I went to get a wire harness off of a pickup which was just put out yesterday. The wire harness was cut off at the bulk head. I talked to the employee at the counter today. I told him about it and that I have been here 3 times for the wire harness and every time they are cut off. He said well I don't know who did it. I told him the employees that work here are doing it. I have seen them doing it. The first time I was there an employee with a wheel barrow and wire cutters was cutting off wire harness off other trucks. If you're allowing employees to do this then why post the vehicles if customers can't get a chance to get what they really need. It's a waste of my time. Also if a customer was purchasing it they wouldn't have cut it off they would have removed it at the bulkhead for installation. I will not be back at this location! read more

This place is worthless, all of the trucks and vans are sitting in the gravel. They said it was because some got hurt using a saw. They said that they need to go with you into the yard and lift the truck if you needed something from under the truck. How foolish: 1) they look in all toolboxes coming in, if someone has a saw they can hold the saw as they look for the part they need, 2) if you give them back the saw then an employee can escort them to make sure they are safe 3) instead of doing this some pencil pusher decided let's place all the truck and vans in the dirt making it almost impossible to pull anything off the truck since without tires it's sitting in the dirt. 4) funny they are willing to take your money, strange they don't announce that getting anything from under the truck almost impossible. 5) if the truck you need is 6 or 7 trucks in they have to remove all of the trucks in that line to get to the one you want. 6) again it would have been easier to restrict saw without supervision. Silly me, that would not affect most shoppers, let's make it difficult for the shoppers and your staff. I come back and of course they let me know it's store credit only, and to top it all off they would t take back the cluster and do a refund due to the manager suspecting that I opened it up and removed the parts from inside that I needed and he flat out accused me of trying to rip them off, like bro it's $49 bucks not gonna break the bank on my end. I came to this Pick-N-Pull recently. The staff was very helpful. I was looking for a trunk part for my car. Was told which area to look. There are so many vehicles. It was a bit hard to find the car I needed. Ultimately, I ended up not finding what I needed. They charge you $2 just to walk around the vast lot. I was really creeped out by the smell of death around some of these cars. It was a bit morbid for me. And thinking about putting a part on my car where possible death occurred, really made me think twice about this way to find a part for my car. I will buy a "new"part now. While my experience may seem extreme, I totally understand why a place like this exists. Just not for me. 4 Stars for staff and inventory. read more

I don't write many reviews and when I do it is to say nice things. However, today I had such a strange experience at this place I can't just let it go. When I got to the counter with my husband, Ed, (the guy at the counter) asked to see our tool bags. I automatically opened my tool case. My husband showed him his tool bag. Then Ed asked to see my bag. I thought I had just done that. Ed has a lazy eye. So I assumed he was asking whomever was behind me. I looked to see who was behind me. There was no one there. I stared back as in, are you asking me? Did you not see what I just showed you? Ed warned, "I am talking to you!" I carry a cross body purse and it never occurred to me that he was asking to look inside my purse. Once I realized he was, I opened my purse and showed him. This is the thing, as we were trying to figure out how to take the ashtray out of the car (my husband doing the work and me looking at instructions on the phone) I happened to look up and there was Ed. This car happens to be parked way out and far away in a corner of their lot. It was so freaky to see him there on that corner. Both my husband and I got the impression that he was checking to see what we were doing. Did he think we were stealing something out of their junk yard? Really? I am Puerto Rican. Let me just say my DNA is 75% European and 25% Native American. I look Puerto Rican. But I do come from a lineage of white people in Puerto Rico. The juxtaposition and racial biology as well as the environment I was exposed to growing up was more accepting of others. Back then I was told by my white grandparents that white people may feel and act privileged but are not any better and in some ways are worse humans than most people of any other color. So Ed, I think you are racist. I do. I feel sorry for you. The weirdest part of all this is Ed never checked our bags on the way out. I just don't get it. That doesn't make any sense. Conclusion is that I shopped around and had my junker towed away today for $290 with no charge for coming all the way out to my house to tow. Pick n pull in rocklin is no good. Very uncooperative. I went for a blower motor and 1 hour later went to return it and forgot my receipt but the lady remembered me and would not take it back. At that time I also found out that I would only get store credit anyhow. Plus everything has a core charge now. It is ridiculous! Horribly rude I wasn't sure how it worked and I just walked right in and when I came out and asked how it worked. Th girl at the front desk rudely tried to charge me for the 5 seconds I was in their. She told me I could be banned from the yard for just walking in even though their was no employees at the entrance to let me know it cost to explore. All around it was a terrible first impression. I felt attacked and they certainly lost my business. The owners need to be informed on the poor customer service skills of their front desk employee. By far, absolutely the worst customer service I have experience ever. A lady by the name of Marie pretty much kicked us out of the building when we asked to speak to a manager. At first she said the manager was busy before even checking, when we asked her to please check to make sure she's busy she told us to get out of the building and that we were not allowed to be in there. We will be taking our business elsewhere from now on and I recommend everyone else do so as well. They seem to have a very disgruntled and unhappy employee running the office. read more

Most of the cars there have sat for quite a while from the looks of it (dust, and skeletonized junk). No great turnover in this place. What surprised me the most is how much they wanted for plain junk. I took an old taillight assembly off a car and they wanted $26 with tax! Crazy! I pull it myself and they "pick" my pocket. Very disappointed in this unprofessional business. My son purchased 2 mirrors for $40.00, wasn't given a receipt, nor was he offered a store stamp. I discovered that the mirrors didn't match, so I tried to return them. I was given the run around for a while; told that they didn't think the mirrors came from there and that they would have only charged $15.00 for them. I tried to get the manager to go out to the truck from which the mirrors had been removed, but she refused. I will NEVER do business with this horrible place again! What a ripoff! It would have been so simple to see that the mirrors did indeed come off of that vehicle. I would have even accepted a partial refund, since I should have insisted on getting a reciept. This place is terrible! First you are placed on hold forever, then whenever someone does get to the phone they tell you all the wrong stuff. You call back to find out what the hell happened and someone else tells you more wrong stuff. They told me they were coming to tow my car away 30 min after the Dispatcher called me initally. Dispatcher never called. I called them back. They said, oh they'll call first thing int eh morning. They never call in the morning. I finally call them back, and they try to move me to three days later, as opposed to the night before!. After some negotiating they decided they could send someone out to me that day, however that time can and passed and the tow company finally calls me and says, hey are we supposed to be there on friday!!???. WTF!!!! I never ever got the same answer out of these people. Worst place ever! read more

I have been to this location several times, helping my son find parts for his first car. I have had nothing but positive interactions with everyone who works at this location - they aren't able to physical things to help you, but I have had a lot of other help such as one worker who showed me an app where I could locate the rim size for my son's vehicle. Another worker helped me figure out locations of where similar cars were on the lot. On a particularly hot day, one of the workers offered bottled waters on the way out. The lot is clean, safe, and well organized. I feel totally comfortable with everyone there and their prices are great. read more
