One thing at a time. This is how I would describe Pi. It was my first experience here and stopped in with a group of 10 people (don't worry we called to give them plenty of notice before arrival). We arrived at 8pm we finally got our drinks by 8:30pm and placed our food orders. By 10pm I had not received the slice pizza I had ordered still. In fact each dish was being fully prepared, then sent out then the cook would initiate the next order. The next order would come out of the kitchen when the last one was taking their last bite. The cook was literally doing one thing at a time and very slowly. It was excruciating. We had kids that were now well up past their bed time still not having any food. Several of us left at 10 because it was just unreasonable. As far as the food goes- I couldn't tell you if it was good or not. Be prepared to wait forever- but if you've got a spare 2 hours give it a try. Good news is that after we eventually got our drinks the waitress was attentive with refills. read more

If you are tired of the tourist people's and are chill you should come check this out. Great local people to chit chat with. Super casual vibe. Plenty of parking and its easy to find. My wife and me shared a couple of light appetizers which were great and came out looking very good. I didn't get around to trying the pizza but my brother always does and it looked and smelled awesome. Pretty cool you can order by the slice of different types. Plenty of local and normal beers on tap and in can or bottle. read more

This place just has a fun and relaxed atmosphere. We ordered a pizza. They have some very unique pizzas on their menu. The food was very good. If you don't like pizza they do have items on the menu. The staff was very nice, helpful, and patient with us. There is plenty of seating and they also have a small patio as well. I would definitely go back. read more

Hidden gem of a bar. Stopped in looking for pizza while on vacation and was really happy with this place. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Place def seemed like a bar I would come to if I lived here. Regulars were friendly and bartender knew everyone's name. It was two weeks before Christmas so the bar was really decked out for the holidays. Draft beer about $4 a glass and snagged the medium 12" Tuscan pie which was really good. Even better bonus it was the end of the night and they had extra dough so they gave us a large Tuscan. Awesome experience at this place and I would absolutely come back next time. read more

Their pizza is very good and I appreciate the fact that they make each slice to order. There aren't any pizzas sitting under heat lamps. With that being said, they are a little expensive. A slice of Garden pizza (veggie), is $6.75. One afternoon I had 2 slices of Garden pizza at $13.50 - with tax & tip I paid a little over $17 for 2 slices of pizza! IMHO that's a bit too much. On the bright side, a gin & tonic was only $4.75 (HH pricing perhaps?) read more

Great service at the bar while I was waiting for my food, the pizza was really good. I took a slice out of the box to eat on the way home cause I was starving and when I woke up in the morning, I found the tell tail grease from the pepperoni on the console of my jeep lol read more

Do not come here and order a pizza!!! I'm really not sure why they even call it Pi Pizza and bar.. it should be Pi bar and late night pizza .. Got here at 7:38pm and ordered our food and drinks right away!! There were maybe 20 people here.. I had read the reviews and kitchen is slow.. WE DID NOT GET our PIZZZA UNTIL 9:14pm . I asked our waitress several times , it's 20 minutes then that passed then asked for the manager told 3 minutes , he brought our pizza out and I complained about the time and he siad " we have a small kitchen". He already had it scripted as to what he would say, no apology, just excuses so I said please walk away. However , our friends who got there at 8pm and ordered after us got their Italian beef with provolone sandwich and another friend got two slices of pepperoni within 30 minutes ! He's so used to the complaints he had no shits to give ! The worst customer service I have seen in Years...however, our wonderful waitress comped our last two drinks bc she felt bad , so I made sure she got the tip she deserved! My advice, don't order pizza here, eat before you come or decide you want a sandwich or salad, but Pi PIZZA is not the place to come for pizza . read more

I've gone here maybe five times and it's always the same thing; horrible, service because they're extremely understaffed, and the pizza is hit or miss. The garlic knots are awesome and if the pizza's done right and cooked all the way, it is awesome. We went to trivia last night, and it was packed, but there was literally one server on the floor, ONE, and she primarily worked the bar! And what we could only assume was the manager or owner, was also helping with food and drinks. Whenever I needed to order or get something, three out of four times I had to go up to the bar to ask for it. I don't know why he didn't have more people working last night, every table was taken! I ordered a margarita pizza and added two toppings. Have you ever seen a pizza with less cheese on it? I've ordered margarita pizzas from this place before and it's like they're skimping on the cheese. It was primarily all sauce and soggy as all get out, again, see the pictures. Two of my friends ordered waters with their meals, and literally never got them, literally! So they ate their meals with nothing to drink. Again, I'm not blaming the server, I'm blaming whoever the manager is who didn't have more people on the floor. There needed to be at least two more servers. I will not be back unless they are dead, and I am the only one in there. read more

First time visiting. Walked in and sat at the bar. Two employees behind the bar. Neither one acknowledged our presence, but proceeded to take care of customers who came in after us. Obviously no other option for us than to walk out. read more

Ordered a cauliflower crust pizza supreme and a glass of wine and my bill came to $40! When questioned she said the put a $7 uncharge for cauliflower crust! Arrived at 6:15pm ordered our drinks and a large pizza. Waitress said it could be an hour for the pizza. There were 5 or 6 people at the bar and maybe 10 or 12 at tables. AN HOUR FOR A PIZZA?? The order was placed and we had our drinks, we waited, and waited. The pizza arrived at 7:50PM. Our favorite pizza restaurant is Umbertos in Dunedin and even when they were packed never had to wait more than 20 to 30 minutes on a busy day! From what I'm reading Pi pizza seems to have a problem getting food out in a timely manner. If you're expecting food in a reasonable time, you won't find it here! read more

Great food and drinks. Amazing pizza and awesome staff!! Great part of the Pinehurst Pub peeps businesses!!

Honestly don't know why I didn't eat here sooner! Food is good quality, reasonably priced and large bar

Sketchy bartenders if you're trying to order food for your kids! Owner doesn't care. Seems like a drug dealer spot and pizza wasn't even good. Would not recommend. read more

We all agreed the crust was one of the best. Only one staff person was there, but she was pleasant and pizza was ready when I arrived.

Service is terrible very rude bartender her name is Vicky. I don't know how you could be any more rude I don't know why the place is so busy that's the time of year so it would be busy anyway, but I can just say Service no good, The bartender couldn't be any more rude. read more

Can't leave zero stars or I would have!!! I let them know a month ahead of time that we would be hosting a baby shower there. My son in law reminded them two weeks ahead of the event. We arrived, there were plenty of seats available. We were ask to leave because it was trivia night and they wanted to serve their trivia people. Worse yet, my son in law (father to be) was a regular customer of there's. I can't image treating a customer worse! 20 customer is 20 customers! read more

I can't believe I waited so long before trying this place, because they have the BEST PIZZA ever! The quality is far above anything I've had since I lived in NYC many years ago. I literally had to stop eating after my first bite, close my eyes and make yummy sounds and open a bottle of wine because it was that good. I was like, "OMG! This is the best pizza!" and it is, far superior to any delivery place. I can't wait to get back to this place :) read more

I had a meatball hoagie sandwich and two microbrew beers and it was great you really have to try their meatball hoagie very good

Very chill and clean. Good food! Great craft beer selection. Lots of sports Tv galore

Went last weekend for pizza. Ordered two pizzas. 20 min later the waitress comes up to me and says they are out of pizza! THE PIZZA PLACE IS OUT OF PIZZA. We were shocked and were so hungry we ordered sandwiches and an appetizer. The food came out over an hour and a half later! We should've gotten the meal for free but I didn't feel like arguing. If you want pizza go to the Domino's next door. My guess they won't run out. What a disgrace. read more

Best pizza around! They don't skimp on the toppings. Highly recommend. Friendly staff.

Great service, excellent pizza and they have plenty of beer

Update: last couple of times, the dough was different, not in a good way, tasted charred, and the sausage was chunkier and not as tasty. It's as if a different person was making the pizza. The change was just "weird". And a bit hard to get service when the place is full. read more

Great pizza. The sauce is some of the best in town and the mozzarella is the good stuff. Pizza people, you know what I'm talking about. Super friendly staff, great music, and a really nice selection of beer on tap. I'm going 7.4. Strong score. Put it in your couple times a month list. And on a golf cart friendly road, so come on North Dunedin, hop in that cart and check it out. read more

The sausage and pepper sandwich "will bring you straight back to New York". Yeah, looking for a refund. It was a takeout, so there wasn't much to do after putting it out on my table and biting into it. Dominated by the bread, this is a dry, bland sandwich seriously lacking in flavor and moisture; very disappointing. read more
