We ordered the beer-dipped mozzarella, veggie flatbread, and ravioli. The food was decent, but honestly, nothing really wowed us. Everything was fine, just not particularly memorable. One suggestion for Tudi's would be to offer complimentary bread when guests are seated. If they're going for an Italian restaurant vibe, a little bread service would be a nice touch and make the experience feel more authentic and welcoming. Overall, I love the concept of this massive Sendik's! There's so much to explore, and it's definitely worth checking out. While the grocery side is impressive, I think Tudi's still has some room to elevate its dining experience.

This location is two stories and includes a coffee bar, gift shop, boutique shopping, and a restaurant & bar. I love that they carry local Wisconsin items such as my favorite pasta, Dalla Terra. They have a very nice deli and hot bar and this place has so far been bustling. The grocery prices here are definitely higher than others I've been to. For example: two organic bell peppers are $6.99! One lesson I've learned so far is to not go during 12-1 on a weekday during the school year. It seems like most of the high school kids who get an off-campus lunch go to Sendiks to eat and it's pretty chaotic.

First time here. I was attending a Yelp Event…read more I was super impressed with the store. I checked and there are lots of stores in the Chicago area but this appears to be the first in the Milwaukee area. It's a interesting concept. Everything is frozen, including meats, fish, vegetables and meals. There is a large selection of interesting, or what might be considered exotic foods. You can get cuts of Elk, Bison, and Venison. They have organ meats and oxtails. They have a large selection of shrimp, and some that are so big that you might mistake them for lobster. For many of the items, there are plenty of choices. For example there is not just one salmon or shrimp selection. They have at least 12 different types to choose from. For different locations, different types, different, and different types of production standards (organic, non-gmo, pasture raised, etc) The store is well organized. All of the standing freezers or wall units are neatly packed and well labeled. Pricing is easy to discern. It's easy to shop and find what you are looking for. I found the help to all be helpful, and friendly. The staff at the registers were patient, and chatty. I bought a couple of items, and looking forward to cooking up the pasture raised chicken (breasts) and the Gulf Coast shrimp. This is not my side of town, so it's a little out of my way. However, they explained that for $29 you can get a year of free deliveries. That's a great deal!

The improvement in both customer service and merchandising has been great. Excellent service at the butcher counter, the pharmacy and at check out. And the cheese "shop" is great, plus a surprisingly good wine shop for a grocer - the small "global" shelf is especially good. I feel lucky to have this Metro Market as our every day shopping spot.

Date of visit: December 14, 2025…read more I haven't been in this location in years, as this just isn't a part of town that I get to all that much but I was down the street at Colectivo with some friends and needed a couple items, so it made sense to pop down here to snag them. I either forgot or didn't realize that all of the traditional "grocery" items--those things you would find in the middle of the store at most grocers--are actually upstairs, with the lower level all of the more specialty items, though it was nice to walk through these other areas and fully appreciate that this is a bit of an upscale store; a true Metro Market as opposed to the one near me in Glendale that is a Pick N Save with a new sign. Once I headed upstairs I was able to find all of the things that I needed and even perused the Clearance section. This level was definitely in rougher shape than the fancy lower level, though it was also busier so that makes sense though I was expecting a bit more given that this is supposed to be a higher caliber of store. All in all, it gets the job done, but not really something that I would go out of my way to return to in the future.

Aldi in Glendale provides a decent and somewhat rewarding shopping experience…read more The upsides are the prices and the store layout. Its easy to find what you're looking for - as long as they have it in stock. The downside is the required speed at which the cashier is expected to scan your items. They are expected to scan up to 1200 items per hour or up to 50 items per minute. Aldi uses a performance metric which specifically rates cashiers efficiency - specifically the speed at which one transaction concludes and the next one commences. So why, in my opinion, is this considered a downside? It's because when I shop at Aldi's, I carry my own bag and do not use a cart. At checkout, the cashier will not place my purchased items in my opened bag as they are being scanned - placing them instead in the cart which speeds the process up but is inconvenient because I then have to remove them from the cart and put them into the opened bag - which is already IN the cart - all while the person behind me has to wait until the cart has been emptied so they can use it. Will this stop me from shopping at Aldi's? Certainly not. It's a minor inconvenience. The positives vastly outweigh the negatives. Something else worth mentioning - their fruit quality is hit-or-miss. Sometimes its fabulous and sometimes its not, especially the pre-bagged produce. Again, this will not keep me from the store.

Here's the thing I'll vouch for Aldi all day long. Love it, love the prices, love their standards,…read morelove their random isle of specials and home goodies. But hot dang this location needs more staffing. It's our usual location, so we're weekly visitors, and everytime we're there the line for checkout is sprawling down the isles. As for the store itself, this one is up to date, always very well-kept, and fully stocked!

Hot tip right off the bat: always use the self-check out if you can. I recently had another…read moresuper-bummer experience with the staff. The cashier most certainly did not want to be there, and was outwardly rude. Normally I brush these kinds of interactions off, but this time it just got to me. Essentially, their card reader wasn't working, and after I tried it a few times with no luck, the women working the register was in absolute disgust as if I had somehow broken the machine? She proceeded to tell me it was working just find until I pressed the button? This resulted in her shouting across the store to her manager to "come fix it." She talked to her manager rudely about me as if I wasn't standing there. To keep the rest of the story short, no one could get the reader working, and my further interactions were genuinely off-putting. Beyond disappointing. And in reading other reviews, it seems like many have the same kind of interactions here. As for the rest of the shopping experiences at this location, it's typical of your usual Metro Market with most all of your grocery needs. I'm not a fan of their hot-bar section however, as it's always either very limited or nonexistent. This is one of the largest grocery stores in the area, making it hard to avoid all together, so I really hope they can make some adjustments and improvements to the staff training. No one wants to be made to feel shitty or unwelcome when shopping.
