Been here several times. We come for the fresh (or frozen) sausages. It's a small boutique operation that does an amazing job of creating small batch sausages in a variety of types. On this trip I got several different ones including; sweet hungarian (my favorite), hot hungarian, weisswurst, reuben, and natural case weiners (you know that kind that snap when you take a bite!). Super nice people to answer questions or give suggestions. They also have a selection of cheeses, beef sticks, smoked sausage, marinated chicken, and steaks. A small family-run business. Bright, Fresh, and Clean. As soon as you walk into the shop you can smell the mixture of all the amazing fresh ingredients they use to make their sausages and other products from scratch daily. The service is fast, pleasant, and always with a smile, ready to answer your curiosity and questions. I'm 20 miles away from this place and I just so happened to be passing through this place and I was in need of something to grill. I purchased the Brats, Italians, Ground Beef, and buns. I'm heading back next weekend. Brats are huge and spot on with flavor, The Italians would be proud! The ground beef was a perfect mix of 100% grazed beef with the perfect amount of fat. I'm only 5 minutes from Karl's Country Market. I will be coming back to Weiss Meats!! This place has it spot on. The buns were too soft for my texture but the flavor was great. A compact meat shop with a heavy emphasis on the sausages. My favorites are the Spicy Hungarian , Italian and Polish. Their hot dog and hamburger buns are the best. Recently tried the 1/2 pound burgers and they were delicious. Thanks to the owner for answering questions and for selling a good product. read more
