While my mom and I were in Milwaukee we came across Usinger's. I have bought some of their brats before from a local grocery store so I was excited to go to their main location. They have a nice variety of meats like sausages, brats, bacon, corned beef, etc. They also sell prepackaged deli meats. I decided to purchase the spicy Italian sausage. It was on sale and absolutely delicious! If you like spicy, this is for you! Love Usinger's and can't wait to visit again!

I dragged my partner in here on our walk around Milwaukee, and I'm so glad I did. What a cute little meat shop! The interior is definitely an old world vibe with cute paintings around the walls near the ceiling. They have a deli section where you can get lunch meats to order, as well as coolers full of items that are already wrapped and ready to purchase, such as brats, hot dogs, and summer sausage. I was also thrilled to see that they have an "imperfect" counter where you can buy things at a discount. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. This is a great place to stop once you've hit the cheese shop down the block (especially if you're not from Wisconsin!).

Asked the hotel where to get a great bite... he pointed out the window and said right there. He was right! Usinger's fast and friendly hot dog cart! I waited out 5 minutes (I was 8 in line) and walked back with two of the best street dogs I have had. The crew was up beat and friendly.

A must visit if you're in Milwaukee and like meat! I stopped by after numerous drive-bys and was pleasantly thrilled! If you're looking for a gift, you cannot go wrong with Usinger's! I stopped in their deli store and picked up various sausages, from summer to Italian to beef sticks and cilantro sausages. Since it was the holiday season, there was a slight wait, but I didn't mind as I could shop the meats in the chest coolers and take in the historic building. Upon entry you take a number to check out and order anything not in the coolers such as sliced meats or wearable merchandise. The pricing is very fair and I would definitely return. Everyone loved their meat gifts this year! PS. Stop in their Usinger's annex, where they have all of their holiday gift boxes on display for purchase! It's a wooden door and seems like your entering the elves secret sausage shop. The staff(or should I say, elves) were very friendly and answered all of my questions, especially since I was planning on shipping my gift box across state lines. They even have a gift box complete of WI cheese!

If you want quality sausages and bacon for an amazing price, look no further! Usinger's in the Old World Third Street district is where you need to be. Milwaukee is lucky to have this place nearby. If I lived closer, I would be a regular. Unfortunately the downside to eating such tasty treats would be an elevated cholesterol level and sodium intake! The real draws are the quality of their meats and cost. The pricing is simply mind blowing. My husband and I purchased 3 packs of brats, a beef jerky stick, liverwurst pate and 2 packs of bacon for under $23 after tax. Our favorites are the fresh bratwurst and the peppered bacon. One quick pro tip. Get a number as soon as you walk in and if you're going to buy in bulk, grab a cardboard carton from the carton pile just to the right of the door. The cartons sub as shopping carts and it will help keep all your stuff together when it's time to check out. For deep discounts, check out the imperfects case on the right hand side too. Don't miss Usinger's. Add it to your places to visit and if you're coming from a distance, bring your cooler! You won't regret it.

Great place to get a wide variety of Brats and sausages for a great price. There's also an impurities section were the brats are not in perfect condition but they taste just as good. A must stop whenever we pass by!

    All this for $23!

Great tasting sausages in an old historic building. To watch out for: 1. there's a mural of the process of making sausages all around the wall. Look up and you'll find them. it's in German, but you can ask for the translation, and they will give you a translated sheet! 2. the Imperfect table! Way discounted packages of goods, always changing depending on what they messed up that week. 3. bring your grandparents and get 10% senior discount on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays 4. there's a free 1-hour parking around the corner. Just tell the attendant you're there for Usinger's. But don't abuse the system!

Went in as tourists in the area. Service was great, in two minutes these ladies were super friendly and shared what they could about summer sausage and made polite conversation. Waiting to try their cheese next.

    Assortment of deliciousness!

The nicest people in the world work here! The young lady who helped me this am was super! The selection is overwhelming....but I found so many delicious items! Bacon, gigantic beef hot dogs and linguica sausage. Can't wait to cook it all! Can't wait to go back!

Stopped in to check it out. I was given a full hot and spicy beef stick when I asked to sample it, very generous! Free one hour parking and cheese mart at the corner. Fun for a quick stop.

I usually bring a few different kind of bratwurst back home but the summer sausage is also to die for.

First time here. I was attending a Yelp Event…read more I was super impressed with the store. I checked and there are lots of stores in the Chicago area but this appears to be the first in the Milwaukee area. It's a interesting concept. Everything is frozen, including meats, fish, vegetables and meals. There is a large selection of interesting, or what might be considered exotic foods. You can get cuts of Elk, Bison, and Venison. They have organ meats and oxtails. They have a large selection of shrimp, and some that are so big that you might mistake them for lobster. For many of the items, there are plenty of choices. For example there is not just one salmon or shrimp selection. They have at least 12 different types to choose from. For different locations, different types, different, and different types of production standards (organic, non-gmo, pasture raised, etc) The store is well organized. All of the standing freezers or wall units are neatly packed and well labeled. Pricing is easy to discern. It's easy to shop and find what you are looking for. I found the help to all be helpful, and friendly. The staff at the registers were patient, and chatty. I bought a couple of items, and looking forward to cooking up the pasture raised chicken (breasts) and the Gulf Coast shrimp. This is not my side of town, so it's a little out of my way. However, they explained that for $29 you can get a year of free deliveries. That's a great deal!

Leave it to Yelp again,to have another wonderful event at a place I've never been too. They are so…read moregood at finding new experiences and businesses and introducing us to them.Very interesting selection available at Wild Fork.I love that it's protein focused. The selections available are wide and varied, more meat, poultry, and seafood choices then I have ever seen anyplace, and the prices were very good and competitive. I tried the paella, very tasty, and the gnocchi, my favorite! The duck slider was out of this world. If everything tastes as good as the samples I tried, then I couldn't recommend a stop at Wild Fork more! It's a destination worth seeking out and you won't be disappointed. I bought several items(the gnocchi of course) and can't wait to try them out at home.Kudos to Jessica and Marissa, another winner!
