The good and service were excellent... the servers were respectful and friendly. I just wish I could try all their entrees in one visit... lol

Whenever I'm in the south , I look for a Piccadilly's. I was lucky enough to find one in the New Orleans area. I was torn between the etoufee & catfish but settled on the etoufee. Our dining room attendant was Victoria. She went out of her way to make sure that we had everything that we needed. I'll make it a point to visit there again.

I have been pleasantly surprised on my last two visits to Piccadilly. I went for lunch about a month ago- the food was hot and fresh. A good bit of it needed salt/seasoning but other than that was good. The standouts were the hamburger steak and fried chicken. What I was really impressed with was their weekend breakfast buffet. The price is $8.99 per person. This includes an omelette station, a French toast/waffle/pancake station. At these stations the food is cooked to order. Then buffet pans of cinnamon rolls, bacon, sausage, turkey sausage, eggs, eggs with peppers/onions/ham, potatoes, grits, biscuits, sausage gravy, peach cobbler, and fresh fruit. Drinks are also included. The food was really good, and I will definitely be back.

Two words. Salisbury steak! Mouth watering delicious! Better than the frozen TV dinner you're accustomed to. Seriously, it's good to eat cafeteria food once in a blue to humble even the most jaded foodies out there. I've been coming to Piccadilly since I was a kid, and it's very consistent. When I get in my nostalgic school food mode... it's here I go! It doesn't disappoint. Even the staff reminds me of school cafeteria workers. So nice and accommodating unless they're yelling at you for skipping the lines and eating twice! This is childhood/adulthood comfort food at its finest. Sides are on point, and you don't have to wait for a school lunch menu to get your fix! Boom!

I took pictures of the ceiling and this is what I saw. Mold

This place used to be great. As a sat down and began to eat my food I happened to look up and this is what I saw , lost my appetite and left. I will never eat there again

Not a bad deal for $15.

Piccadilly features good basic home cooking. My favorites are the fried catfish and the fried chicken. Both of these are really good deal if you get them on the dilly plate. Cost less than $10. The sides are OK. Sometimes they can use a little more seasoning. But that's me. I'm a New Orleanean. But do try the carrot soufflé. It really is good. Of course it's a cafeteria so they don't take reservations but everything on the menu is available for takeout. Which is really good if you're sick of fast food. Prices are reasonable depending on what you get. Today I got a stuffed fish with broccoli and green beans and fettuccine Alfredo for sides. Also came with bread and an ice tea. All of this cost me $15. Not a bad deal. The service is solid. The waitstaff is friendly and will come and see about you often. They don't hover but they will probably call you baby, dear or sweetheart. LOL

Surprisingly delicious. We were in fact on the way to another restaurant - but we found it closed that day. So hubby drove down Lapalco, and when he saw the PICCADILLY sign exclaimed, "Hey, I love that place..let's go eat!" We got inside and found a friendly staff, and wonderful food. Ric has a bad knee; we right away noticed how helpful the waitress was. PICCADILLY is very accommodating to people who have a physical challenge. She took his full tray, and slowly walked us to a nearby table. Where we proceeded to get comfy, and chow down. I had the chicken, which for steam table fare was amazingly moist and tasty in a thick mushroom gravy. Baked potato with cheese, fried okra, a delicious pie unlike anything I've ever had before. Ric had the shrimp, and a bowl of gumbo. Everything excellent and fresh. Nice crispy salads. BTW, portions are sizeable enough that you're likely to take some home. Probably great fun if you bring the kids. We plan to go back on a regular basis. Yes, it was THAT good!!

Always fresh, tasty and good meal here. If you leave hungry it's your own fault. Best fried chicken, cornbread and dessert anywhere.

Our server, Christopher, was very attentive, suggested wine pairings, and gave us great recommendations. We started with the charbroiled oysters which is a must. They were large and charred to perfection on the outside grill, topped with parm and breadcrumbs. My friends ordered the filet and the gulf fish, and I had the charred cabbage entree, with a French gerwurztraminer blend. The mushrooms with the blue cheese sauce were so rich and delicious! Sweet treats were a no brainer. The blue cheese flan was creamy and decadent. A perfect ending to the meal. This is so far my fave restaurant in New Orleans. It's an honest, no BS creole inspired cuisine. 100% coming back soon!

And yet again, I am so thankful for Yelp steering me in the right direction yet again! A short Uber from the French Quarter brought us to what I believe is such a special hidden gem! The moment you step into Atchafalaya, you realize it. Ambience is amazing, quirky, cool, homey and cozy. Staff is amazing. We sat in our own private room and were treated to a very special delight of a dinner. I tried the incredible fried green tomatoes, the seafood soup (?) and the incredible steak...wow, everything was amazing. And not only did Chef Christopher Lynch come out to say hello to my Autistic son but the owner Tony Tocco did as well and it made his day! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

We arrived sans reservation, but were whisked straight into the courtyard -- arguably the best seat in the house on a pleasant Louisiana evening. Between the soft night air and the glow of the courtyard, the atmosphere alone deserved applause. The cocktails arrived first and immediately set a dangerously high standard: beautifully crafted, perfectly balanced, and the kind of drinks that make you consider canceling your plans afterward. Fortunately, the food rose to the occasion. The edamame and roasted Brussels sprouts disappeared with alarming speed, and the Amelie Salad was a standout -- generously portioned, fresh, vibrant, and substantial enough to be an entrée or ideal for sharing if you're pretending to be civilized. A special nod to Liz, who elevated the entire experience with spot-on recommendations, warm hospitality, and the rare ability to be both attentive and effortlessly relaxed. In a city famous for memorable dining, this meal still managed to feel special -- equal parts elegant, welcoming, and unmistakably New Orleans.

The host was extremely welcoming and friendly. Our server and helpers were over quickly to drop off waters and greet us. I ended up ordered the salmon. With it being so early and only one or 2 other tables besides my friend and me, the food did take longer to come out than I expected it to. Both of us did thoroughly enjoy what we got. The salmon was crispy on the outside with a nice sauce over it. We thought we'd have time to get dessert so we ordered a couple but that too took a very long time. We finally waved down our server to cancel and get the check since we had to be somewhere and he apologized and said their WiFi was going in and out so it could be that it was registering on the kitchen side. That may have explained why our entrees took too long. If it wasn't for the service and the food being great - I would not be thrilled about timing. We got there around 5:30p and had to leave by 7:15p so an almost 2 hours experience that probably could have been 1 hour.
