After 3 yrs, I gave this restaurant another try. I was just here last Sunday and again I was disappointed. The prices were a lot higher than other Vietnamese restaurants. I ordered a $15 plus Pho and they just put a small amount of noodles. The broth didn't have a lot of flavor. They served the eggrolls with just a small piece of lettuce. My Mom and I have been wanting to try this place and finally did! So delicious and fresh! We had the fresh rolls and papaya salad to start with. Both light and refreshing. My mom had the brisket pho and I had the short ribs plate that came with a delicious pickled cabbage. So tasty and flavorful. The prices are reasonable and the staff was friendly. Basically this place is my wife and I's go-to spot for pho. We also usually get the crispy chicken wings tossed in the fish sauce. But the one I got seems to be sitting out for a while since the wrap paper was harden on the outside. They should make it fresh for every order for better quality. I thought they would of at least make it fresh since it's toward the end of the night. The bun bo hue I got had decent flavor. The soup looks really red and spicy but it wasn't super spicy as it looks. But it has great flavor. However I was still unsatisfied since they only put a small amount of noodles in it. And they charge $1.50 for extra noodles. I could buy a bag of noodles for $1.29 at lee lees supermarket for much more. I ended up still being hungry when I left. I'm a small girl but I know I can eat a lot, but if this doesn't fill me up, I don't think this fills up most people. Upon entering, I thought the inside was pretty roomy and big enough for huge crowds ! As I found my seat the waiter offered me a drink and I went with a green tea and a water. After browsing through the menu I decided to go with the basic orange chicken and rice. Instead of white rice I substituted it out for fried rice. The food came out rather quickly! Considering there was only 3 other family's enjoying their meals. As the waiter placed down my plate I decided to go straight to the orange chicken! I wasn't disappointed and it was rather tasty! The egg rolls were crispy but I did not like the insides. It was missing the meat portion for the extra taste. The bun with bbq pork was ok too. First of all, I love the name of this place, great play on words! (: This pho place had some really good pho, my only issue with this place is that the atmosphere was not enjoyable to eat in at. It had a slightly low end- cheap effect and I found immediately that I would order my food to go. Upon tasting the pho, it was sooooooo delicious. Such a great flavor! I just suggest a few things to this place, make your broth less oily, create a more comfortable environment and put up the cleaning supplies. It's just not a good thing to have them lying out in the open for all too see. Although we are glad you use them, let the results speak for themselves without the visual of the supplies. The neon lights, non-matching granite and marble, bad sky mural on ceiling, two flat screens on opposite walls on different channels with the volume up on low but loud enough to be heard no matter where in the restaurant you sat.
