Peaches and cream matcha, shakerado (slightly consumed LOL)

AMAZING local bakery/coffee place. We got 3 different types of Matcha Lattes (iced - try them all!), and the shakerado with the homemade can sugar syrup. Literally to die for! Plus staff is so nice and gives off a very hometown loving vibe. We live 5 mins away, so happy to find this place.

Ice vanilla latte and the cherry Kolach

This place is so good!! Coffee is perfect and the pastries and breakfast sandwiches always are a hit! Bit outside the city but worth the drive.

Hands down the best cinnamon roll in Ohio. Great customer service, as well. Thanks for always bringing your A game in a super small town.

Looks like a 1950's style diner on the outside (and inside too!). Also resembles a river side or lake side diner on the inside. Portside is old school - but that is a positive in every way. Great menu and great food. We stopped for breakfast and totally enjoyed it. For us, we did Eggs, Home Fries (Potatoes), and Toast which sounds easy but as you know - people mess it up. Not here, the amazing staff was super friendly, and working hard. The food came out fast and hot. Tasted great. We are looking forward to returning when we are back in area for lunch or dinner. PS - we also bought a homemade Coconut Creme Pie to take to our family visit and it was a hit. Fresh and tasted great. Wish we had more places like this in Northern Columbus. Thanks again Ladies for great food and service. See you soon.

But man oh man the food is awesome and the breakfast portion sizes are great! I had the Southern Omelette, home fries, and sourdough toast. I could only eat 1/3 of the omelette, 1/3 of the home fries, and one slice of toast. The customer service here is top notch. If you're lucky, Larry might stop by your table and say hi. He told us he works hard cleaning tables and is there on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Thank you Larry for taking care of our table and stopping by to introduce yourself!

Today we came in because they have Minecraft Happy Meals. Kid K was thrilled. Service was friendly, but slow, and there were several mistakes on our order. It seems like there are a couple of people here who know what they're doing and a half dozen others without a clue. Issues were fixed. K liked her standard order (nuggets, fries, apples.) The toy was cool enough. There's an adult Minecraft "happy meal" so I will have to get that next, sigh. I got the new McCrispy Strips. I assumed they would be pretty standard chicken tenders. Nope. Extremely processed meat like the nuggets, extruded in long flat strips. Edible but not really pleasant. And a small portion for the price. Don't bother. Also, a special sauce for Minecraft month, Nether Hot or something. Moderately spicy, but one-note flavor, basically a hot pepper sauce. Meh. The place was a bit dirty, crumbs on tables, sticky floor in areas, etc. All the kiosks were down, and there was a wait at the one register open. We'll be back because it's handy and we have a kid, but otherwise I would pass on this one (and to be fair, I'm not a big McD's fan anyway.)

Food: Almond croissant is delicious. Crispy, flaky, soft interiors with a beautiful almond filling. This is the best almond pastry I've had in Columbus. I'd highly recommend. Maple pecan twist is delicious. Soft with a sweet maple glaze and crunchy pecans to top. This was beautiful down and tasted fantastic. If you're a pecan lover this is for you. I'd highly recommend. Pumpkin morning bun was phenomenal. This is one of the best pumpkin pastries I've ever had. A true pumpkin flavor with a soft buttery pastry. I'd insist on this item. Crème Brûlée Eclair was good. Butter pastry with a crunchy caramel topping and a sweet very well made cream filling. This was my first eclair and I'm not disappointed. I'd recommend. Plum cranberry Almond Tart was delicious. The plums and cranberries were fresh and added a nice freshness to the almond base tart. I'd highly recommend. Chocolate bombe was great. Cold ganache filling with dark chocolate chunks and a beautiful ganache and cocoa powder over the top. I'd recommend for chocolate lovers. Chocolate Caramel Pecan Feuilletine was great. It genuinely tasted like an upscale turtle. If turtles are something you'd enjoy. I'd highly recommend.

I think the issue is with the chocolate they use for the mocha but it had such an odd flavor that I couldn't bring myself to finish it. The croissant was fine and not memorable and I won't say too much on the macaron because I think I just realized I'm not really a macaron person so I can't fairly judge them there. The cafe is itty bitty and there is absolutely no seating inside so it's more of a grab and go situation. There are a few seats outside so hopefully you can snag a seat when the weather is nicer. Overall, I think there are a lot of other good coffee shops in Columbus that I don't see myself going out of my way to come back.
