Took her about 10 minutes to get it all untangled. Now for the cut... she took about 8 inches off.. maybe more. WAY too much. To make matters worse, it was lopsided. I told her I normally part my hair on the side and she "checked it" after. And sent me on my way. Didn't even blow dry it. I get home, blow dry it, and see it's very obviously lopsided (see photo). I'm livid. It's so much shorter than I asked for I check in again online, go back in, and Jamie (bless her soul) IMMEDIATELY recognizes the error. She brings me back swiftly and fixes it. Now unfortunately, she had to take off even more to get it balanced. Her customer service was spectacular and I can tell she was mortified. I was on the verge of tears leaving the store. It took everything I had not to cry while she was cutting it. I won't be back unless it's for her. I understand my original stylist was new but while I was waiting originally the haircut before mine she had to ask for help from another stylist, which shows that she could probably benefit from some mentorship or continuing education so she can improve.

I requested a full removal of builder gel, a trim back down to my natural nail length, and then a regular gel polish. The removal itself was fine, but I did feel a little uneasy because the technician using the electric drill was frequently looking away from my nails while the drill was still pressed down. Once the gel color was applied, I asked for what I thought was a fairly simple leaf design. The first attempt unfortunately looked very messy and uneven--almost like a child had drawn the leaves. I ended up waiting for another technician to finish her client so she could redo the design. The second tech did improve it, but the process took much longer than expected. Overall, the solid color gel application was fine, but it seems like more practice may be needed for nail art designs.

When I finally got seated, I told the black barber that I just wanted a shorter version of my current cut. (11/11/25) Would usually update photos to the finished product once I'm don't but sadly won't be doing that in the future. unfortunately I had a terrible experience on my second time here. I booked a 12 pm appointment for a balayage and cut. I used the Vagaro app something that I've used at many other places. I show up to my appointment and wait. I'm checked in on twice and was told I'd be seen soon. Well I wasn't. In reality I was waiting over 40 minutes and by the time I would have been seen it'd be almost an hour past my scheduled appointment. Really if the reverse situation happened and I was that late not only would they have already cancelled my appointment they would have charged me a fee. What's icing on the cake is another customer had a 12:30 appointment and came in much after me and was seen before me :/. I'm glad it worked out for him. But honestly the customer service was terrible for me. I felt so frustrated and sad on what was supposed to be a fun self care me time. I don't need an excuse and a reason for your mistake. Own up to it. If you do care about your customer then do something about it. Don't just smile and give some excuse that it's okay and it's not that late. I would have preferred to be called or texted. If you're running late let your customer know. Don't lie and force them to sit and wait with not knowing when they'll be seen. Perhaps you should have asked me if a 1 pm appointment would have been okay. But instead they did not do that. They told me it would be soon when in reality it was much much later. They had no regard for my feelings or time. I also have found that in order to try to catch up on time to make for another appointment (whoever would have been after me) there's always a risk that they might rush you. And that is not something I want to ever risk for my hair and color. My time is valuable too and that was disregarded and disrespected. Unfortunately I won't be coming back. Customer service is everything in the business I choose to support.
