Or to put it another way, they drew my blood…read moreadequately, I guess, but since I had already paid for the blood draw out of pocket (through another company that had a financial relationship with Labcorp -- at a rate that was much lower than what Medicare would have charged), I told the Labcorp tech SEVERAL TIMES not to bill Medicare -- which of course she did.. She billed Medicare, against my wishes, and then, when I didn't pay Labcorp's bill (because I had already paid Labcorp thru another company that had a financial relationship with Labcorp), they came after me almost daily, ordering me to pay them -- money I had already paid. This went on for months. It was finally "resolved," but only because a kind employee finally took pity on me. Yes, there was one employee who was kind--out of many employees. That was several months of harassment that I will never get back. A terrible experience. Wish I could have given the place a ZERO rating.

There was no indication this was an emergency room and would be billed as such. The visit and treatment took ~5min. I received a bill for over $400 saying that this was an emergency room visit. I spoke with Edith B about disputing the bill, and she was no help. I would not recommend using this location for any medical treatment. The staff are not friendly, and will lie to you. Everyone working here should be ashamed to say they work in the medical field.

Informed (via phone) I would be notified by text when they were ready, so I should stay close by. Instead of staying in the tiny, overcrowded waiting room reeking of BO, I stepped into the hall outside. Just outside the door. I went back in about 15 minutes later, but no one was at the desk. I went back in a third time at 10:37am because I hadn't been texted to ask how far behind they were running. LaTrice tells me that Robin had called my name twice. Not texted. Called it to the waiting room. Robin comes up and says, "Oh you're here!" Yes, Robin, I've been here since 10am and was outside that door. You didn't text me. "Oh, we don't text here." She seemed surprised that LabCorp, her employer, seems to think she does. I felt bad for LaTrice having to work with this incompetent person. I did not feel okay with Robin sticking me with needles, and LaTrice just quietly said, "I got you," and took me back. Bless her. Someone please get LaTrice a better employer!
