    Decided to go through Carmax to sell my car. The online process was fairly easy and gave me a valued offer. I recommend before coming in selecting the express check out so you upload everything online and then all you do is go to the store give them your key so they can appraise your car and then signature then you get your check. I would also recommend coming early because they do tend to get busy especially weekends. The customer service was really well done I arrived for my appointment at 10 AM and left a little bit before 11, they have a waiting room and would call your name up once everything is completed. I would recommend Carmax to anyone selling their car, but also utilize their online system for a faster service as well.

    Went in with my guy to sell his car. He had set up an appointment online and even got a quote ahead of time for how much they'd buy it for. Honestly, we expected to be stuck there for hours and figured they'd lowball us once we got there... you know how these things usually go. But nope! The place was huge, super clean, and pretty busy, but everything moved quickly. We checked in at the used car desk, and after just a short wait, they went out to inspect the vehicle. Not long after, they called us into a little private area, had the paperwork ready, and honored the full quote down to the last penny. We signed everything and were done in like 10 minutes. No back and forth, no pressure. just easy, straightforward, and painless. They even took care of all the DMV paperwork, which was a huge plus. Big thank you to the team there for making it such a smooth process!

    Steve Edwards!!! -This is the guy to go to!!! My husband and I showed up with our son needing a car asap probably 35 minutes before closing on Tuesday night, June 16th I believe. There were two men asking us if we needed help, we explained our situation and the Indian guy said they closed soon and would not be able to do a test drive and that's where our guy Steve stepped in and said that he would stay late and help us out. We have never had such a great experience with such a great attitude in probably ever actually. We have bought a lot of cars. He hustled the entire time but was thorough and explained everything. No joke the whole entire process only took about a hour!! This guy is a superstar and I have told everyone we know about him! We found my son a safe good looking used car so quick and they had it detailed and filled up with a bow on it in record time!! I hope his employer realizes this guy stands out for real!! Thanks again Steve! We will be back when it's time for us to get a newer car!!

    Nothing is easier than a Carmax transaction. No negotiation, very black and white. Our sales person was kind and super easy to work with (+1 star for him). There is always risk when buying a used car but with Carmax they typically do a great job making sure like dents, windows, tires, etc are all repaired. That said, one week after the purchase of my car, I noticed a chip on the window. Sure, it could have happened after driving off the lot but the reason I am convinced otherwise is because there was clearly a tape mark on the windshield indicating Carmax had marked the chip as something existing (see image). Ive emailed Terra the office manager on 3 different occasions about this issue and have yet to receive a single response. Not even a no, we can't repair the damage. I've worked in corporate sales my entire career and not responding to a client email (regardless of the outcome) is simply unacceptable. Take this as a warning to thoroughly inspect the vehicle before driving it off the lot. I should have done a better job and certainly learned a valuable lesson.

    The customer service on everyone's part was awesome but I had just gotten an appraisal from a company that specializes in that sort of thing and I received a third of the worth of my vehicle. Because of the time sensitivity of me getting another car, I had to take the offer. Id just say the lowballing is unfortunate. The customer service was pretty good though. Maybe this will help you make an informed decision. 2017 Kia forte LX, Salvage title, and 123K miles. It was appraised at $1250 then looked over and bought for $400 by Carmax. This is just for context if youre considering selling a car here. Their customer service was very much on point and they made the process easy.

He was very knowledgeable about the products and helped us evaluate our needs to the appropriate units. Negotiations was easy with very little back and forth and closed the deal within an hour. Once the deal was done the paperwork took longer mainly because they were so busy for Memorial Day and it seems everyone was buying a Honda- lol. I purchased a 2019 Honda Clarify in April of 2025 and was initally very please with my purchase. But when I went to file my taxes this year, I found out the dealership did not submit the required time of sale report to the IRS so that I could claim the clean vehicle tax credit the car qualified for. I tried reaching out to both the salesman and the finance manager who sold me the car initially for help - ironically in an email where the salesman, Malek, assured me that one I buy from Honda I'm a part of the "Honda Family", and they never responded! I called multiple times with and was told another finance manager, Kyle Smith, was responsible for filing these reports. He never returned my calls or voicemails. So finally I drove all the way to Roseville from Sacramento to handle it in person. Kyle Smith, their finance manager, was incredibly rude and dismissive, and wouldn't let me get 2 words out before interrupting to tell me there is nothing they could do. He walked off and refused to help more. I turned around and found another manager who was able to go to their "controller" Sabrina Radoff and she magically found a way to press the required buttons to file the report they should have filed a year ago. No one apologized for how I was treated by Kyle or for not returning my emails or calls until I sent an email asking for an apology and explaining how awful my encounter with this business was. Lesson learned: Do not buy from Autonation Honda of Roseville - they are happy to help before the sale, but afterwards, getting them to do basic things to help you is like pulling teeth.

We were assured the car was reliable and in good condition, but immediately after the purchase, it began having issues. In fact, the vehicle has been at an auto shop since the day we bought it, and after weeks of diagnostics, we were just informed that it needs a full engine replacement. The mechanic confirmed the engine is beyond repair, and we're being told that a full engine replacement is the only option. That is absolutely unacceptable for a vehicle we were assured was roadworthy. We trusted Mo from Drivetime Plaza to provide a car that was safe and dependable. Instead, we've ended up with a financial and emotional nightmare. This experience has shaken our confidence in the process and raised serious questions about the integrity of the vehicle inspection and sales process. I urge others to be extremely cautious when considering buying a car from this seller, and I strongly recommend that the business take responsibility for the condition of the vehicles they sell--especially when those vehicles are meant for young drivers who rely on them daily.

It all started with a code. Todd Broyles immediately took on the build and made my dream happen. Not to mention, the best darn deal no dealership in California could give or match on a build. Todd, you da man! When the vehicle arrived, it really blew me away. From seeing it all in paper to seeing it in person, it was such a surreal experience. My first BMW, and I was surely impressed. I continue to be impressed by the drive, the features, and the luxurious feeling. Cassandra Bird was and IS an amazing individual. Sweet, caring, and an expert! She helped me finish up my paperwork, and she showed me and helped me customize every single option in my vehicle. She made the in-person experience so pleasurable. Cassandra was as equally excited as I was to take delivery of my first BMW. She truly made everything 110% better from the experience I was given in the mix of waiting for my build...which leads me to the bad. Christian C. was initially my salesman with Todd. I will say, Christian did not give me the experience I should have deserved with a new build. I never received any updates on the vehicle. Where it was, when it would arrive...the emails that went unanswered. Did I ask a lot of questions? Yes. Did I deserve the service I was given? No. If I was you, the one reading the review, I would not work with him. Ask for Cassandra. I promise you. Gretchen, the GM, was a great help in listening to my concerns and disappointment. She remedied the situation within hours. Sent me photos of my new vehicle, confirmed it was delivered, and she made sure no add-ons were added to the deal. Oh, I did not even receive delivery photos from Christian 5 days after the vehicle was sitting there on their lot, btw. I will say, I was highly disappointed initially with the service with said salesperson. Yes, I am extremely happy with my new X5, Cassandra helping me, and Todd making the dream happen. But the overall joy of building a new BMW and the anticipation of it arriving, definitely was ruined for me. You cannot get that back. One suggestion, better customer service.     I purchased a CPO 3 Series from Roseville BMW at the end of March 2026. The sales associate I…read moreworked with was friendly and professional, and the overall buying experience initially seemed very positive. My interaction with the finance manager also appeared satisfactory at the time. However, I later discovered a significant issue. During the financing process, I purchased a maintenance package that I was told would provide coverage for six years. A few weeks after the purchase, I learned that the package actually only covers three years. Had I been given accurate information, I would have evaluated the purchase differently. Since discovering the discrepancy, I have made multiple attempts to contact the dealership for clarification and resolution. Unfortunately, my calls have either been disconnected, or messages have been taken without any follow-up. While my experience with the sales team was positive, I am disappointed by the lack of communication and the apparent misrepresentation of the maintenance package. I would encourage anyone purchasing a vehicle there to carefully review all finance and warranty products and verify the details independently before signing.

    Did not purchase or even look at their inventory to be honest - I was kind of the customer who…read moreusually would get pushed off because I really had questions lingering from disappointment I had at the dealership across from here....i came in pretty hot and ready, so this review is purely based on my in person experience: after wasting time driving to roseville based on a deal Kia across the way said they had for me, I ended up coming here to mainly ask questions. instead of any forcing to pick a car or take a seat, I immediately was greeted and then walked to reception by Jack Slone, the consultant, who got my info quickly and proceeded to have the receptionist call a finance manager for me per my immediate request (all less than 60 seconds from walking in the door literally). And guess what - the finance manager, Sawan, happily agreed to come out (the phone was on speaker). Not only that, he gave me his undivided attention for at least 3-5 minutes - something other dealers don't even do when you've had your credit run numerous times AND drove over 45 min to get to the appointment. Anyway, from this experience alone I can say the service here is worth your time at the very least. The candor and attention to detail and overall urgency around my requests were front and center unlike other places where their objectives supersede anything you have to say. Job well done - I'll legitimately be back! Props to Sawan for his professionalism and Jack (sales consultant) and Charlie (receptionist) for doing their jobs without any attitude or pushback (literally very undervalued these days!)

We have a Honda Prologue that we are turning in for a buyback because it's a lemon/defective car. We got there to try and test drive a BZ first sales person we asked told us that they were all sold out and tried to get us into a CHR, just like the last time we asked for a 4Runner and they tried to get us in a Venue. 2nd BS. A "sales manager" came by and now all of a sudden there was a miracle, a BZ was available? What? Where did it come from? Lol. So 3rd and final BS. We did mention that our Honda Prologue was going to be returned as a buy back within a week.!The sales manager proceeded to try and convince us that he could go ahead and take care of it for us? So Toyota will payoff our car? And give us about 10k back after everything is done? We didn't know Toyota would buy our Lemon at full price? Plus all the payments we didn't? Again listening isn't really their strong suit at this Toyota dealership, that used car salesman mentality. We shall try Toyota again in a few years. We also went to Volvo and the experience was night and day, zero pressure, they were committed to giving us all the information, showed empathy for what we were going though and invited us back after we have dealt with Honda. Even showed us all the options with a smile.
