Great restaurant we order take out from here often. They have great egg rolls and give you free donuts with big orders.

Fried Calamari was from a frozen package. Breading was horrible. I ordered the singapore noodles read the description. It didn't say bean sprouts which I hate because they remind me of worms. And it had bean sprouts. Very disappointed. Especially for $48.

It was professionally run and offered to make modifications to their made-to-order dishes. I figured mine would be okay, but the broccoli on the side I could have done without. Sesame tofu is a dish that I often find is too sweet, but here there was just enough savory flavor to balance it out. Between that and some tea, I got a needed meal before a hike. I'd rate it lower in Asheville, but farther out here, vegetarian options were limited so I count this as a win.

I give two stars, somewhat reluctantly. One star for the service as it was good, and one star for the cleanliness of the restaurant. The restaurant is very clean and the storefront is about what one would expect in Bryson City North Carolina. That's where it stops. The food, not good. We started with the dumplings, the dumpling skins were like cardboard. I had a Thai inspired shrimp dish, while the shrimp were cooked perfectly, and the vegetables fresh, the sauce was overwhelmingly bad. And there was entirely too much sauce. My girlfriend had hibachi chicken, or possibly the teriyaki chicken. The chicken was cut up little pieces and they were dry as a bone. The next time in Bryson City, we will skip the Chinese food. I should've known better. read more

A group of us visited at the hesitant suggestion of an employee at another place. He stated it's his go to for consistency and quality. We ordered Pho, pancit, and fried rice. All the food came out hot and corrections. The pancit was good but it was a little lacking in flavor. Our server was kind . The restaurant was clean and the crowd was consistent. read more

Hidden gem for Asian cuisine in the mountains. Ate here on a Wednesday evening and the restaurant was very quiet, so it was quite relaxing after a busy day hiking. All of the staff were great, from the hostess to our waiter everyone was very friendly! Our table had the teriyaki chicken, hibachi chicken, and sesame chicken and each person enjoyed their meal. We will definitely be back next time we're in Bryson City. read more

the food here is awful. I ordered Kung pao shrimp and chicken lo mein, while visiting the casino nearby. The kung pao shrimp sauce was watery and shrimp was essentially boiled to a rubbery state in the sauce. I took two bites and discarded. Chicken lo mein was awful, too. I don't know how you can mess up chicken lo mein but it was bland and unedible. I took one bite and trashed it. Three bites and 27 dollars wasted. it's really sad that this is the only Chinese restaurant in a small town, making no effort to serve good Chinese food. As an Asian American, Please do not eat here. This is not Chinese food! As Visit other local restaurants that care about your patronage. 0 stars! read more

This was a highly rated spot in Bryson City, conveniently located off of the main strip. Was lucky enough to snag the final two tickets for the Polar Express, and ran here right after! It's an interesting ambiance, gives typical restaurant vibes - not extremely cozy or fancy. The server was very attentive and kind, he literally did not miss a beat. As for the food, I was assured that the tofu dish was vegan. It was really good, but I do have that feeling that it wasn't vegan based on the way I felt after. I I was only able to get a few bites in before my stomach felt off. If it was vegan, it was a tasty dish. This seems to be the only spot with veg options around town. read more

We're from Atlanta and have family out in Bryson City so come by once in awhile. I've had better Chinese in Chinatown, but this is Bryson City and not a huge city. This is probably the best restaurant I've been to in Bryson City & serves up consistent food. The fried rice is simple, nothing in it except sauce so great for a picky eater The honey chicken I had was good.. very sweet and chicken pieces were huge. I would order this again for sure The Mongolian chicken was also excellent. Sauce was solid & plenty of chicken to veggies. Steamed rice had an excellent texture to it. The service was good, friendly and efficient. They have a private parking lot but it's not too big so might have to park on the street when it's busy Spring rolls are good. Perfectly crispy Good choice if you're in town and want Chinese. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would, 15 minutes of my life I will not get back, I walked in no acknowledgment, it took five minutes for them to finally acknowledge me. I sat for 10 minutes. No one came over not even to offer me a glass of water. I will never recommend or be back.. when I mentioned it, I got no apology just " we're busy". PS if they were busy, I would understand. However there were several empty tables. read more

Honestly, the food wasn't bad. The problem lies within the process of getting the food. My lovely grandpa and aunt wanted something that was very simple. Steak and shrimp entree. But somehow, they bring the wrong things multiple times. Also- there was a single, black, thick hair on one of my pieces of sesame chicken. I'm simply leaving three stars for the trouble with ordering. But it might be a rough day, for it is Mother's Day. So I still recommend coming here if you want some good Asian food. read more

We visited here on our first night. I loved my pad Thai noodle with chicken, shrimp and beef. My husband got the beef pho and he did not love it but he has high expectations for pho. I would definitely visit here again. They did have my favorite cheap wine which was a plus. read more

Worst asian food I have ever eaten in my life. Green curry with chicken had no curry only boiled chicken and veggies. Same with the red curry that we ordered. Crab rangoons were soggy and sweet which they are not supposed to be. Beef lo mein was ok. Pad thai was the WORST! So bland no peanuts, no sauce, no spice! Do not recommend this place. read more

My wife and I were pleasantly surprised by this mountain town Chinese restaurant. The atmosphere is nice, the staff was friendly, and the food was good! We got the crab Rangoons, Mongolian beef, and Kung pao chicken with a side of broccoli. My only complaint is that the prices are a bit steep. We ordered a side of broccoli that turned out to be $6! Other than that, I would recommend if you're traveling through and looking for some good Chinese. read more

Not good. We bought 2 entrees & it was around $36. I bought Generals chicken which I thought was General Tso's. Nope! It actually tastes like BBQ & I cannot finish it. The chicken tastes old. The fried rice isn't that at all..just white rice with soy sauce & no veg or egg. An expensive mistake. read more

I went there tonight got there at6:40 pm and sat there til almost 7:00 and all they did was sit us down and give us a menu and wait staff walk by us and severed people who came in after us and they was not there more than a minute I'm giving a star they don't deserve it read more

Parking is tight. 2:30 Sunday afternoon and there is a line. It's dark. It's old. It's cramped. It's packed. Pay as you enter at some booth that looks like a fortune teller would be sitting in it. If the fortune teller was indeed there- they would say you are about to be forever changed. We paid- got seated- and headed to the buffet. Holy guacamole Batman. It's tight and crowded. They had prawns or maybe crawfish- missus loved them. They had shrimp. Fried fish looked rough. They had everything you can find in a Chinese food place. They had miles of noodles, piles of egg rolls and dumplings and spring rolls. They had ice cream and cookies and desserts. They had cakes and puddings and yes- a salad or three. If you got to a buffet and eat a salad- you got issues I can't fix. The final test: missus says she didn't see red jello. It isn't a real buffet without the red jello. I went looking. Yes- three kinds of jello. How did everything taste? Missus liked it all and really liked the potatoes ( why, just, why.) I thought the place was absolutely terrific. Old and a bit tired but the food was so very good. The service from our waits was good. She would say to people "I see you" and smile as she took the empty plates or refilled glasses. We paid $12.99 per person, plus $3 per person for drinks. With tip is was like $38 ish bucks. I can spend that at Freddy's or Burger King for two people. So- if ya haven't been there, try it. If ya have- you hopefully had the same great experience we did. Ive included a photo of the jello, just to prove how authentic Sakura is.
