Pho toppings

Probably the most mid pho I've ever had. It wasn't bad, just lackluster. As soon as I saw these toppings come out I knew what was about to happen... not fresh bean sprouts, and lemon. Not even lime!! Lemon! I probably should've known better when there's food from 5 different ethnicities on the menu.

Great food, pho is excellent. Service is always friendly & clean atmosphere. The wings are also great!

Stopped in after leaving GameStop and instantly knew I was going to have a great meal. You seat yourself and someone comes over with menus so you can order. The restaurant was clean, spacious, and quiet, and everyone there was very kind. The food was absolutely delicious with generous portions. We tried the vegetable pho, the tofu ramen, and salt & pepper tofu. They were all incredible, but the dish I couldn't stop thinking about days later was the salt & pepper tofu. It was the perfect texture and the flavor was unreal. The green tea boba was also next-level. The menu is also crazy diverse, it's not just ramen and pho! If you're in the area, you need to check it out!

We went for lunch and were immediately seated. The servers were happy and responsive. Our meals were delicious and we had ample portions. The restaurant is clean and fairly quiet during the lunch hour. It's our second visit here and we'd recommend it to everyone.

This place was right next the Airbnb that we was staying. the food, service and ambiance was amazingly. There was no wait and food came out fast. This place is great after a long hike.

I was visiting from out of town and had stopped to get a keyboard at a nearby store when I saw the bright Pho sign so had to stop by. The server was absolutely awesome and even let me sample a generous portion of the Pho broth which helped me decide on getting a Large Seafood Pho. They let me substitute meatballs for Squid too. It came with 2 pieces of Pollock crab, 3 pcs shrimp and 1.5 pcs of meatballs (cut in 1/2 = 3) The small bowl was $9.95 but looked too small so I ordered a Large for $11.95 which afforded me leftovers. The To-Go items were $10.95 Fried Chicken Rice: very fragrant but needed to use soy sauce $6.95 Spicy Dragon Wings: flavorful and not too spicy $5.50 Fried Chicken Dumplings: It was satisfying but the "Special sauce" is a store bought sweet chili sauce. $3.50 Spring Roll: I got only shrimp without pork and it came with a peanut sauce. The shrimp was a little fishy though. I'm glad I just got 1 order of 2pcs. (4pc for $6.95) This is a really good Vietnamese restaurant with great prices. I hope they have the Lemongrass special sauce the next time I return so I can try out their Killer Combo.

Tucked away in the Walmart plaza this place is a tasty gem! Our server was fantastic and kept coming by to refill our drinks, make sure the food was tasting good and see if we needed anything. The summer rolls with the peanut sauce were yummy but we added a little hot sauce. We decided to try the Spicy Dragon wings and they were delicious! Juicy and tender with a wonderful sauce - sweet and spicy. Pho was just as expected- hot and tasty! The fresh plate had plenty of bean sprouts, jalapeño peppers and fresh basil. (We like a little cilantro but it was still delicious.) The restaurant isn't huge but seated plenty and the service is fast and friendly. 100% we will be back next time we're in Cullowhee/Sylva.

In town for the weekend and our Catamount daughter had heard good things about Pho & Grill. Party of six visited on a Saturday night and were seated immediately. Not much atmosphere-- looked more like it would be a counter service place -- but wait staff was attentive and prompt. Husband and I ordered the spring rolls as an appetizer. They were big and tasty. We all ordered pho noodle bowls -- chicken, vegetarian, seafood and the combo bowl. Portions were generous-- especially the large! I also loved the topping plates they brought out heaping with bean sprouts, cilantro and jalapeños to add to our bowls. There was minimal seafood in my bowl and husband said there wasn't much meat in his. Kids all enjoyed their bowls. Overall, a very nice cuisine addition to the Sylva area.

I'm in Sylva for a week taking a WFR course down the road, and each night I head to "town" for dinner. I've been to this restaurant 3 of my 7 nights so far. There are other good restaurants in Sylva, but I've really been craving Asian food and this place definitely hits the spot. It was a pleasant surprise to find a Vietnamese/pan-Asian restaurant in such a small town. The past two times I got the pho and it was delicious. Today was tried the pad Thai, which was also very tasty. Portions are large and prices are fair. There's a decent crowd each time I've been, so it seems like a popular place frequently by locals.

Very tasty food. Fresh flavors and excellent service! This place is fusion so there's a good variety of choices, rice dishes, salads, wings, rice wrapped rolls and more! We are from Indiana and very glad we read about this restaurant. Thanks for the good food and friendly service!

We came on a whim and discovered this gem 15 minutes away from Maggie Valley…read more Store is beautiful and clean. We came on a Thursday late afternoon/Early evening and got sat quickly. Waiter was spot on - tended to us quickly to get our drinks. He came and took our order and food came out fairly quickly. The vegetable tempura was great - not greasy and this one had broccoli and eggplant (I dont like eggplants but I am sure someone will.appreciate this). Fried rice - even though it was kids, it was fantastic. It was not oil soaked and the flavor was so clean. Even my picky husband said it taste so good! Rice was not mushy.. it was, excellent! The Chow Hor Fun? I wont lie... I disnt have high hopes as a restaurant in the Carolinas. Boy was I wrong! The noodles were al dente, beautiful mix of all the veggies and protein. Sauce was a little sweet for my taste, so I was able to request for some chilli sauce and was all good. Also, not greasy. I was happy. My husband got the tuna sushi nigiri, tuna roll, salmon nigiri and white tuna. It was really good! Everything was bright and did not smell fishy. Last note - portions are freakin HUGE! Like i ate a third and took the rest' and the container was full. My daighters "kids" fried rice was packed to the brim. Expect left overs, u less your a competitive eater. The price, value and quality, this was def a 5 star - our first and only in our vacation here. Highly recommend - speaking as a Chinese vacationing in the carolinas that was getting desperate for any semblance of chinese food

Good size portion but just no flavor. Nice waiter but any request seemed too extra to handle. Not many people in the place but they had us all crammed into one corner- hard to back up your chair. Two years in a row, I have been stuffed after eating one of their dishes. For being amazing, they have earned the coveted five star rating from me. Their General Tso's Chicken is sweet, but not too sweet...with just the right amount of kick for my weak self. It just works for me, to be honest. It is served with huge chunks of cooked green pepper, and that was good! Mmm! Gotta have your veggies with your fried meat concoctions! That's what I had last year. This year I went basic and went with hibachi chicken, and boy did that hit the spot! Brown rice is the norm down here, if you don't know. And that worked well with the hibachi chicken. The broccoli was crisp and tasty and went well with the flavor of the sauce and chicken. If you want some chinese takeout and you're in Pigeon Forge, this is a good bet!

There are several nearby lots also pay-to-park but some may be free on weekends. Kaizen appears to me to be more akin to an Izakaya than a noodle hosue, where you basically go for drinks and they supply some food to keep things going - it has a more expansive menu than an Izakaya (which tends to be yakitori and sushi) - Kaizen's menu features several noodle dishes which all looked very interesting. We started with the appetizers and ordered some mixed steamed buns and soup. All of the buns that I tried I liked quite a bit - some strong, distinctive flavors. For an entree I ordered the Koji-Cured Ribeye medium-rare - 12 oz sliced ribeye, gai lan, broad bean paste, steamed rice. The steak was cooked perfectly. The service was exceptional - the next night we tried Fin-Two Japanese Ale House across the street - this restaurant was my preference - the flavors seemed more authentic and the quality of the dishes better in my opinion.

None of the spaces are marked but it's not difficult to figure out where to park. Since the lot is gravel, be aware if you have mobility issues. You can park near the entrance but not adjacent to the building so there will be at least a short walk to the door. There is also a small step up to the porch in front of the door. The pickup window is next to the entrance door which is a nice touch as the interior is small and would certainly get crowded if to go orders had to wait inside. The interior is small with table seating for about 20. There is also a small outside patio for warmer weather dining. There are several windows allowing you to look over the very near river. We got there shortly before they opened and were seated within a minute of entering. We got a nice corner table next to the river. Our servers were very pleasant. They went over the menu and specials and were very patient answering any questions. One thing to note is they do not allow substitutions, so read the menu description carefully to be sure you know what you are ordering. We wound up ordering their daily specials. Unfortunately, I forgot to take note of what they were called. One was a curry and the other included short ribs and soup. We also ordered spring rolls. The spring rolls were brought to the table in about 10 minutes. They were hot and crunchy and excellent. The dipping sauce was a touch spicy and really brought out the flavor of the spring rolls. The main dishes were brought out after about another 15 minutes. The curry dish was outstanding. The meat was tender and seasoned very well. There was a slight overall spiciness to the dish, but it quickly settled into a warm glow that simply begged for another bite. The short ribs and soup special were also outstanding. The ribs were cooked perfectly with the meat falling off the bone. The soup was flavorful and the ingredients fresh. We ate until we were stuffed and then ate a little more. We simply could not finish everything and took the last bit with us, and it was just as good reheated the next day. We also decided to take a mango and coconut milk dessert to go for later in the evening. This was a wonderful finish to a great meal. The mango was fresh and flavorful. The coconut milk and sticky rice made for a great taste texture. For such an unassuming building the dining experience would rival that of any big city. The fact it is located in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina allows it to offer an experience unrivaled by any better known restaurant. If you are anywhere near Sylva, you own it to yourself to partake of a meal at Dalaya.
