Odometer on my 2001 Toyota Camry was having issues on high temp days that cause the odometer to not display and the speedometer to remain only at zero. It seems to be a common issue with older 1997-2001 Camrys and the solution was to replace with a new resistor (I tried replacing the VSS, transmission solenoids, spark packs/wires/plugs, new alternator and battery) per a video on YouTube. They did a great job with the soldering of the new resistor and I put the odometer/speedometer back together and into the car with no issues. Now to see if this resolves my Camry issues! He ordered the fan, which arrived within seven days, and was able to fix the problem within a couple of hours while also assisting walk-ins. During the wait for the fan to come, I was able to take my laptop home to use if needed, although Evan advised that I limit usage to no more than 30 minutes at a time to prevent overheating and use it only for essential tasks. Additionally, Evan is a conscientious person. I left a gift that I received from my nephew at his store. While Evan was away for the weekend, he coordinated with his mom and me to ensure I could pick it back up.
