This urgent care was clean, staff was friendly and service was very fast/efficient! Lab draws/injections were done with good technique. Wait times are long but comparable to other urgent cares I have visited. I was estimated a wait time of 30 minutes as a "walk in" client but waited over an hour for service. Total time at the clinic was 1.5 hours. Immediate cares are ALWAYS busy so you must come prepared to wait! You also must know what you are having done/double check what is being done! I don't suggest you visit for a medical concern unless absolutely necessary. It's best to have a relationship with a primary care provider so that they know you, have your health record on file and will probably provide a more accurate comprehensive service. read more

Wife went for a potential eye infection. Nurse and doctor would not even see her without giving her a vision test. One, her eyes are checked twice a year. Two, she either had an infection or something in it. In what reality does a doctor not even look at an eye to assess the problem. My wife refused all treatment and left. They had no problem collecting a co-pay though. Place used to be decent, now complete trash. read more

Horrible time management, made an appointment for 12pm and arrived at 11:30 to be early. I wasnt seen until 12:45 and multiple people that arrived after me were seen first. I took my son there right when school had started up again after covid hit. The school required a covid test. Which according to the United States government should be free to anyone needing one. I keep getting sent a bill for over $250 for the test. They claim to not be a part of the CARES Act and therefore can charge. They are such an overpriced scam of a facility. I hate going to doctors. I don't ever end up getting any doctor appointment or visit unless I know something is definitely wrong with me and more than just a cold. There is an ongoing trend where no matter what, I am always told on first visits to certain places that I just have a cold, even when I insist it is worse. Dropped in a few different times to the Physicians Immediate Care hoping to get treatment for illnesses, but received the same "it's a virus" diagnosis every time. Quick check of vitals, lungs, look at the throat and ears. "Yeah, it's a virus." First time this happened, I was back a week later with the same illness when it was finally decided that I might actually have an infection and could get antibiotics. Sure enough, when I got the antibiotics I started feeling better within a day. I had told them I had been sick for a week and a half on the first visit, but they said it is common for a cold to last that long so don't worry. When I came back in a week later, they asked why I waited so long to get this checked out. "Whatever" I thought. I got my meds. I'll move on. Last week, I came in with a harsh cough and chest congestion that I had been dealing with for a week. I told the staff I was coughing a lot, fevers at night where I would wake up in a pool of sweat. Pain in my joints. It was near closing time l, as I had arrived at 7:50 and they close at 8...something that the receptionist, nurse, and doctor had all mentioned...clearly not excited I showed up right before they were going to get to go home. Once again, I was told I have a cold. "We've seen this same thing a lot lately. You got what a lot of people have." I argued that it felt worse than a common cold...that breathing was tough with the cough... which was why I came in and I was just told it was a cold and I needed to just get good rest and drink fluids and eat healthy. Fast forward to five days later, still feeling terrible. I decided to go to a different urgent care in the area as I was unhappy with my results from Physicians Immediate Care. Within a minute of seeing me, the doctor knew something bigger was up. Turns out I've had pneumonia the entire time. The extra five days of not being treated were really unfortunate and frustrating. I plan on never going to Physicians Immediate Care ever again. While the building is clean and looks professional, I felt rushed out by the staff and not properly treated or looked at. Can't wait to get the bill that I get to pay from my 10 minute visit where my pneumonia was a common cold that would just go away on its own. ***For the record, the comment they left me asking to email them...I did to no response...again, showing how this place operates.*** read more

I've been here a few times now and everytime I've scheduled an appointment online. I walk in and they say it's an hour and a half wait. There is no reason for that long of a wait if I have made an appointment. They shouldn't offer appointments if they can't accommodate their no wait if you schedule an appointment. Maybe to fast... they prescribed me the wrong medication and the wrong route of administration

Wait is long. they have a board that tells you how long your wait is. when the max wait time hits, your name drops off the board even though you're still waiting. I speculate so they can say, wait is not as long as it was. Met with an APN who checked me out for 2 minutes and took 10 minutes to do the paperwork. By the time I finished, there were 5 people waiting. They have about 4-5 employees in the front. Not sure why when they have people waiting. There was (allegedly) no wait when I arrived and yet it took me over an hour. My expectations were not met. read more

I made a reservation online and the website told me the next available appointment was at 115pm. They texted me 20 minutes before 115pm and told me to check in. When I arrived, they told me it was a 30-40 minute wait. The drop ins ahead of me were given priority. If a walk in checks in 5 minutes ahead of you, they have priority over you. What?????Very misleading and I'm not sure what the point of having a reservation is if they put the walk ins ahead of you. I ended up getting into a room in the clinic at 205pm, 50 minutes after my "appointment". Fortunately there is another immediate care in town. I will be using them in the future. Update: called their customer service and they were extremely rude. Had my insurance holder call them and explain that they were wrong. They did refund the correct amount. But the process to get there was not easy at all. Still do not recommend this place at all. I had an absolutely horrible experience at this establishment. They did multiple tests and gave me no answer to my problem so I had to make an appointment with a primary care physician anyways. Then, they charged me over $200 for making me wait for an hour and a half and give no answer to my problem. Will never be going back there. read more

Quick and efficient. We were unable to get an appoint with our primary physician, so I brought my son here when he was ill. We were greeted by friendly, professional staff and received the quality of care I would expect from our primary physician. I also love that you have the convenient option of being able to get your medication right there at the clinic too! read more

Having taken a tumble down the stairs I found myself a patient at the Physicians Immediate Care in DeKalb. From the moment I entered the clinic I felt that the medical care I received was truly caring and professional. All though the clinic was extremely busy on this Saturday morning the entire team never appeared rushed and took time to make sure I understood my diagnosis and had answered my questions before I left. Truly a wonderful, clean, caring and professional urgent care that was able to meet my medical needs without the high cost of an emergency room. read more

I was in at the immediate care with a super sick 5 year old on Friday evening, I have been there before, but it was such a great experience this last visit. The front desk CSR, Nurses, and Doctor were all so tentative. I had debated going to Kish ER and was so happy I went to immediate care instead, I'm sure I saved myself time and money. They saw us right away and were very comforting to us both. When your son has a 104 temp you are a little frazzled and the Doctor made sure I was informed with all they were checking and totally eased my stress. read more

Never go here. Three years ago I went for numbness in my leg and neck pain. Patricia Adamski told me I was pre diabetic and would not give me a referral to see an orthopedic doctor (since I had HMO at the time, I had to have a referral). I finally got PPO insurance a few months later and could walk my butt into an orthopedic clinic without a referral. And what do you know, I WAS NOT pre diabetic at all! I had two herniated discs and degenerative disc disease. Thanks for the bogus diagnosis and facility fee that I had to pay for. read more

Why schedule an appointment if walk-ins will still go before you. I had an appointment for 9:15, received a text saying they were running behind and my appointment time had changed to 9:35. Then another that they had changed it 10:22. I arrive at little after 10 and was told there are 2 walk-ins ahead of me and it'll be 1 1/2 hr wait time. All this time I was waiting at home had I know I would've waited in their waiting room. So frustrating especially when your not feeling well. I've scheduled other appointments at walk-in urgent cares and appointment take precedence over walk-ins. Needless to say I left and was not going to wait read more

My daughter was sick so I went to the clinic but they were all backed up and didn't feel like waiting. Didn't really want to sit in the E.R. Stopped at physicians Immediate Care and was able to get out pretty quickly. The staff was all pretty friendly and helpful too. I've been there a few times since. read more

It was busy when I took my son, it's a walk in they get seen in order of arrival, so the 45min wait was not unexpected, the staff were nice and polite, PA was very thorough and pleasant wish I had gotten her name so I could mention her and others by name they deserve credit for good care. I saw Dr. Vogt twice for two separate ailments about a month apart. Both times he seemed grossed out and inconvenienced by me. Poor bedside manner. Horrible Experience! Would not recommend! My mom had a Dr. with a ugly bedside manner. I decided to give it a try today because I thought I had strep. The nurses were great but the Dr. was just plain rude. After telling me I didn't have strep he sent me home telling me to gargle salt water and drink tea and honey...really doc.. My throat is killing me, I was up all night drinking tea and honey because I couldn't sleep...if I wanted a google exam I wouldn't have wasted my time coming to you! Please give me some credit for doing the easy stuff to take care of myself before coming to see you... Oh and by the way, just because someone asks for something to help with the pain does not mean they want a controlled substance. "We don't prescribe controlled substances for a sore throat"...oh really doc...I want asking for one! seriously horrible. Called my primary care doc who took care of me ...just because they were closer does not mean they were worth my time. read more
