He possessed a wide knowledge of various piano technologies and manufacturers all the while conveying a congenial, professional attitude. He'll be ready to make a purchase soon, so he wants to know for sure which one is just right. If you don't quite know what you're looking for, or need some elevated service, you might find someone, you might not. After placing my online order, the website had an technical issue and failed to create my order at the physical store level. Not only that, but the order disappeared from my account so the only way for an update on the status was to call customer support. I placed the order on a Wednesday, for the next 2 days after placing the order, customer support told me that the order was looking good and not too worry. After waiting all weekend for some update, I still hadn't received an update on Monday. Luckily one customer support agent caught something weird in my order and noticed my order did not get put through to the store. Shane from this location called me and explained the situation, which surprised me since the customer support agent was supposed to call me back with an update. Within minutes I got an update regarding the label being created. Fast forward to Wednesday (1 week after placing the order) no update regarding the shipment. Shane helped verify that the guitar did indeed get picked up by UPS and was on its way. Later in the day I received a message that the guitar was in my area preparing for transfer. Never did I think that an online order would be so complicated, especially in 2026. I called customer support and spoke with a supervisor to express my frustration throughout my experience, and the supervisor repeatedly tried pinning the blame on the store instead of the faulty outdated website. The employees at this location were very respectful and understanding whenever I called, and helped me at every step of the way. Although I had the negative experience with the online side of Guitar Center, this store was a huge pleasure to work with and I really hope they are being compensated properly for their hard work.

I'd wanted a steinway my whole life and bought a newly made Spirio 2026 piano. It showed up with…read moregrease marks all over it. Steinway told me to clean it with things that would have ruined it. Then they wanted to come out and sand down my new quarter of a million dollar piano. They would not answer one single question directly. Sent me a piano tech who, following their instructions used Murphy's oil soap on nearly raw wood, which since has turned to yellow spots. Our bench bottom is MDF. Steinway promised us a new bench, made us wait 6 months, sent another MDF bench. This company was purchased by Paulson and co and it's not Steinway. It's expensive, but the quality is gone and the experience was truly horrifying. I will never ever again purchase from Steinway. I also was sold into a Spirio piano by someone with quite a pitch, who forget to mention that you have to have the Spirio tuned 4-6 times a year and it's a minimum of $700 each time.
