Some of the nicest people and they don't get enough credit. My experience at Quest Diagnostics has always been really good.

Good afternoon, I had 2 appointments here. The first appointment was done with a lot of attitude there was no show in values from the phlebotomists. The labs where never uploaded on time and when I asked for my results they said they would give me a number and never did. The second time is now and I have been waiting for 1 hr. My appointment was at 10:10. It's 11:00 And they promise that they will see me soon. read more

This is a convenient Quest location with ample parking and the entry easy access from the handicapped spaces. They were smooth with the blood draw. They took us immediately and they were well organized. We had not entered insurance information (and we live out of state) but they had it already from the labs. I don't understand the bad reviews-- I'm switching my parents to this location!! David is usually ready to show you his core curmudgeon, but this staff kept him smiling. read more

I had a wonderful experience with my appointment at Quest Labs in Villa Park. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I had Miriam draw my blood and she was fantastic! She was excellent in her technique and was thoughtful to ask how I was doing midway through the draw. The quality was excellent and all the stuff was being helpful to others checking in. Very patient and caring at this facility. I will be using this office for all my blood draws in the future. read more

After I drove all the way up here they tell me I can't get my drug test because they stopped at 2:30 like what's a 15 minute difference going to do? They could have at least explained to me why they stopped also instead of that just being the end all be all with no explanation. Just awful service and rude employees. Would 100% not recommend. I'm going to try the Westmont location and hopefully they're more accommodating and helpful instead of dismissive and rude. 0/5 stars! read more

Absolutely horrendous service. You can tell everyone there hates their job. When you reach out to customer care to express concern for unhappy, angry people with an attitude poking a needle in your vein, there's no response. It's not a one time thing, it's EVERY time. Awful Agency. My sister did not approve a payment and did they went ahead and took money from her account.

Today we got a bill for a test that you weren't supposed to do, but failed in your ability to read the script you were given. Insurance is saying it was experimental, so NOW we have to get on the phone and spend the day on hold trying to fix YOUR screw up, after our Horrible Experience! Let's tally this now. You screwed up the FIRST blood draw, the first time. Making it truly hard to get our six year old to come back. You screwed up the FIRST blood draw the SECOND time. On a SIX YEAR OLD. No one's a fan of getting stabbed with the needle, but if you can't handle kids, GET SOMEONE WHO CAN! You failed to read the script right, so even after my daughter's horrible experience WE DIDN'T GET THE RESULTS WE NEEDED! And now we have to spend all day on the phone with Insurance dealing with YOUR mistake! read more

Worst testing center, senior diabetic patients are ignored and asked to wait. I waited from almost throughout the day but yet could not be seen. They let you walk-in and do not see you. One person literally cried because he cannot get a job since his brig test was not taken. Very lethargic staff and broken system. All of our employees had shame issue with quest. I am going to write to my employer and insurance to remove quest as the in-network lab provider. They should not be in business if they could not provide better service. read more

People in this facility lock the doors before closing time. I needed to drop off a sample which doesn't take long. It was 5 minutes before closing time and the door was locked. I knocked and tried to call but there was no one at the desk. At 12 even , a person opened the door to let me know that they are closed, the computers are shut down, and that they can't take the sample. Just a suggestion, on your open hours info put the time when you lock the doors so that people don't make the unnecessary trip. Simply don't put 12 when the doors are locked already, put 11:55. read more

I have the worst veins. Many phlebotomists and nurses have had to call in coworkers to get someone else to try to get my veins. Gail got me on the first try. She was efficient, kind to me despite me being uneasy with blood draws and helped me get on my way quickly. Thankful for the easy experience. read more

Professionalism and proper attitudes sadly lacking here, in my opinion. Will never, ever go to this location again, and furthermore, I wish my insurance company would drop QUEST altogether. Technician insisted I owed a substantial co-pay, I knew I didn't, and when I proved it to her...oh boy....here came the attitude. She ranted on about how I disrespected her....by proving her wrong. Nice way to treat senior citizens with health difficulties. Skill at drawing blood is one thing, but human relations, customer friendly attitudes and respect for your customers is far more important in my opinion. Put these anti-socials with their belligerence behind closed doors in your lab...please, Quest, don't subject us to them. My heart is still pounding!! read more

I would give them a zero if I could. Took my 12 year old for a critical blood test. We still did not have the results 4 days later and NO RESULTS were ever sent to his doctor. Levels were needed in order to monitor medicines. This poses a health risk to my child who has autism. I have been  shuffle from 1 rep to another and now have been on hold for over 25 mins. Totally unprofessional and unacceptable. read more

If it's even possible for a blood draw to be great .... but if you have a choice of Quest locations this one is a really good one. Latasha was very patient and quick in helping me get the correct testing completed after another Quest location in Barrington messed up my original testing. I noticed that all patients were treated very quickly and courteously. They have their system down here and it's really appreciated when you're going in for blood or other testing - which no one wants to be doing in the first place. read more

I am extremely upset with how I was treated by one of the staff at Quest in Lombar, IL. First of all, I was referred to this facility for blood tests by my doctor because I do not have insurance and was told that the cost would be more economical at Quest. As soon as I was let into the room, the woman asked for my insurance. When I told her that I didn't have any, she got extremely rude and said the test was very expensive ($749). When I informed her that my doctor had referred me there and had said that the tests would be more economical at Quest, she again responded rudely by saying, "I don't know who told you that, but they lied to you! It's always expensive here without insurance!" Her attitude and demeanor towards me was so appalling and disrespectful the moment she knew I had no insurance. I immediately left after she again rudely referred me to some other, unknown clinic, almost as is she wanted to hurry and get rid of me. She clearly had no interest in helping someone like me and made it very clear with her attitude. I will never come back to this facility again. I would rate this 0 stars if I could. read more

If I could give zero stars I would! I went for blood work and Gail Jackson was completely unprofessional and lacked manners. She barely spoke two words, from getting me at the front she opened the door and said "let's go". I was shocked at the lack of professionalism she had and was dreading her drawing my blood. In the room as she was drawing my blood, she had me make a fist, as she started inserting the needle she legitimately SLAPPED my fist and said, "let go!" I mean.. really?!? How hard is it to say, "release your fist" or "relax your hand". Then as she had the needle in my arm she is yanking and pulling and literally snapped the band off my arm. I had complete patience and wouldn't have even left this review until the next thing occurred. I get up from my chair and there is bloody gauze and used gloves under my chair. As a health care PROFESSIONAL all of these things are not okay. She puts the bandaid on and then goes on the computer to finish up my order. I get up and I am standing by the door and asked when my results would be in, etc. She answered then turned back to the computer. Standing there, I asked, "Okay, is there anything else I need to do or am I done?" She said, "you're done" and didn't even move her eyes from the computer screen. How hard is it to say, "you're all set take care" or "All good, have a nice day." I will never come back to this location again, terrible experience and Gail made it clear how much she hates her job. read more
