First time here. I was attending a Yelp Event. I was super impressed with the store. I checked and there are lots of stores in the Chicago area but this appears to be the first in the Milwaukee area. It's a interesting concept. Everything is frozen, including meats, fish, vegetables and meals. There is a large selection of interesting, or what might be considered exotic foods. You can get cuts of Elk, Bison, and Venison. They have organ meats and oxtails. They have a large selection of shrimp, and some that are so big that you might mistake them for lobster. For many of the items, there are plenty of choices. For example there is not just one salmon or shrimp selection. They have at least 12 different types to choose from. For different locations, different types, different, and different types of production standards (organic, non-gmo, pasture raised, etc) The store is well organized. All of the standing freezers or wall units are neatly packed and well labeled. Pricing is easy to discern. It's easy to shop and find what you are looking for. I found the help to all be helpful, and friendly. The staff at the registers were patient, and chatty. I bought a couple of items, and looking forward to cooking up the pasture raised chicken (breasts) and the Gulf Coast shrimp. This is not my side of town, so it's a little out of my way. However, they explained that for $29 you can get a year of free deliveries. That's a great deal! read more

Leave it to Yelp again,to have another wonderful event at a place I've never been too.They are so good at finding new experiences and businesses and introducing us to them.Very interesting selection available at Wild Fork.I love that it's protein focused. The selections available are wide and varied, more meat,poultry, and seafood choices then I have ever seen anyplace, and the prices were very good and competitive. I tried the paella, very tasty,and the gnocchi, my favorite! The duck slider was out of this world. If everything tastes as good as the samples I tried, then I couldn't recommend a stop at Wild Fork more! It's a destination worth seeking out and you won't be disappointed. We've tried many things here and have yet to be disappointed with quality or taste. Their tenderloin steaks are some of the BEST I've ever had (kudos to the mister on the cooking). We love their family meals - chicken pot pie, burgundy beef etc - about $12 and enough to feed 2 adults/2kids. Staff has been super helpful on every visit and they deliver FREE if your order hits the threshold ($50??) Absolutely yes. read more

I've always just passed this place by... I mean, it's all frozen, and who needs frozen meat when you can get fresh ones? Well! No one. BUT! This place has a ton of options that I can't find elsewhere! Including, but not limited to: pork hocks, picanha, whole baby pigs, aged meats, wagyu, ostrich, venison, quail, veal, turbot, goose, pheasant! I thought this was a restaurant until a friend told me it was. Great choices of farmed meats without additives. Also seafood, salmon and sushi grade fish. All frozen so plan ahead. Also, uncured sausages that include knackwurst and blood sausage. Some convenience foods too The store is clean and well organized and much easier to navigate than the typical butcher shop. So many choices. Great service as well. Prices are very reasonable for the high quality meats and fish they have. Will definitely be shopping here. read more

Incredible spot. They have a strong online presence which is how I found them a year or two ago. All cuts of every animal in stock including choice, prime and wagyu. Place is clean and organized well. If you are a cook that likes to try new things this is the place. Keep in mind, all items are frozen. So if you plan to show and cook dinner with what you bought, plan to show up a day ahead of time to let it thaw. Some of the more exotic cuts I saw were ostrich, veal, bison, a5 wagyu, varieties of lobster tails, picanhas, beef cheek, beef tongue, whole suckling pig and much more. Wild Fork is our favorite source for meats. The variety from seafood (sea bass and hake to octopus and lobster) to exotics (ostrich and aligator) is incredible.
