Got up early this morning to request a hair cut/color on YELP and within 15 minutes the owner Elizabeth responded and asked me to come in as soon as I could in the morning. Got to Picasso's and was wary greeted by the owner Elizabeth. She took me right away and started coloring my hair. Ladies, Elizabeth is so good and she knows what she is doing when she is coloring your hair. She then cut my hair in long layers and all I can say is, "Wow! I love it!!!! Her hair services did not disappoint me at all. I'm so glad that God made this appointment happen. You will love this salon as it is such a comfy place to go. The staff are very friendly and a very family oriented establishment. I love that they play Latin music. Brings back fond memories for me. Thank you Elizabeth for making me feel beautiful again. I got my haircut here a total of five times in the span of six months. ## The good: - good service. Very friendly and good vibes here every time. - I have had my haircut here by three different stylists (across my five times here). They all cut well and were incredibly patient to my requests. ## Area for improvement: - Every time i showed up, I waited at least 20 minutes past my pre-scheduled appointment time. It has become an expectation to wait. If you are on a time crunch, I would not recommend this place. If they were behind all five times I visited, it seems evident that this likely affects other customers. read more

I've been getting my haircut at Picasso for almost a year now and I have never once been disappointed. I've been routinely getting my men's hair cut by their stylist Moises. He is extremely attentive to detail and does exactly what I want and more! I've been to dozens of hair salons but none have compared to Picasso. It's a very fun and friendly environment especially cause of the owners small yorkie "Diego" that roams the studio and greets everyone who enters. My stylist no call, no showed my balayage appointment the week of my engagement photos. Nobody from the salon contacted me about this before I drove half an hour to the salon. I found out from the receptionist and another stylist after waiting for my appointment time. It was very unprofessional. The situation left me scrambling for an appointment on a Sunday, which was the only day I was available before my pictures. One of the other stylists offered to give me an appointment on another day, but was unable to accommodate my work schedule (which is why I booked my appointment well in advance for a Sunday slot). I secured my appointment and waited for the day later in the week. I arrived 10 minutes early to the salon and waited over 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment time for the person I booked with to tell someone else to wash my hair while she was still with another client. I told them that I was done waiting and I was just going to leave since my schedule didn't allow me the time. The person I spoke with was super nice and tried to convince me to stay or rebook. Elizabeth the owner of the salon is the sweetest! Her entire staff is so welcoming and kind. The little house rentivented into a salon is just the most adorable ever. Beautiful art inside. Great flat screen above the fireplace in the siting area with the latest runway fashion week styles looping in it! The salon staff is very serious about keeping up on their education. They are often taking classes at the salon and bringing educators in on their days off! All of the stylists at this location are very talented and sweet. Got an appointment same day with Maria. I have long thick black hair. She was very attentive and informative with all my questions. I was nervous because most places I go start by cutting off a lot from the bottom but she listened to me not wanting to loose my length but just add layers. Elizabeth, (the owner), did an AMAZING job. She matched the color perfectly and blended the highlights into the grown out balayage beautifully. I cannot say enough good things about Jonny! I never was the type of person to be faithful to one stylist, until a random appointment at Spanish Fly in Sacramento landed me with Jonny. After he cut and colored my hair, I was hooked. I ended up following him when he left that salon for Picasso. I have wavy, thick hair and have always had issues with people understanding how to cut it properly, especially when I want it cut short. It would look good when they would blow dry it out for me, but when I styled it naturally, it wouldn't work. Jonny understands how to cut my hair so that it looks good when I style it wavy. He even showed me how to diffuse my hair so I could style it at home better! I've never had a stylist take the time to show me how to do my own hair, and I'm so grateful for that. I use the techniques he's shown me pretty much everyday. We've also done a few things color-wise with my hair, from balayage to dying most of my hair silver! I've always been so happy with the results and get lots of compliments. Even more than that, Jonny is easy to talk to and has become one of my friends.
