We came around 12:30 PM on Saturday and our orders came out pretty quickly. We got the pho tai (rare steak), goi ga (Vietnamese chicken salad), and the fried pork egg rolls. The pho was just okay. The broth was pretty bland and lacked a depth of flavor but the noodles were a good texture and the portion was good for the price. The egg rolls were crispy and good but nothing super special. The goi ga was my favorite!! Refreshing, light, flavorful, and the portion was HUGE. I got a medium and couldn't even finish it all and for only $10 it was such a steal. I would 100% come back for the goi ga and would love to try some of their other dishes since it's so affordable but I wouldn't get the pho again. Ratings Fried pork egg rolls: 4/5 Pho tai: 3.9/5 Goi ga: 5/5

I ordered the noodle salad bowl with grilled chicken, tofu, and fresh vegetables, while someone else in my party chose a salad bowl with grilled pork and chicken. Everything was freshly prepared, flavorful, and cooked well. The chicken was overcooked though . The ingredients tasted fresh, the portions were generous, and the dishes arrived quickly without sacrificing quality. With so many menu options available, there's something for everyone. First of all, ordered at the counter and chose our seat. Place had plentiful tables to choose from. Menu had a variety of sandwiches, vermicelli, and rice plates. So many choices, but my tummy stuck with the sandwich. When the nicely wrapped sandwiches came to our table, I we were pleasantly surprised. The sandwiches were more than generous and huge. I ordered #2 - grilled pork, pate, fried egg, and with all the trimmings. Absolutely delicious! Bread was nice and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Protein fillings were not skimpy at all- the grilled pork was not overly salty, the pate was a nice thin creamy flavorful layer, and the fried egg was perfect and fluffy to top. The produce- pickled veggies with decent balance of cilantro and thinly sliced jalapeños! Omg soooo good. All fresh and flavorful! Can you pls open another eatery in San Antonio?!

Plenty of tables and we were given menus and told to select where we wanted to sit. There was only one server handling the lunch seating. We ordered a rice noodle bowl with shrimp and eggroll. We also ordered lemongrass chicken and lemongrass shrimp so we'd have leftovers! First, the noodle bowl was excellent with fresh lettuce, mung sprouts, & cucumber. I loved their fish sauce. The only criticism I would make is they overcooked their shrimp. Pretty chewy and dry. But I could overlook that easily. I cleaned up that noodle bowl! I can't excuse the dry and chewy chicken for my entree, though. It was so dry it tasted like it was days old! My friend had ordered the lemongrass shrimp which she enjoyed, but I could tell her shrimp was also overcooked. Both entrees came loaded with stirfry veggies and hot rice, which was delicious. All in all I will return in the future for another rice noodle bowl and to try their Pho.

It was very quiet inside and no one else came through while we were there. Just one to go order. Every time we try a new Viet spot we always get the egg rolls and spring rolls. You get 4 large egg rolls in an order and they were fresh and pipping hot. Spring rolls were fresh and the peanut sauce was very good. Husband ordered the vermicelli noodles with pork and egg roll. I ordered the banh xeo. When the banh xeo came out it was the biggest I've ever seen! But it was rice paper thin and crispy! It's hard to find crispy bun xeo so this one stood out. We were also convinced to order the fish sauce chicken wings. They were super crispy and had a light batter on them. Sweet and sticky. Our total ended up being $70 which is steep for lunch. But the portions were large and everything was fresh and hot. I want to go back to try the pho. They also had some items you don't see normally. Like snails and other shell fish.

I ordered the pho with meatballs and rare beef. There was maybe three slices of meat and maybe 2 meatballs cut up into pieces. About 75% of the bowl was noodle. So I would suggest ordering less noodle. Broth was on the oily side but had a decent flavor. There might have been msg in it.
